Don't let the neighborhood scare you, it's a busy area with high visibility and lots of traffic (just don't advertise on the way in/out). Me and my two friends went to Bancless this week to get a ring my friend got from his sister that was a hand-me-down from her from their grandmother in order for us to have Christmas Money (Mind you we're 3 Foster Children) and we tested the ring at home with the following. 1. Mirror Scratch - Passed 2. Fog Test - Passed 3. Color test - Instead of it being clear, it did have a Nearly colorless appearance which in my eyes appears to be a faint yellow. Also has a VVS1-VVS2 appearance with Imperfections in it. Anyhow, when we entered the store, they took the Combination Diamond/Mossanite Machine to it. Now from what I looked up, if the machine Beeps and a indicator would light up. All three of us heard a beep and me and the one who was selling the ring saw a light on their tool. However the lady told us "We're sorry this is clear stones. Not Diamonds" even tho the machine she used is clearly telling us the polar opposite. If it wasn't diamonds it won't react. However it did with a Pass. Then her suggestion was "Sell it online" Which we did, however from what a "James Mauro" claiming to know the owner of the place and harassed me for our visit due to Bancless being open to tell this NON-EMPLOYEE everything about our visit. Main Issues with this place from my visit with my friends: Employees doesn't even know the tools they're working with, Unprofessional by essentially giving information about everyone's trips to the store to Non-employees. However.... One redeeming factor of this location atleast from me. Is that they was relaxed, not snappy, and really friendly and pleasant like how their website says. Due to this... If I had to rate this store from a scale of 1 to 10 (10 Being the best) It'll get at most a 4 due to the friendliness of the staff towards people directly. However almost TOO friendly by giving out information of customers to non-employees and also seems like employees do not know the tools they're working with. From their website, we should've gotten 6,000 in order for us 3 foster children to get a Christmas. However now, we're not having a Christmas at all due to their mistake of not knowing their tools. read more

Terrible customer service! I am a repeat customer. I had an appoitment to select a larger better diamond. I showed up for my appt and the person I scheduled to see was fired. So the inventory I was going to view was not available. This was a long drive for me as I dont live close. I asked the owner to call me, to reschedule, he never called. Apparently they do so well the owner doesnt need to be bothered to generate a sale of a diamond. Found a new shop, Regal Pawn . Great owner, I did not have the same issues. I was out trying to get prices on some of my mothers broken gold pieces, AZ gold was my third stop. The two girls at the counter were nice enough, however, almost the entire time I was at their counter the two spoke in spanish to each other (of which I do not speak). I found it to be a bit unprofessional and a bit unnerving since I could not tell what they were saying about me or my gold pieces. They gave me a total and I took my few thing back across the street to Bell rd Pawn where they had offered me almost $30 more. read more

After searching for a great engagement ring elsewhere (traditional retail Jewelers and brokers) I was left unimpressed.
