Called because my garage door wouldn't shut all the way. We'd attempt to close it and would go half way down and come back up. When I called he told me it was a sensor issue and walked me through it over the phone. I asked that they still come out and Vince was able to come out within an hour. He said the sensors were off because of the sun/placement of the sensors and that door was rattling and knocking the sensors out of place. Vince replaced the rollers in the garage door and adjusted the sensors so they weren't rattled by the garage door. He was knowledgeable, kind and efficient. I recommend them! read more

This is the second time I've used them. It was great both times. This time my garage door (on another house, I moved) fell off the tracks randomly while it was closing. They made a quick appointment that was convenient for me, quoted me a good price, and then replaced the rollers and reset the door. Cleaned everything up and did some tune up on it and did something with the springs too that was important. I can't remember all the stuff but it was extensive and was a really good price. The technician was super nice, professional and helpful and solved all my problems quickly and easily. I would never use another garage door company after both great experiences with 1A Garage Doors. Hi Vince, My review is still valid, I mentioned I planned and going with someone else-but you could still come out and take a look at it if you wanted a better assessment in person-to which I found this review as your reply. I knew there was dry wall cracking, however as I mentioned it wasn't to the extent of what is it now. The ceiling is not falling through. I had also mentioned to your technician that the roofer and home inspector had stated there was no water damage. The end point was that your technician did not need to flick off the dry wall for an evaluation. More damage does not help even if it was a Free evaluation. Between my mother-in-law, daughter and me, we have now used 1A four times and there's a good reason for that: they are really responsive (call back quickly, show up right when they say they will), qualified and honest. This last time, our garage openers were working sporadically. We knew it wasn't the motor since we could use the manual button just fine.
