He was knowledgeable, kind and helpful…read more Prior to the start of my first session, I shared my insurance information with Gavin (sp?) at the front desk and specifically asked her if the full cost would be covered by my insurance. She said yes, and additionally she told me that the first 30 visits would be "fully" covered by my insurance. I verified this with her on two other occasions, including right after my first session with Marcin. After a few visits, I now have a bill from them asking for the portion unpaid by my insurance. My calls to the office were never returned. The agency that does their billing hasn't been able to receive a response for the last 10 days from them either. I think this is either "bait-and-switch" or simple lack of adequate knowledge about insurance services. The fact that they haven't returned any calls doesn't speak well to their customer focus either. I suggest you get their responses to your insurance coverage in writing to avoid the situation I am in right now. Beware!!

Kindness, consideration for me as a person, me as a patient, as well as my condition. Spine zone has allowed me to take over my life by showing me that I have much greater potential that I knew and that I could be the master of my progress and destination in my rehabilitation. I cannot say enough about these fine people. Each and everyone of them has been an asset in my journey back to having a useful body and creating a mindset that I have not experienced since my accident 33 years ago. I do more now that I have during that period, and more than I did even before my accident. I can only say thanks, knowing it falls far short of acknowleding what I have gained. The physical therapists are very understanding and patient. They offered me an effective program while at the SpineZone location and while at home. Part of the program included using the various specially designed machines. One issue was the room was very small, so I would be hitting my body when getting up. The PT or PTA should have moved the table out but I think they moved so this problem is probably resolved. My 2nd issue is one of the Pt or PTA used so much pressure that I had a black and blue bruise and was in a lot pain. My mom, a registered nurse, wanted me to go to urgent care as the bruising was really bad. My 3rd issue is after my prescription ran out from the doctor they told me I so come back for 12 PT more visits. They did not ask me to run that by my doctor at all. I ran it by 2 different orthopedic surgeons who said no wait until after surgery for more PT. The company then called me to schedule even though my doctors said to wait. From my experience, I do not think high of the PT at Proactive at all.
