This studio is AMAZING. If you're interested in getting and looking stronger, this is the space to join. Prior to joining this studio, I was doing Hot Pilates at a studio that was more spa like, and was also a great fitness space, but after a year, I was reaching a plateau. While I got stronger and even lost weight, the body composition wasn't compositioning' quite like it is at G:50 in only 2 weeks of my monthly membership. If I had joined this space a year ago, my body would be bodying more than it is, but I'm super happy to have found the space. Coach Kat introduced me to my first class, and inspired me to return. She had great attention to detail when it came to adjustments to achieve proper form. Then I discovered every other instructor also had that same level of precision, with slight variations in personality and style. They'll ALL push you to your threshhold and beyond, and with regular attendance you'll grow addicted to the workouts pretty quickly. If you're looking to relax in comfort, this ain't it but if you're looking to get uncomfortable for strength and growth, definitely try these classes! The only thing I wish they did have are towels and showers, but quite honestly, the classes are too exceptional because in any other case, that would've been a deal breaker. read more

Great Pilates classes! The instructors could be a little more specific when addressing exercises. But good overall and a much better price than many studios. read more

It's a pilates party with parking! It's perfect! Seriously, the music is upbeat and fun. The HiiP (high intensity interval pilates) classes are challenging to the point where my HR can get to the 160s range - so i get that nice endorphin high. It's a total body workout that burns! The instructors are motivating and offer helpful corrections. They are personable as well. When you enter there's an area in the back where you can put your stuff, which feels a lot safer than leaving it in front. Theres also a water fountain, weights, a speed bag, etc for personal training. I book through classpass, which is nice because it doesn't use up a ton of credits like other studios. read more

Sweet Jesus ! Took the Saturday HIIP class with KAT and served me goood ! I have never broken a sweat in Pilates til today . She was great with modifying my angels and positioning which I felt a lot safer and cared for . I'm sold ! read more

The HiiP is definitely going to make you sweat and possibly shake lol. I tried it for the first time but definitely was not ready and had to take a lot of breaks, but was very proud of myself after! I plan on returning when I get a bit stronger. I was sore for a week. Super encouraging woman instructor and would come around and help with form without making you feel judged. Great environment! read more

Been to G50 twice now with Jose! First off, love that there's free parking in the plaza - always a plus. Secondly, great space - doesn't feel cramped! I thoroughly enjoyed Jose's class - it was a good challenge & I liked how engaging he is throughout the class. He actually goes around and makes sure your posture is correct & proactively helps with fixing it. Overall, this studio is worth a shot if you wanna try it out! read more

WOW! I had such a great work out that I purposefully found them on Yelp just to share the experience. Jennifer was the teacher for the Tuesday 7am class. She was so inspirational to make sure nobody would give up and keep going but in a really motivating and sweet way. I woke up this morning and my whole body is so so sore. I consider myself to be somewhat in-shape but the tiny movement really rocked me. I can't wait to sign up again! They have the reformer machines outside at the moment and no masks required read more

Mind boggling 50 minute workout that truly targets your core with "high intensity interval pilates." It was a humbling experience. I rested frequently due to the targeting of muscles that I rarely worked out despite training with ab and core workouts. It's all done on machines that provide tension based on springs much like a Pilates reformer. I've done a lot of training on reformers in the past and this was easily the most challenging because there was no hiding from using my clearly weak core. Since it was my first session, the owner Glenn made sure to makes hands on adjustments and encourage me without pushing too hard. This workout is exactly what most people need, especially me. The G50 Studio moved and has validated paring. It's now located at: 8474 W 3rd Street Los Angeles, CA 90048 read more

So far so good. I think I have close to ten classes under my belt and I won't stop there. I have tried Jose, Erica, Alex & Glenn's classes -- all of them offering a different style workout. It had been a while since I worked out, and they have all been helpful in the process. I come from an athletic background, so I appreciate the cues they offer and the minor tweaks to make sure you are 1. Maximizing your movement & 2. Aren't opening yourself to injury. I definitely recommend trying a class, as it's slightly different than other Pilates I've been to. read more

