This is the best lagree type of workout in downtown. I've tried many studio and this one is the best. It also has some extra cardio on top of the traditional lagree. The costumer service is great, and the gym is rarely crowded. I personally think it's better than lagree 213

I've been here twice now via ClassPass and they offer a very challenging, slow-burn to muscle failure sort of resistance workout. The focus is core, but they manage to squeeze in a pretty comprehensive, low-impact, full-body routine. It's tough, and I leave feeling spent but incredibly accomplished. Also, I really appreciate the mini stretching session at the end of class. The studio has changing rooms and towels. The coaches are very friendly and offer motivation as well as form corrections. It's a great addition to my workout routine and has easily become a favorite!

I initially tried Coreology on ClassPass and found the routine very disjointed but when The Row was running a two week free pass I decided to try it again. I took about 10 classes over the past two weeks and tried a variety of teachers so I have a good assessment of the studio. Pros: - Easy and free parking! They validate which giving you two free hours and enough time to grab a coffee after class - Location, The Row is still developing but lots of great shops and restaurants in the shopping area Cons: - The instructors do not write their own routines thus every single routine felt the same to me. Every class we did saw at the back of machine, then the front, three days in a row we did the same arm exercise. The x-formers are unique machines so it felt very lazy to be repeat several exercises every class -It seems like management also sets the music, all the playlists were very similar (slow songs, limited lyrics, with tech beats over it). It was painful to listen to for 50 minute classes - Most of the instructors didn't introduce themselves by name at beginning of class Overall the lack of individuality from the instructors was disappointing, half the reason you regularly attend a class is for the instructor/music and I feel like we don't get to see any of their personalities' at Coreology. In addition, I didn't find the workouts as challenging as other reformer studios in LA.

I signed up online to try a trial class at Core Bungee, and the booking process made it seem like…read morethe intro class was simply a "try it" session. At no point during sign-up or check-in did it clearly state that the trial would be paid, which was a bit confusing. After the initial 30-minute intro, the owner, Star, let me know the trial was $25 and offered a package of 3 classes for $69 and would wave the into class fee. I decided to go ahead and give it a fair shot and purchased the package. I returned the next day for a full class, but unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. The harness felt uncomfortable in certain areas, and the class itself didn't feel very cohesive. It may have been partly because it was a smaller group and adjustments were being made, but overall it didn't feel like the right workout fit. I let Star know right after class that I wouldn't be continuing and asked if a partial refund might be possible since I had only used one session. She kindly offered alternatives like Zumba or yoga classes, but since I already have access to those elsewhere, I declined. A refund wasn't offered. This review isn't about the money--it's more about transparency and customer experience. I would recommend clearly stating upfront that the intro class is paid, so there are no surprises. That said, if you're curious about bungee fitness, it could still be worth trying to see if it's a good fit for you.

And I've been too many of them. What makes this one special is the attention to detail and the very personal customer service. The studio is extremely clean, I mean, impeccably. All of the towels smell fresh, all of the floors are freshly polished. Everything smells delightful. The sauna is top notch. It has a large infrared light bar, but it also has very strong, infrared light around the sauna otherwise, and on the ceiling of the sauna as well. and this one, you are also able to adjust it to other types of light such as blue, green, Amber, etc.You are also to control your own levels of heat. There is a television with prepaid Amazon prime channels. The Bluetooth speaker inside the sauna is loud and crisp, and of course you can control the levels and channels with the remote. The gentleman who helped me is named Ken. He gave me a nice tour of the studio upon arrival, and then showed me how to operate everything. He was extremely helpful and kind.Another nice thing is this sauna is very large. I was literally able to stretch out and recline. I think this will be my go to infrared sauna spot.

I've been a member since the Gold's Gym days, and I'll be honest--the first 10 photos uploaded don't really reflect the current downtown location. Maybe one or two, but I definitely don't recognize "The Yard" since this gym doesn't have that much space, and those photos look like they were taken at a different place. Also, I've noticed a decline in membership since the changeover. At least to me, it feels like a lot fewer people are coming here. I remember when it used to be packed during peak hours, but it doesn't seem as busy anymore. I can't speak too much to the machines since I mostly use the swimming pool area, but in that regard, I'm actually happier with EOS than I was with Gold's Gym. Under Gold's, I felt like they didn't maintain the pool floor well or keep the water temperature consistent. There were days when the pool was freezing cold, but people still had to swim through it just to get their workout in. Other days, the water was cloudy with debris, which wasn't great. But it's been much better temperature-wise and how clean the pool has been under the new ownership. On a more minor note, the jacuzzi could use some attention too. It looks a bit grimy, with buildup on the tiles, and I'm not sure if it's being cleaned regularly. Hopefully, the management will see this review and do something about it. Otherwise, I still use the Jacuzzi after a good swim, but it's pretty off-putting seeing how it's not as maintained as the lap pool. Overall, it's still a bit early to fully judge the gym, so I'm sticking with a 3-star rating for now. It's just "OK" at this point. But I'm hopeful they'll prove me wrong and improve things moving forward.

Oh, and just so you're aware. The gym that's featured on some of these images aren't even from this location. They probably took pictures of their best locations on a day they were closed and clean to advertise here. The main image is not EōS in Downtown LA. This should be reported as false advertisement. Fortunately... my membership comes through my employer so I only hear about these horror stories when it comes to billing. Trust me... EōS is the bottom of the map when it comes to gyms as far as LA. At least Planet Fitness gives you a heads up, and kind of lets you know that they're more of a budget experience. This gym is total crap. Go check my images and posts. I've never seen so many broken and malfunctioning machines in my 42 years of life! Do not come to this dirty dump.

I'd had a bad experience at the Pasadena studio with a girl named Megan, so I decided to try a different location, and I'm so glad I did. This studio is waaaay cleaner. The mat towels smelled fresh, everything felt sanitized, and the space was clearly well taken care of. My instructor, Jimmy, delivered an amazing workout, he incorporated moves I've never seen before and actually walked around correcting form, which is rare in larger fitness classes.
