They placed their clearance items in the front of the store which is convenient before getting to the back of the store. The only reason why I didn't give this store a full 5 is the staffing issues they are dealing with. The teenagers are young but they haven't been fully trained to do their job before the store opened. It's ok though the manager is doing her best. One of the staff members mentioned they are doing interviews in the back so maybe in some months the store's customer service will be a littler better. I love the self scanning system too! I will definitely come back here!

I passed by a store called BAM! and it conjured up visions of Emeril Lagasse but the only resemblance this store has to Emeril is that it sells cookbooks. Little did I know that BAM! Is short for Books-A-Million and this store has plenty of books, stationary, puzzles and other gifty items. Preferring to listen to audio books, I'm not one for physical books but this store had some lovely displays and vignettes that sucked me in. Although not as large as Barnes & Noble there is still a very healthy selection of well organized merchandise. There was something very nostalgic and cozy about browsing in this store. Overall, a nice experience.

They have a huge new space on the lower level of Montgomery Mall. The outfits are displayed nicely. I really liked how their advertising pictures displayed how the Lululemon product could be worn for all shapes and sizes. I also was surprised that not all of the outfits were skin tight. Those days have passed me by. lol. : ) I was asked if I needed any help right away, so service was good. The price point is on the higher side. But, I understand that their clothing wears like iron. So, you will have it for a while. I would like to comeback with my granddaughter's and see what they like. But, overall I was impressed and will definitely come back when I have more time.

So after looking around and finding a spot, I headed out. Made my way here and the area was still reeling from the storm that rolled through. The parking lot was a mess and even though they had just opened, they were jammed. I found one of the remaining parking spots near the store and made my way inside. I was expecting a rather expansive area on the inside only to find out that it is much smaller. Not usually a problem, but when it came to browsing, it made for a much more bothersome experience. I would spot an item, want to take a look at it and then promptly be pushed out of the way with another customer with a cart. I was beginning to get frustrated when I decided that I would give it another go. I came here to find an item to put my remotes in and kept going through the housewares section. I had in mind what I wanted, couldn't quite find it. When I did, you could tell it was cheaply made with the Goodwill mark up. I was about to give up when I spotted the endcaps filled with random items. I saw one particular piece and decided this would fit the bill until something else might come along. I quickly went through the clothing but when it comes to clothing for men, this place is severely lacking. Compared to the women's section, it is about quarter the size. Checking out was fast. I paid for my purchase and was back outside.

This store like most was extremely clean and organized perfectly. I'm not sure why this one is keeping a mask mandate in place, when it's no longer a thing in Maryland. For some shoppers I would be careful. I have some friends who won't go into stores with this mandate in place. I contemplated this. In the end I decided to just go buy my candles. The ladies in the store were very friendly and happy to help me spend money:) they were very gracious with a coupon I had as well. I always enjoy walking out of BBW and felling like I got a great deal.

Shopping nearby I decided to stop in here and see if maybe I could find some frames and make those dreams of mine come true. Short story here, I didn't. They were having a sale on frames, but it appeared that everyone else had the same idea as I did, or maybe they all needed the same size as I did. Each area I would go to the size I needed was gone. With Michaels being one of the few stores where everything they have is on the shelves, I was out of luck here. I have to say, I was amazed, however, with the way they were able to cram a whole store into this space. It is not your conventional setup for a Michaels and they somehow managed to get the whole store in here.
