The food is good and the spice levels are as perfect just as we ask. The kababs were delicious ! We had the chicken and mutton biryani and it was great. The indoor seating is very fresh and nice !

Our absolute favorite for both buffet and a la carte! The best naan in the area! Love the green chicken and samosas! Love the okra and all the chicken dishes! My husband loved the mixed grilled! Hands down our favorite for many years!

Papdi chat is a pass , watery curd , no spices . Papdi Chatt

We were having our lunch and the servers started their own food . We have to call them to make our next order. For the first time ever in an indian restaurant in the US , it was not a good experience Gulab Jamun was ok , my son liked it ,only good thing for this lunch.

"Average Indian food..!! Got kabab platter, whatever rest over from lunch buffet..." Yes, I heard about it a lot and my visit was not that satisfactory. first, they gave us corner seats and I can see a lot of tables were quite empty. The server was not that enthusiastic to serve us. and one big tall messy bulky guy was serving people like serving in Marriage 'BHOJ'. we ordered Kabab platter in appetizers and I had been to their lunch buffet and I can tell you, it is nothing different from that(Might be left over from Lunch buffet). not much option in chicken entrees, ordered chicken black pepper and it was full of black pepper, even after reminding them, they did not bother to change it (typical Indian rest attitude) The manager was courteous enough to ask us to pack the rest over food. The food was not bad, but yeah it was not that good. So average..!!

Not seasoned enough. Better than the last INDIAN place we tried. Naan is on point. Portions are chintzy. Shrimp was meh. Prolly not returning.

Maybe my standards are too high, maybe this is best north jersey has to offer. But regardless, this was quite DISAPPOINTING. Service, decor, etc was fine. Complaints but no highlights either. $12 Indian Buffet: Cons: - small selection (tikka masala and tandoori were the only meats, several veggie dishes, dosa, salad etc. WHERE'S THE VINDALOO???? - flavors were the biggest dispppointment. pretty much all the curries and sauces lacked complexity. The flavors fell flat in pretty much every dish. The tandoori chicken looked like tandoori chicken, but it was not only dry, it also lacked tandoor smokingness and was quite bland. The same can be said of the tikka. Pros: - the naan was pretty good. they bring it to ur table fresh. - the chicken in the tikka masala was actually the second most tender chicken in curry i've had. TOO BAD the sauce was bland, not only in terms of spiciness but indian flavors in general. Overall: I would not come here again, but maybe this is the best in the area. That made me sad to think about for the locals new jersians.

Excellent Ghobi Manchurian, as well as everything else on the menu!!! Best Indian food in Parsippany as far as I'm concerned.

We came here before and wanted to bring our daughters who love Indian cuisine…read more Just be aware that they shut down in the middle of the day, so check the hours. They do post and update the website which is super helpful. We ordered and shared the following: Samosas Bread basket with a bit of all the Naan Malal Kofta Tangdi Kebaba-grilled to perfection (takes about 1/2 an hour since it's freshly made) Butter chicken Chicken Tikki Masala The sauces were delightful over their rice and of course to dip the Naan! Each one was tastier than the other and we brought home leftovers for tomorrow. This is a super busy place, lots of to go orders and people eating in. If the weather permits, you can even sit outside. Inside is thoroughly air conditioned and well ventilated. I dare say my kids rated this some of the best Indian food they have ever had.

Came on a Sunday night for dinner. The menu is a QR code that directs you online and requires you…read moreto view it from your phone. Unfortunately, it's extremely clunky and not very user friendly (see photos). Because there are so many items on the menu and they are grouped separately, you have to constantly click, then go back, then click again, and repeat. One pros to this is some of the items have photos and descriptions, although some do not have photos or any description or the writing is cutoff. Finally we were able to get a physical menu which was the menu they use as flyers to handout. It was much easier to navigate but the in house prices were more expensive by $2-$4 in some cases. I asked the waiter for his recommendation and he said the HBK spl Chicken Biriyani is by far the most popular. One thing to note, there is no description of what exactly it was. In all, we ordered garlic naan, chef special cheese naan, butter chicken, HBK spl Chicken Biriyani, and Malabar kothu paratha. They brought everything to the table at once except the biriyani came much later. I didn't want anyone to wait so told them to start. They may have assumed we were all sharing so that may be why it came at different times. Overall, the food was ok. Nothing too special. The HBK special is boneless pan fried chicken pieces and also bone-in chicken pieces. There was quite a bit of biriyani and kothu, the butter chicken seemed like not too many pieces of meat. Service was just ok. No one came to check on us and the server forgot our requests a few times. We finally got up and approached the staff to get what we needed. They weren't too busy in house but there seemed to be a lot of pickup orders. I would come again at a different time and try some other dishes, I don't think we ordered the right things. Will also stop by and try the weekend buffet and update my review accordingly.

Let me make this very simple: STOP TAKING ORDERS YOU CANNOT HANDLE…read more If your restaurant is understaffed and your kitchen is already buried, then turn off Uber Eats and DoorDash. Stop taking people's money, stop wasting delivery drivers' time, and most importantly, stop lying to people's faces. This is the THIRD time I've had the same problem with this place. My Uber driver texted me after waiting more than 30 minutes for my order. The guy at the front, who apparently was also working as the waiter, kept telling him, "five more minutes," then "ten more minutes," then another five minutes. Come on. Who are you kidding? If the food is going to take an hour, SAY IT'S GOING TO TAKE AN HOUR. Don't stand there looking somebody in the face and keep feeding them the same "five more minutes" nonsense every ten minutes. People in NJ hate one thing more than waiting: being played for stupid. My driver finally had enough and canceled the pickup. And I don't blame him one bit. I had already left more than a 30% tip, and even with that, he told me it wasn't worth sitting there during rush hour losing money while the restaurant kept lying about when the order would be ready. He also told me other Uber drivers were standing around complaining about the exact same thing. So clearly this isn't a one-time mistake. This is how this place operates. And please don't use "we're understaffed" as an excuse. Being understaffed happens. Continuing to accept more and more orders when you already know you can't handle the ones you have is a management decision. Enough is enough. I canceled the order, requested my money back from Uber, and ordered somewhere else. After three chances, I'm done supporting this place. If you can't make the food, STOP TAKING THE ORDER. And if you know it's going to take an hour, have enough respect to tell people the truth instead of lying straight to their face.
