If it's a difficult repair, I understand that but at least offer a refund or a referral or something. He was happy to take my money, but was quite rude and lied about his Repair man being dead. I was shopping nearby while my wife was in another store when Mike, the owner, came out and casually mentioned they had Rolexes in the back. Naturally, I was interested, so I asked to see them. To my surprise, he refused to show them to me. Why even bring it up if you aren't willing to back it up? It felt like a pointless tease, and frankly, it was frustrating. I ended up going to Oliver Smith Jewelers instead, where they were more than happy to assist me. I would have gladly given my business to this place, but their laziness and poor customer service were a complete turn-off. I came in because I wanted to get my wedding ring resized. He took out the ring sizers and told me it needed to go down 1 1/2 sizes, which felt super tight. I told him I was more comfortable with going down one size in case I gained weight back, his reply: "are you planning on gaining weight?" which was very very embarrassing and rude. It was so off putting, he has no idea of my medical situation and why I lost weight, even so, who says that? Additionally, he refused to work on my ring, even after going through that entire process because it had some inset diamonds in the band and the diamonds would fall out. If that's the case, then why go through the entire process to figure out my correct size? I consulted 2 other jewelers who said the ring could absolutely be resized with no problem. In summary: 1: he's rude and condescending. 2: he either gave out incorrect information, or lied to me as to why he didn't want to resize my ring, or both. In either case, it makes for a very bad experience. Go somewhere else. read more

Absolutely terrible experience with the owner Mike. We went to him for my engagement ring. He was given an image and specifics about the setting we were looking for. Assured us that his brother could absolutely do that. He put the diamond in it a temporary setting and let us know that when we were back from vacation he would have the correct setting ready for us. We went in after and he completely forgot, pretty sure he walked to the back and just grabbed another setting (nothing like the ring setting we had paid for). We then went through the process again- gave him all the specifics- he made no eye contact, completely disregarded us as we were talking- runs over and yells at the security guard, comes back and proceeds to tell us that he is spending a lot to remake this setting. The thing is, the original setting and 2nd setting was absolutely nothing like what we asked for. They let us know it would be ready in 1-2 weeks max. 3 weeks passed and so I called and asked Mike when I should expect the ring to be ready. He again- had no idea what I was talking about, he didn't know what I was calling about, asked what they were supposed to be doing with the ring? Very unsettling after spending that amount of money. He said he would call his brother and call me right back- again, no call back. I then called them the next day and said I was very disappointed in the service and communication. He got on the phone and said his brother will mail Tuesday so come in Tuesday. As soon as I hung up this is what he texted me- so unprofessional on so many levels. Just communicate. I recently lost a stone in my engagement ring after doing some very heavy home renovations. I found this location, which I've gone to a few times now. I purchased a new stone separately and had them reset it in my engagement ring. When I called around to other jewelers they seemed arrogate and turned me away, because they don't work on lab grown stones. However, each time I've been to Braidy's they've been extremely professional, friendly, kind and fair. They also helped with watch resizing and selling some gold. When we went to pick them up, mike had doors locked even though there was an entire car show going on outside and within business hours.. do you even want customers? As we picked up the studs, they were in a balled up tissue. We asked about certs or even just using a Diamond tester to verify the stone. But none of that, his Diamond tester was not charged? and then he became super defensive about it saying he's a family business and we should just automatically trust him. Was unwilling to sell his own merchandise to us. Never going back, if you are selling anything and aren't comfortable answering questions or selling your own merchandise, that's a HUGE red flag. They expedited the shipping and told me they were going to get the ring a couple days before my wedding. There was a mishap with the shipping of the ring cause of Memorial Day. If you're thinking about coming here and spend money, DONT! We have walk thru this area a few times seeing this place, looked at their website and wanted to check them out. Well that was a big disappointment. Customer service is terrible and the owner is super rude! We walked in and he was on the computer watching Youtube. He said Hello and continuing having his eyes on the screen and did not want to engage with us like we're not significant enough for his service. After a few minutes of walking around the store I asked if he could help me to custom a ring (which on their website they advertising). And his response was: " No we don't do custom ring". And so I asked if he could show me a setting he has there so maybe I set my diamond on it. He said: " It won't fit your diamond" So, clearly these people owning a family business really dont want your money and they treat you like peasant. Every time we go in we are welcomed by Mike and Monda and Mikes daughter. Mike did a great job making a new ring for my wife. He took her original diamond and made it into a pendant necklace. He is also taking her original ring and replacing it with a sapphire in the original marquis mount. They are a small family business that doesn't have a bunch of sales reps standing around to take your money. Sometimes that personal touch takes time and patience on the customers part. Great job Mike. I've had watches repaired here and much prefer them to J.C. Penney like the lady that was in their today said to Mike. Be back to pick up my matching band when it's ready next week. Good initial experience but very poor customer service once they have your money. Don't let them sucker you into buying one of those "unbreakable" Tungsten rings. I bought my wedding band there and it didn't even last a year. I noticed a hairline crack on the ring, brought it in and they pretty much told me, sucks to be you, can I interest you in buying another at full price? Apparently you can "smash it with a hammer" and it won't break but if you drop it on anything but carpet it will develop a crack. Had I known this to begin with I would have just bought a regular gold one. I don't think the gold looks as nice and it is more expensive, but at least it will last longer than a year... read more

Their jewelry is very unique and competitively priced. Mike did an excellent job on my wife's ring repair, joining the rings and sized it perfectly. Not to mention the turn around time was within a few days. Your jewelry never leaves the store during the course of the repairs. We're now loyal customers due to their customer service. Two things - 1) there should not be any reason to not clean a fake diamond 2) my diamond is NOT fake I understand the liability associated with cleaning a diamond that was not purchased at his store. I have been using Brady jewelers for over 7 years now and I have several custom pieces well over 3 carats that were crafted to perfection including our matching wedding set. Any time I have entered the building I was not only greeted but ran to by the staff. The employees have never told me that what I want is impossible, in fact if they weren't able to do it in store it has been shipped to their location back east and the product was finished there in a timely fashion.
