We've had them over to the house 3-4 times over the years. They're usually same day service, do a great job, and no price gouging. Good quality work that lasts for years. read more

Ivan did a great job with our new garage door install, even came back in his own time to help a minor issue that cropped up with the seal. He talked us through pros and cons of different door options before ordering and coordinated with the contractor resurfacing our floor to make sure we would get a tight fit. Very reasonable prices for good products and service! read more

Did business Ivan several times in the past without any issues. Had my property manager call him for my rental for an issue with the garage door. Ivan stated he would not charge the $95 service fee if the estimate was approved the same day. I approved within an hour of being notified by the property manager. He did not wait around for the approval and returned to do the work on a different day and refused deduct the service fee. Very dishonest, will never do business with him again and definitely will not be referring him. read more

The old garage door broke off its hinge at 10:00 p.m. and after trying to fix it myself the next day to no avail, I called Ivan. Although his voicemail box was full, the phone number must have shown up on his Caller ID, because he called back 2 hours later at 6:00 p.m. and said that he would be there in 1.5 hours. He showed up early (along with an assistant) within 1 hour at 7:00 p.m. and had the hinge fixed within 30 minutes! I was impressed that his workday didn't stop at 5:00 p.m., but kept going until he had helped all of his customers. This is a responsive and reliable business owner who knows that great service garners great word-of-mouth advertising and repeat clients : ) read more

Today 9/10/2021 I called AA Garage Doors and spoke to Ivan. I told him that I needed my garage door spring repaired. And asked him if he was available today. He said yes and told me that he was going to be at my residence in 30 min. Sure enough he was! He repaired the broken spring and gave me a fair and reasonable price for my 2nd spring to match the new one that was repaired. Ivan was very fast and professional. He gave me some tips to keep up my springs and entire garage unit so that it'll last for years. I highly recommend AA Garage Doors if you want repairs done to your garage. read more

I own a rental house and after the tenants moved out, I realized they had replaced the garage door motor without telling me and the door didn't work. I called Ivan and he was here the next day, texted me his ETA, assessed the issues, had all the parts and had it cleaned and working in an hour. He was very pleasant and reasonably priced. I would recommend him to my friends if they ever needed their doors repaired. read more

Showed up on Labor day with no additional charges and first thing this morning. Repaired our garage door quickly and had the best customer service. Friendly, respectful and the best price I found on Yelp. I would recommend Ivan, his service and company to any locals near Pinole. read more

Ivan, was fast to come out and start the job. Price was competitive. I even had his brother do the sheet rock in my garage at a decent price. Ivan said when his brother was done with the sheet rock, that he would come back and finish the garage light and the hardware for garage door. He seemed trustable going by the reviews so I paid him in full and told him I'd call him when the sheet rock was completed. Sure enough he does not answer or text back now! It's things like that, that separate good businesses. All though I am a contractor myself i should've known better to not pay him in full before the job was completed. read more

Worked with Ivan, called sat morning he was able to install and deliver the opener I wanted same day at a competitive price! I had an issue with our garage door. It just would not function properly. It was today ( Saturday) not anticipating many availabilities. So I turn to Yelp and called couple specialists but most of them were not available with the exception of two including this company. Ivan did not answer the call when I called however he called back and explained that he was on assignment and could not answer the phone. That said, he was available sooner than the other company and I'm glad he was able to service our door at reasonable price. He is extremely professional and courteous. I plan to use this company in the future. read more

CAN'T BEAT THEIR PRICE!! After one of their competitors made us wait half a day and then no-showed, I called AA Garage Doors because they were local. Ivan arrived within 2 hours as promised and gave me a quote that was nearly half the price that the other guys charge! He would have completed the job the next day but it was past 4pm on Friday. We agreed to have him come out on Monday morning. He was a little late but made up for it by completing the entire job within 3 hours! He removed and disassembled our old garage door and motor, and installed a brand new door plus all of the hardware along with a new door opener/motor super fast! He greased the track and made sure to test everything out before finishing up and showing us how to use and maintain it all. I have a Single car garage and a Double car garage. The Single garage had the circuit board go out. The door would open and close at random, any time of the day or night. Before that happened, it was noisy opening and closing, plus it had a sudden jerk when it was closing. When Greg left, it was smooth and silent. Everytime we open or close the garage door, I think about the fabulous job that Greg did. The Double was working well, but occasionally it would "think" there was something blocking the sensors when closing, then as designed, would open. The sensors were in proper alignment, misalignment usually the cause for that issue. Greg checked a couple of things, figured out the problem, and fixed it within five minutes. I wish more businesses would do this kind of excellent work. It's been a long time since I've had an experience with a business that left me smiling. It's been 3-weeks since Greg was at my house, and as I write this, I'm still smiling!!! read more

Ivan is very reliable and dependable guy . Our garage door spring broke I called him late afternoon for same day service on his busy family day. Such a nice guy. He finished the job installing two new springs, lubricated our door and did some maintenance work to make sure our door is working perfectly. Ivan is honest, easy to deal with and does the job very well. I highly recommend Ivan and his expertise!!!!! read more