Absolutely LOVE this Pilates studio and the instructors!!! I had not worked out in a very long time and they were so patient and knowledgeable with me. The instructors are highly skilled and show personalized attention to ensure proper form and technique. The studio itself is spacious, clean and well-equipped, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all levels of fitness. I have been coming for almost a month now and feel SOO amazing! And already seeing results!! I would highly recommend coming here for anyone looking for a challenging and rejuvenating workout experience! read more

I am not one to write bad reviews because of the impact they can have to small businesses, but this was unfortunately the poorest workout class I've taken, and I can't shake it. I tried to call the studio but I go straight to a voicemail that tells me to text. I've texted and no one has responded. I love trying out new fitness studios around LA, and I love Pilates and Lagree, so I was really looking forward to trying out G:50 because it bills itself as a "HIIT Pilates" workout. There was no "HIIT" to it and it ended up just being a lackluster Lagree workout. I didn't break a sweat or get my heart rate up. Immediately I got the sense that my Trainer (I won't use her name) wasn't very strong just based on her presence and how she commanded the class. She gave very little cuing, she'd get lost instructing the class when she became focused on correcting a single person, and I found it unique that she had us hold stretches for a long time - I think each was around a full minute - during the course of the class. But what really bothered me is that she didn't seem to be a very knowledgeable Trainer in terms of the method and the body. Without getting too detailed, she basically adjusted my alignment in a way that was improper and would have put stress on my knee (I subtly adjusted myself back when she walked away because I didn't want to be rude). She also adjusted me on another exercise in way that made the exercise easier, but I don't think she knew that. The Largee method has a name for each exercise and it's one method that uses those names pretty consistently and universally, and at the end of class she demo'ed a move but called it the wrong thing. It's a small detail but after everything else that had happened it made me realize that she might not be properly trained, or was trained improperly. At the end of class we were in Child's Pose and I had no idea that class was over because she never announced it so I sat in Child's Pose while others around me started doing their own movements. I had to ask the woman next to me if we were done. She didn't give instructions on where to find wipes or say thank you. It was such an abruptly strange ending to a poor experience and workout. It was such a bummer. read more

Jose is the best. Got in amazing shape here fast while in Los Angeles. HIIT and pilates. I went early morning and parking was easy.

G:50 is one of the most unique pilates studio in LA. Their route is HIIP (high intensity interval pilates) and let me tell you, it is no joke! The that it tones your back and abs with such minimal (but totally hard as f moves) is beyond me. Classes are open to all levels but I do have some personal recommendations: for beginner clients, Will is a fabulous teacher. Not only is he totally hilarious but his corrections are always on point and were crucial for someone like me when I was first starting out. This is because he has a his vast background in different fitness modalities. For more advanced clients, try Glenn's class (he's the owner and creator) or Jason's class (he's a crossfitter so knows how to mix some hardcore strength training into the routines. As a whole, all of the teachers are extremely attentive and make a point of providing everyone in the room with ample attention. So whatever you're doing right now, STOP RIGHT NOW, and go sign up for G:50 before their intro offer disappears. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! And if you're in a good karma kind of mood, help a chick out and please tell the desk that Rebecca Peaslee's Yelp review brought you into the studio Happy toning ;) read more

G:50 - Pilates Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I checked out this spot through class pass this morning. Wanted to see if it would be as challenging as other places that use the megaformer. Although there were some moves in the session that hit the right spot I didn't really break a sweat. The instructor did do some minor adjustments if she saw that students were not doing movement correctly. I was looking for more core than leg work. read more

I have been attending classes here for about a year now and absolutely love it. All the instructors are great! The music is always fun and there is a good energy. I've taken classes at other Pilates studios and have never found one as good as G:50. The parking is convenient too! Definitely would recommend this studio to anyone up for a challenging and effective class read more

