Once I decided on my purchase, he polished it and put my bracelet on for me, teaching me how to do it by myself. I didn't have cash, but he was flexible and let me Zelle him. A few days later, I went to put it on and noticed that a tiny part on my bracelet detached and I couldn't wear it. I wasn't tripping because I bought previously-owned jewelry and I knew all it needed was a little solder. Best place to sell your gold, silver, etc. I normally don't leave reviews, but after the experience my boyfriend and I had, I had to. We stopped in, on a Sunday afternoon, and immediately were greeted and taken care off, by the gentlemen working ( believe he owns the place? ) The entire process was, surprisingly, quick and easy. The GOOD GUYS at G.A.D. Gold With all the scam artists and conmen out there, it is a pleasant surprise to find a businessman with integrity and honesty. An 85-year-old friend needed to sell a large quantity of gold coins. Doing a search through Google, I found hundreds of listings for 'the best gold company'. After making a dozen calls, I realized I was working in a snake pit. Many of these guys had graduated from the used car salesman or accident lawyer profession. Arthur, the owner of GAD, gold and coin on W. Bell Rd., was a ray of sunshine in the vast sea of unscrupulous dealers. Driving two hours to meet him, he was on time, friendly and honest. We were mistaken on the weight of the gold of our coins, but Arthur noticed it immediately and brought it to our attention. I went here originally to see if what I have was real and he told me that it wasn't so then I had asked him about some items I seen that he had on display if he was selling them he says yes I will make you a deal just for you and I said okay what is it he said I will give you each gram of silver I will give it to you for a dollar I said okay so I picked several silver rings that he had out and it added up to around $500 it seems like a lot of money but it was a lot of rains and I figured if I sold them for 20 bucks each I would make my money and some so I went to a lot of my friends cuz I know a lot of people and told them about the rings so I ended up selling some but not all of them so most of the people told me if you get any more let us know we'll buy more so I went and I purchased more from him which it was around $900 and also boxes for the rings and I also purchased some bracelet earrings and necklaces when I walked in he was in a hurry he said that he had to do something very important if I wanted to make a purchase I would have to hurry so I hurried up and picked out a whole bunch of stuff and left doing the same thing going to miss some friends and asking if they wanted to buy any of them again for $20 so they bought some of the things I had bought them from g a d coin and gold next thing you know the lady told me look at what this ring did it turned red like copper I was embarrassed soon I had other people coming to me where one time it got physical and one guy had purchased ring from me for his soon to be wife which is in Mexico he had sent the ring to her and at the same time propose to her with the ring that I sold to him the next thing you know she calls him and sends him a picture of the Ring which had turned again red like copper he came at me very sad and angry telling me that his fiance was upset for the ring that he had sent her because it wasn't real I was really embarrassed and upset and then decided to go to gad coins and gold and have a talk with him about the items he had told me he then began to get nervous and out of control yelling and getting upset saying I was lying and I never bought anything there that wears the receipt which he never gave me one so I called the police and then that's when he was saying okay let's make a deal oh my I say that the second time I went to buy the jewelry he charged the price and it was at $ 1.75 a gram instead of a dollar a gram he told me that silver has gone up and is at a high price right now I didn't mind I still would have made my money and some so he said I'll tell you what I'm going to give you $170 that's it and I told him no I want what I paid for all this stuff back what I had left anyways he started changing his stories and telling me he told me that some of it wasn't real it sucks that I really trusted him because it is a business and never would have thought that something like this would happen and he thinks he's going to get away with this he is probably doing a lot of people like this and doesn't even care I hope by me putting this review people will read so they don't get burnt like I did it is sad you can't even trust people that have businesses like him read more

I found a ring in the dirt in a park, and had absolutely no idea whether or not it was worth anything. The ring has chips and whatnot so it seems as if somebody deliberately threw it on the ground. I went to the closest cash for gold place, as the last place I went to, the guy seemed rather off (super nice, but just an odd interaction). I don't know what a good price for ANY metal of value is, I let Google do my homework and show the nearest one. Anyway, my friend drops me off, and I go inside. I walked in with my sunglasses, as I do everywhere I go. The man (taller, dark hair, dark eyes, no clue if he owns the place or just works there) rudely TELLS me to take them off. Literally doesn't ask me, but tells me to. Then asks me about the ring. NEVER have I been questioned before about anything I've ever brought it anywhere else, but I get it. I am sure pawn places and these types of places have stolen goods brought in. So I proceed to tell him that I found it, cleaned it at home and had absolutely no idea what metal it is, or what it's worth. Which is why I am there, as they have the knowledge that I don't. He then asks me if the diamonds are real. So apparently he chose not to hear me say that I had NO CLUE as it wasn't mine to begin with. He tests it to see if it's gold and tells me it's silver. And that I would get $10. So I said, yeah I guess, but it still felt off. I am then told I would need my ID. Again, I've sold a lot of items from my ex husband, including my own wedding ring, at various places, and have never been made to feel like a POS degenerate as this man made me feel. I was on my way to work, so I had left my purse in the car, so I told him that I would go grab it and be right back. Because something felt off, I looked at the inside of the ring. It had platinum markings on it, according to EVERY freaking website my friend and I could find. So not only did this jerk make me feel like a thief, but he also was trying to give me $10 and told me I had a silver ring, when in fact the damn thing is platinum. So we took off and went to another near by place, and sure enough, I was correct. It was in fact platinum and was told ANY jeweler would know by simply looking at the markings. I was offered substantially more, wasn't questioned at all, and there were no demands about walking in with sunglasses on and NEEDING to remove them. I told the husband/wife team what I experienced, and they were also floored. Empathetic to the business aspect itself, as am I, as they have been ripped off before with stolen goods, but couldn't believe how awful I had been treated. This guy who either works there, or owns the place is a HUGE POS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS here. I wish Yelp had a no star option as people like him are disgusting. I truly wish I had the whole interaction recorded with my phone from start to finish. Oh well, I didn't end up getting ripped off. And because I FOUND it, I would have been happy with $10 as it was $10 that I didn't have prior to. read more

I went to this place after reading the review left by another person. It was right by my house but I never knew it existed. They came very close to my asking price and I was very happy with their service. I definitely recommend them if you have jewelry to sell, they even buy iphones and electronics. Check this place out. There are a lot of scammers out there who try and get away with giving you as little as possible. This place was not like that. Visit them and see for yourself.
