Rude after hour emergency technicians. When you call they make it seem like you're inconveniencing…read morethem when it's their job. I have had multiple dealings with this company and I hate every time I have to call. Unfortunately since our builder went with a company that is at least 2 hours away. We have been without heat on a holiday with temps below zero and the technician could care less that we were without heat with children and would be during the coldest time of the year with a freeze warning for 3 days during Covid with no where to go. Now months later our AC is out and while thy were able to come see what the issue was they left without giving us a timeline which prompted us to call. So now on the hottest day of the year with a heat advisory out due to a dangerous heat index we sit trying to cool of kids who need to be well rested to learn in school tomorrow. I don't blame everything entirely on the company but I don't feel like a valued customer or that we would be in a dangerous situation until they could get back to us. We weren't offered a contingency plan or a way to cool the house down in the meantime. And it is the lack of customer care that will not invite back my loyalty and has earned them this review. I will update if customer service gets better.

The technician had the part already in his hand, and it is a plug and play part, which may at most cost $5. This is horrible business practice, and I will no longer be doing business with Plumbing Heating Paramedics. This company promotes pulling a fast one on their customers, as Wayne the tech mentioned to me he knows the part is very inexpensive, yet still chooses to work for this company, and then was attempting to force his religeon on me by saying I would be finding Jesus some day. BEWARE of this company who trains their employees to follow this poor business practice.

Because I had purchased a furnace from Plumbing and Heating Paramedics and received excellent…read moreservice and a fair price, they were first on my list when I found an outdoor water faucet frozen after the winter's cold weather. A technician came out and inspected it. He said he needed to turn water off to the whole house but probably would run into a problem with the shut off valve, and recommended that be replaced also. The total bill was going to be almost $1000. I wanted to think about it so paid him $85 for a service call and told him I would get back to him in a few days. In the meantime I spoke with a friend who has some plumbing knowledge and he told me how to make the repair. I didn't need to shut off the water at all. It cost me less than $6 and took about 5 minutes. I definitely feel I this technician was trying to swindle me. I called the owner and asked to speak with him to give him a chance to rectify the situation, but after leaving a message because he wasn't available never got a return call. I would avoid these people because now I sincerely questioned their honesty and/or competency.