G50 has been phenomenal in reopening safely. I feel unbelievably comfortable each time i go. Workout is just as amazing but it's now outdoors and it feels so good to be back. read more

The workouts are challenging and instructors push you. I love the studio and how they make you feel comfortable even if you are a beginner. The Pilates is more cardio heavy rather than weight heavy. Glenn, Jose, and Vanessa are my favorite instructors. read more

Worst experience ever! Took this class for a few months back in 2020. I witnessed the owner Glenn being overly aggressive and somewhat of a bully in class. So, truthfully, I haven't missed it. Rather, I have my own private personal trainer now. I was at another gym yesterday, sitting outside after my hour long spin class, minding my own business and he comes up to me and starts YELLING at me in a very aggressive, bully tone. He then YELLS in front of everyone about his impression of my work out or lack of. He then continues to yell as he's leaving. It was beyond unprofessional; it was shocking, inappropriate, borderline harassment and humiliating. Beware of the owner. read more

My favorite Pilates studio!! I've only taken classes with Vanessa and Glenn and they're both incredible. Really helped me with my form and Glenn pointed out my weak points, which has honestly changed my life as no other trainer has ever emphasized that to me. I'm now targeting spots on my body that I realized I barely use and I'm starting to build out that mind body connection because of the corrections they've pointed out to me. I drive 30 minutes on the weekends just to go to this studio because it's that great of a workout. Could not recommend this studio enough! read more

I would like to end this year w a few words of gratitude. I am grateful for the community of classmates at the G:50 studio, especially to Glenn who is the owner and my instructor. We r 15 participants in his class, yet he has the uncanny ability to zero in on each one of us and adjust a move he feels needs to b corrected In the coming year, I look forward to getting my body in the best shape it can b and w Glenn's guidance, I know I can achieve my goal I would like to wish all a healthy, joyous and prosperous New Year! That's a wrap! read more

I came here for a few classes because my friend had referred me. I took Zoey's classes, loved her. Her workouts got me the good kind of sore the next day! Depending on the day she'll focus more on your core or give you more of a leg workout, she definitely mixes up the routine so its not the same thing all the time. Minus 2 stars because of their silly contract. I purchased the unlimited pass for $99 and tried to cancel it because I ended up not going anymore because I live in Manhattan Beach and its a drive. I tried to call and cancel it and they said I would still be charged for the next month because I did not cancel 15 days in advanced! I explained to them that I have not even gone in since I purchased the pass and they still were considerate. They said that they charge you 15 days in advance to the day you start your plan and they can't do anything about. How does that even make sense?! I was planning on coming back here once my schedule frees up again but No Thanks! READ THE FINE PRINT! read more

Not sure if this is the correct one, don't think so though. Trying to review g:50 Culver City on overland. Went to Jose's class. It was fun! Love the new machines. Great deals and prices right now since it's new. Street parking only, watch out for signs. read more

I love this studio. I feel like its putting my body back together. Thank you I am so grateful.

Tried G50 for the first time. I passed by a few times and always wondering how it is since the studio is in a commercial space. The parking lot cross street was full. Usually without validation is free for 2 hours, but it was easy to find a parking spot around side streets. The studio has a very different layout. The reception area is in the back. They sell candles, supplements, and activewear. The room is spacious and bright. The mirrored wall on one side and the other side has interesting artworks. My first time to use a different kind of reformer, they told me it was called Gformer. I'm not sure they were any different or better than regular pilates machines. Same functions and more strings. The instructor was super fun and good. The class was not hard and the routine worked out the whole body. Overall, highly recommend G50. read more

I'm advanced in pilates, and my back and friends back hurt after this class. Her repetitions are too long. The weights are very heavy, which is great. But then she should spend a bit less less time on each exercise. read more

