Mark the owner is an absolutely awesome guy! He's very knowledgeable about garage doors, super nice/positive, patient, does not try to rip you off/oversell anything, and makes sure the job is done right and his customers are happy. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more dedicated guy than Mark! He helped replace and update our garage door opener last night after our old system suddenly died on us. It was a bit of a tough installation due to our garage door opener system being older, but Mark made sure the job was done right and even did some extra adjustments for free to make sure our new opener ran as smooth as possible and wouldn't die on us like our prior one. Great service, very reasonable prices, quick/constant communication, flexible hours. Would highly recommend to anyone with garage door issues! read more

Fox Garage Doors & Gates - This is Mark, the owner, taking great care! - Garage Door Services Near Me

Fox did a very good job. He was prompt and arrived the same day. I had a broken spring and he replaced it within 20 mins

A+ Company! Back story: we spent over a year decluttering my in-laws' garage, which was crammed to the max with accumulated belongings and boxes from several moves. The garage was so full, they were parking their car outside and had not opened their garage in over a year. ^_^ The reorganization has been a tremendously long and tedious process, with multiple donation pickups, inhaling tons of dust, filling up trash bins weekly, finding salvageable items to sell, etc. Finally on Christmas Eve 2025, we were ready. It was time to open the garage door and see if we could park their SUV inside. Little did we know that my FIL is a bit safety-conscious and had forgotten to tell us that he stuck a few screwdrivers on the side of the garage railing, in an attempt to thwart any possible break-ins. Unknowingly, we plugged in the garage door opener into the outlet and optimistically pushed the button. The garage door started lifting. Then suddenly a loud crash happened, cables went flying and BAM, the door slammed shut! My husband and I looked at each other and knew that wasn't a good sign. Long story short, we knew we had to get the garage door repaired but were concerned that with the holidays, it would be difficult to find someone to come out that same day. We really didn't want to drive back there after Christmas and we needed to be there to handle payment. Went to my go-to for finding good companies--Yelp! Called one company but the receptionist couldn't give me a definite answer if they had anybody available for today, and that the tech would "give me a call." I didn't want to waste time waiting so I put in a request on Yelp for a garage door company who could come out same day. I figured I'd get a few messages on Yelp and could look up their reviews and then decide which company to go with. However, soon my cell phone started ringing and I was confused. Turns out Yelp has a feature now where they will allow companies to call Yelpers through a secondary number. In other words, they can call you but your phone number is hidden from them. I'm not crazy about this feature since I don't really want to get inundated with calls, but it worked for this particular project. Mark @ Fox Garage Doors was the first person who called us after my Yelp project request. He said he could be there within 30 minutes and assured us he had a van full of tools, parts and equipment that could fix our garage door issue. He also said it was a free consult, and no obligation to pay anything. I told him that since he was the first person who called, he got the opportunity! As promised, he showed up quickly and in 1-2 hours time, my in-laws' garage was running like new. Mark's personality and professionalism was wonderful also. He was very polite, friendly and understanding. He told us he was from Nazareth (or was it Jerusalem?), which was super cool because I've never met anyone from Nazareth, despite reading about it in the Bible. At the end of our visit, Mark went above and beyond and gave my in-laws a little gift that we weren't expecting but was extremely beneficial to them! So thoughtful! We are so glad that Yelp introduced us to Mark and Fox Garage Doors (he's the owner). We're grateful that Mark took time from the busy holiday season to help us out with our garage door issue. We will definitely recommend him to all of our family and friends, as well as calling him in the future if we have any additional garage door issues (fingers crossed that we don't for a while though!) Thank you, Mark & Fox Garage Doors! A+++! read more

At the last minute, the hinge assembly from the garage door opener to the garage door was sheared off. This would not be a simple repair for me. This happened on Christmas Eve. Not having a functional garage door was not an option. After looking around to see which company to choose, and leaving some messages, Mark from Fox Garage Doors & Gates contacted us. He sounded really friendly and honest on the phone, don't ask me how I know that, he just sounded friendly and honest after hearing what was our issue. He said that he could get to our place in 30 minutes and sure enough, he made it in under 30 minutes. After the in-person meet-and-greet, Mark understood the issue and let me know that he had all the parts on his van to fix the garage door. He was done in a little less than an hour. I can tell you that his skills in fixing the problem was second-to-none and he even did a few safety checks and lubed the wheels and track. For the work that was performed, and how speedy he was in responding to my call, the price was very competitive and very reasonable. Mark explained everything that he was going to do and definitely put my mind at ease, telling me that this would be a straight forward repair. I met Mark in a pinch because of a repair issue, but I would not hesitate for him to do any other garage door-related work. He's definitely a class act and I would refer my friends and family to him. read more

Marc is the owner of fox Garage Doors & Gates. He is absolutely amazing and very responsive. He came to my house and had all the parts to repair my spring and switch out whole unit to a more sturdy and reliable spring than one that was on there, from builders. Literally within a minute my phone was ringing n it was Mark at Fox Garage Doors. Mark from Fox was great. He responded within 5 minutes of my request. Came to my house to look over my garage door. He explained the initial problem and quoted me. He also quoted me on maintenance of the door, replace the springs, drums and door wheels. No push to do any of the work, just straight forward recommendations. After speaking with two other companies, I decided to go with fox. The other two companies diagnosed the issue as I needed a new garage door opener. Neither of them came to my house to look at the problem they just had me tell them the name of the unit. Mark came to my house and quickly and cleanly fixed the issue as well as completing the maintenance issues. When I do need a new opener I will go to him. Great experience!!! read more

Our garage door stopped working a day or two ago. Wouldn't go all the way up. Would open 4"-36" then freeze. Close. Repeat. Reached out this morning. Heard back within an hour. Scheduled an in person evaluation for 2pm. They showed up promptly. Diagnosed the issue. Provided several options to fix the issue, other well aged components, or everything. Opted to replace everything. Service was quick. Well explained. Reasonably priced. Finished in time to get our car back into garage for the night.
