On August 20, 2025 Mr. Quik came out for our annual HVAC inspection and confirmed what we knew this…read moretime last year, that we would need a new AC unit. Close inspection was done and followed up by one of their trusted advisors whom we've come to know over the years. Our new system was installed the very next day. The two guys who came out were thorough, neat and complete. One was inside for the breakdown, while his partner was outside preparing for the transition of the unit with removal, new pad and ultimately seating the new unit. They had it all up and running within about 4.5hrs. They cleaned up after themselves, explained everything to me and were on their way. We couldn't be more happier and can tell the difference between the old unit and the new one, complete with a new Ecobee thermostat. We've been using Mr. Quik for about 8yrs now and have been completely satisfied with the service, preventative maintenance and sales when it's been warranted.

I would give this company zero stars if I could! We had a new HVAC system installed in September,…read morebut the whole insolation process took untill January. First off the sized our furnace too big for our home. They sold us a unit to cool and heat 3000sq feet, and our home is half that size. September was when I started ill with headaches and respiratory issues. I needed a lung biopsy. Biopsy showed no bacterial of fungal infection. Doctor said it was air contaminates causing my breathing problems. That was October. Christmas rolls around and I'm still ill. April we call someone to look at our water heater he informed me their is a gas leak in the basement coming from he HVAC system. I called Mister Quick immediately, Nick informed me that when the HVAC system was installed it was installed improperly. It was leaking gas in 4 different locations from the gas pipe to the furnace. He spent 3 hours repairing the installers mess ups. I immediately started feeling better. The facial swelling and headache went away. 9 days free from a gas leak in my home and I'm feeling much better. My husband said our home could have blown up and that's also what the gas company told me when I reported Mister Quick. I live in Brown County and from now on when we get anything new added to our home we are going with a local company that has our best interest in mind.

They asked if there was anything else I needed and as a matter of fact there was. They replaced two outdoor lights for us and threw away all the packing material. Both employees were professional and quite simply ensured my satisfaction.

We needed to have an outlet for an ev charger installed in our garage. When I called to make the appointment, the woman I spoke with said, "We've done just tons of these lately," which made me hopeful that they could help us navigate decisions regarding car charging stations for our garage. The estimator came out and gruffly said he had no experience nor advice about car chargers, had never estimated one before. He looked at the breaker box, pronounced the sub-panel more than sufficient (as I'd already said when making the appointment) and left, sending an estimate for north of $900 to install the outlet. As a consequence of his inexperience, we turned to Dr. Google and ordered a plug-in charger to work with the outlet specified in the estimate. When the electrician arrived, he was gruff and smelly. He said, "Well, where is it?" When we asked what he wanted, he said, "The car charger." It hadn't arrived yet, but I pointed out that the estimate was for a 240 volt outlet. "Nobody told me," he said, then asked to look at the breaker box. After informing me that he'd have to remove a significant chunk of drywall to make the installation, he left to go get parts and was gone for 45 minutes. When he returned, he said he could thread the wires through the hole for the outlet and wouldn't have to destroy our drywall after all. He completed the work (once present and equipped) in under 30 minutes. In retrospect, I wish we'd post-poned the visit until the equipment arrived and hard-wired it, and I fail to understand why this small job cost nearly one thousand dollars when it came without any information or assistance in making decisions around this technology. Or, if that price is in line, why the two Burtner employees we interacted with could not be pleasant nor knowledgeable. I've told two friends about this, and both recommended electricians who would have been more timely, friendly, and less expensive. And both said, "Sorry to hear that. Burtner used to be a good business."