I wa looking to find a new Pilates Studio and I found G-50 I'm so happy I did. I'm a bit older but I still feel I can go @ my own pace. I'm really enjoying this place. WARNING THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! They incorrectly charged my card, and when I have asked to speak with the manager to fix it, they never responded. This place only cares about money and does not care about their customers. Love this studio its the real deal. Glenn's the best. After going several weeks I decided to join unlimited. I feel great and every day I feel I am getting stronger mentally and physically. I highly recommend G50 read more

Awful experience. Glenn is miserable and should not be in the health and wellness industry. He is rude sarcastic and cold. I went for the first time and No one greeted me. No one walked me through instructions on using the reformer. When I told him It was my first time he gave me the rudest tone and simply told me to put my things away. . I don't understand how you can start a class without helping first-timers. It's a liability issue waiting to happen. read more

G50 is probably the best workout in LA. I swear my Glenn, and am a cult follower. I just wish I had more time to go to his classes. His workouts are effective and very focused. He's truly a master and knows how to form a body. After just two classes I notice a difference in my body. read more

I am NEVER one to reach out to ruins someone's business. i fact I love the classes. Love the instructors, best workout there is. In addition, I am a loyal customer who recommends G-50 to everyone I know, UNTIL NOW and people need to know why. Unfortunately, I had been repeatedly charged automatic payments when I hadn't attended and been out of the country without being informed of it, and when I had complained to the manager, there was only a TINY thing he can do to accomadate me; not give me my money back or credit me towards another month, but wanted me to also PURCHASE ANOTHER MONTH, in which will be discounted only a slight amount - only for one month. Disgusting how this business works, I have been cheated of my money and i'm sure so many other clients are also being charged without knowing and aren't getting their money back. I was a loyal customer who attended over 130 classes at G-50, 3-4 times per week, everyone at the studio knows me, and i've recommended over 10 friends to the studio. To say something like this about my favorite studio really shows defeated and deceived I feel by the manager. He doesn't deserve my money, and doesn't deserve yours either. Instead of losing $100 in a discounted month package, he lost the thousands of dollars I could have contributed myself and by recommendations. read more

I had such a great experience with this class! Marcy was filling in for the regular instructor this morning at 11:30am and was AMAZING. She was very motivating and great at correcting form. This is an amazing workout. I live just a few blocks away so I figured I should try it. This workout is HARD! I exercise frequently but this was unlike anything I've done. I have taken classes with 4 different teachers and enjoyed all of them. I have attended Glenn's class regularly for a couple years, maybe more. His credentials are unmatched!! I have very unstable knee issues and Glenn has helped me through since day one to today. I love to get my butt kicked, or I feel like I've wasted my time/money. Glenn kicks it each and every time. He watches my form and corrects me as needed, pushes me when I slack, and encourages me when I'm on point, again each and every time, even after years of attendance. I haven't had the opportunity to take class from some of the other instructors yet but I trust Glenn to have a great team! If you want a "kick your butt", "no joke", "shaking muscles", "6 pack abs" workout come to G:50 Pilates BootCamp!! read more

I actually walked past this studio and was interested in trying it out. A few days later, one of my friends invited me to go on ClassPass. I liked it so much that I went back two weekends in a row. Now, I signed up for a membership. It's a kick ass class. I would highly recommend Glenn. I've only taken Pilates about five times and I've become a big fan. Glenn corrected my posture many times and you REALLY feel it in your core/legs. read more

I am a true Reformer novice. Sure, I did some mat/heated Pilates classes, but I wouldn't dare go near a Reformer Machine. The machine was so intimidating to me, I would opt out of working out with my friends until G:50 was recommended by a friend via ClassPass. Our instructor, Will, was so patient with me and took time to show me proper posture and positioning. He made me feel confident in my workout and nocked the fear right out of me! Got a great workout and definitely broke a sweat. My muscles could still feel the burn a few day later. I can't wait to go again. Maybe even sign up for a membership! read more
