I met Willie of Bay Area Garage Doors at a low point. I had just been scammed into buying a…read moreLiftMaster system for $3,600. Willie had me FaceTime him so he could see the new system, said he would install the right one for $755, and suggested I have the other company come take their equipment away -- understandably, he didn't want to touch it. I was embarrassed that at 70 years old I could still be scammed like that. I'd just been put through the wringer of a 14-month renovation with tons of problems, it was two days before the July 4th holiday, and I was going out of town a few days later. I did not need another headache. Willie was GREAT. He never made me feel like an idiot. He was helpful and honest -- his website lists all his equipment with prices. That's transparency, and honesty. He came the next day exactly when he said he would and installed the system. He was pleasant, detailed, and had a sense of humor about life in general (which I fear I've lost for the moment). Willie himself commented that there are a lot of scammers in his profession. He took great care of me when I needed it. If you need a new garage door system, Willie at Bay Area Garage Doors is someone you should check out.
