Whether you're craving beef, brats, or a creamy milkshake, they've got you covered. It was our first time visiting -- we'd been meaning to try this place for months -- and we were lucky to have Sylvia taking our order. She works Sundays and was super nice. She gave us great recommendations and really made us feel welcome. Definitely the kind of service that makes you want to come back. I went all in on the Juicy Juicy Burger, and let me tell you -- that thing is a big boiiii. Juicy doesn't even begin to cover it. It's a monster of a meal, stacked high and full of flavor. I also split an order of fries and cheese curds, which were perfectly golden and crispy -- no skimping on portions here, either. Honestly, that one meal covered lunch and dinner that day. Next time, I'm definitely splitting the burger because it's just that massive. But hey, if you come hungry, you'll leave full and happy. Uncle Franky's delivers on diner classics with generous portions, great taste, and friendly service. Don't skip the milkshakes on your way out -- they looked amazing.

The barbacoa was on the stringy, salty side. You can tell it's definitely authentic, but I don't know if the oil was old, but it was very strong smelling. Absolutely amazing and my new obsession!!!…read more After discovering this place I have been back weekly. Their tacos are some of the best I've ever had. Chorizo and potato is soft and spicy and savory. Al pastor is savory and a little sweet too. They come with hot and mild sauce, cilantro crema, and radish slices to add crunch. Loaded nachos are made with handmade tortilla chips, lettuce, loads of your choice of meat, refried beans and lots of other toppings. Their service is quick and always very friendly. You really cannot go wrong here.

Even though they are usually in Mears or Rice Parks, which are located in downtown St. Paul. I mean for a hotdog cart or stand, their menu is real simple. Of course they never they seemed to be busy, with short spurts of people, so I never had to wait that long. I decided on a polish sausage, with some chips and soda to go with my meal. Now once I paid they were ready right there with my meal. Now of course having the toppings make my meal. Like sauerkraut, mustard and well maybe ketchup. Of course since I was hungry the food not only hit the spot, but I was able to devour my meal in one sitting. Now my sausage was thick and really juicy as well. Far better than any ones I have had for awhile. Of course if I happen to run across them, it would be so much fun to maybe try a braut.

Gourmet burgers with fries & cheese curds - 4 stars…read more Tonight I checked out the PJ's Grill food truck at Alloy Brewing in Coon Rapids. Their specialty is gourmet burgers. I ordered 2 burgers to check-out what PJ's is all about. First, I got the PJ Burger. It has to be good since it's named after the truck, right? It came with Pepper Jack Cheese, bacon, peanut butter, and last but not least, a sweet grape reduction. It was great. Second, I got the Reuben Burger. This one came with corned beef (on top of the beef patty) sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, and 1000 Island Dressing. They were out of pretzel burger buns but it was still good. In the past, I've tried a ground beef burger with corned beef ground into the beef patty. But I've never had it on top. I think it's better on top because you can taste it better. This is a great option if you're in the mood for a burger. Thumbs up! -Maxx

WOWOWOW this place never disappoints, SO GOOD!…read more Today we sat on their rooftop patio, which was perfectly shaded and such a great spot to relax on a nice day. We did wait downstairs for around 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us, then told us we could just head up.. it was a bit odd. As a vegetarian, I'm constantly searching for a genuinely good veggie burger, and I truly think I've found the best one in Minneapolis here. Soo many restaurants treat vegetarian options like an afterthought, but definitely not B-52. I ordered the veggie burger on the Trashy with fried pickles and cream cheese, and it was AMAZING. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time, vegetarian or not. I also ordered an espresso martini and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Between the rooftop patio, creative menu, and standout vegetarian options, this place has quickly become one of our favorites. Already looking forward to coming back again when we're in the area.

We went here after seeing a movie…read more We decided to try out the rooftop patio. There was plenty of shade so it was nice and cool. The metal chairs were a bit loud to push in and out from the tables but fairly comfortable and wide to sit in. Easy to find seating on a Tuesday lat afternoon/evening. Our server was nice and let us know about the specialties of the day. We went for the $5 spicy margaritas. They were okay. Tasted a little watered down and not too spicy, which I'd say were all in all not so exciting. We had the lemon pepper chicken wings which had good flavor but felt dry. My beet salad was unimpressive. I'd even say it lacked a decent amount of beets. Where were the beets?!!? My boyfriend had the B52 burger which he really enjoyed but felt was a tad spicy from all of the jalapeño, but once he removed those from it, he was very pleased. Our service was a little slower that I would have liked. I would have ordered another drink had she came back to our table and asked us.