I first called AA Garage Door about 6 month ago when my garage door just decided to stop working one day when I got home from work. Called at 6pm and Ivan scheduled me first thing the next morning and replaced the garage door opener. I was very happy with his service and professionalism. This morning the spring broke, I called Ivan at 8am and he arrived at 11am and had the spring replaced in under 30 minutes. I should have left a review 6 months ago but after my second great experience with AA Garage Doors I had to leave a 5 star review which is long overdue. Thanks Ivan! read more

Excellent work, professional, and quick response. In college, I went to South Padre Island when I had spring break, but now that I'm a middle aged man I go to AA Garage Doors when I have springs break. I called Ivan on Saturday night to replace my garage door springs, he called back later in the evening, and fixed my garage door on Sunday morning for the price that we had agreed upon the night before. The price was about the same as everyone else's, as there wasn't more than a $20 difference among the three places with five star ratings that called me back. While he was fixing the door, he informed me that the old springs were not strong enough for the weight of the garage door, so he used a spring rated for a heavier load. He also noticed that one of my hinges had broken and replaced it. Ivan also did a few things that the repair person from another company (the last time I replaced the springs) did not do. Ivan informed me that I should spray lubricant on the springs ever year to decrease the friction (and thus prolong the life of the springs). He also lubricated the springs (twice), all the hinges, and the bearings inside the cable drums. On top of that, he seems like a nice guy. I'll use him again the next time my springs break, but hopefully not for another 10 years or more. read more

We discovered, on Saturday morning, that one of the counterbalance springs on our two-car, steel garage door had broken, making it impossible (at least for me, and I am pretty strong for an old guy) to open. Both cars trapped, and no answer but "leave a message" from anyone I called -- until I called AA Garage Door. Ivan answered, listened to my sad story, and told me he would be out in an hour. One hour later Ivan arrives as promised. Three quarters of an hour after that, both springs have been replaced, the cars are free to roam the streets again, and all for a very reasonable price. Prompt, pleasant, and reasonable, I would call Ivan again without hesitation. read more

Ivan came out to my home at 6pm on a Saturday night. Reviewed my problem and fixed my garage door within an hour. He made needed adjustments and lubed all the moving parts at no additional cost. Awesome service! Our garage door stopped opening, and we were able to get a quick and convenient service call. One of our springs was broken, but we went with replacing both of them. Ivan also tightened everything up for us and re-installed our sensors properly. We moved in about 9 years ago to a house that had a lot of work done by flippers and a DIYer previous owner, and this garage door opener has rattled loudly and kind of banged down ever since we moved in. After Ivan worked on it, it rolls up and down as smooth as buttah and we no longer have to worry about the sensors getting loose and falling off! Very reasonable pricing too. read more

Ivan did a great job installing new garage doors and you can't beat the price! I got 6 different estimates and AA was by far the least expensive for the same exact garage doors as the others were going to install. In fact, he even upgraded the opener to a commercial brand without charging me any extra. Ivan was very nice and honest. Would highly recommend him. read more

Our garage door spring broke, and we we're stuck! Couldn't get it open, couldn't get cars out and had to go run some important errands. After calling the top 2 competitors, one even stated 24 hr. emergency service only to be told they couldn't get to it today. They did say if they had a opening they would call back. I called AA Garage Doors, Ivan quoted a time and came out at that time. He was very thorough, replaced the springs, showed us some hinges that needed to be replaced as well. All done in a very timely manner, with a very fair price. The other 2 did call back later in the afternoon, but Ivan had already been here and the work was done. I highly recommend his service. read more

I recently purchased a home with an old wooden garage door. I called two companies to compare prices. Ivan set up an appointment to give me a quote within hours of me calling him. He came over and had several styles to choose from. I couldn't make up my mind what color would look best, but Ivan gave me his recommendation and I went with it. He ordered my door and installed it this week. Ivan is very professional and he gets the job done. I absolutely love my new garage door and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AA GARAGE DOORS!!!! read more

I was locked out of my Garage, Ivan responded quickly (within 1 hour)to resolve the problem. Ivan let me know up front the cost to gain access to my garage over the phone. Upon arriving Ivan was friendly and professional. Ivan was great, gained access to my garage, he also lubed and oil the tracks on my garage door at no additional charge. Ivan also informed me of my need to replace my battery soon, but never tried to sell me any services or goods which I thought was awesome. I will definitely use AA Garage Doors again and would refer them to any family or friends in need of garage door repair or service. read more

The spring on my 2 car garage door snapped and I needed it replaced. I first called a local competitor who threw out 3 different fees and managed to confuse me (and I should mention I work in finance & sales). I called Ivan at AA Garage Doors, after reading his reviews. Ivan quoted a simple (AND LOW/Out the door) price. Ivan came by only a few minutes after my initial call. He confirmed the spring was the issue and got right to work. He did a great (and fast) job and had my garage working good as new! I would recommend you call him FIRST! Honest, fast, reliable. We purchased our garage doors (2 single doors) through Lowe's and they contracted to install them with AA Garage Doors. Ivan was extremely professional in his scheduling and his work.
