    Mozzarella Beignets

Fuxia is actually a really good Italian joint located pretty central to nearly everything. Recently had been walking by and I figured I'd try this place out, didn't disappoint whatsoever. The service is actually quite friendly and very prompt and the establishment itself is charming and a great spot for to people watch. The lasagna is delicious and the mozzarella beignets are awesome. As a nice added touch, the balsamic vinegar and olive oil are separate spray bottles that you can spray on your food, very clever. Overall, not a bad option if you're craving Italian food. Pros- Food Service Location People watching Olive oil and balsamic dispensing Promptness Price Friendly Cons- Can be tough to get a table Crowded

Looking to grab dinner close to our hotel we decided to try Fuxia after walking around to check out the options. Started off with a bottle of wine followed by Linguine Pastore for me and Lasagne for Boyfriend. My meal did not impress plus the service was awful. In the end, I would not return.

I'm glad that I didn't know this was a chain (albeit a small one) or see the lackluster existing reviews on Yelp before going in here, because either bit of information would have discouraged me from entering. Apparently my aversion to chains is only on the surface; I unknowingly failed a blind taste test. I have to give Fuxia a 5 star review because of the amazing chevre (goat cheese) pesto lasagne I had. It was amazingly delicious. It came with a boring salad and standard french baguette on the side. I'm still thinking about how delicious the lasagne was. It's touristy for sure, but the waitstaff is nice, and they speak English. Service is quick. I'm going to have to brush off my aversion to chains and come back here soon.

Popped into Fuxia for un verre, but was enticed by their beautiful salads! I chose their Millefeuille with chèvre, roasted tomato and aubergine, Yum! I will definitely be returning!

Sizable portions, reasonable prices, and a diverse menu. We were drawn in by the smell and are so happy we did. Best pasta I've had in Paris so far.

I ordered Penne del Sud which is a pleasant and tasty surprise. Good setting next to our hotel.

Rigatoni 4 Formaggi Delicious! Wish it had a bit more sauce though

We had the Rigatoni 4 Formaggi and the Scaloppine Milanese and they were both delicious!!! The service was only 3.5 stars, we had to ask numerous times for our water and a plate for the oil and bread. Overall very happy with the food though!

The place is very cute. Service was great. Good was ok. We had insalata melanzane. It was delicious. It come on the top of a very thin bread that was very tasty. For the entree we had scalop prosciutto. The veal was very hard and dry. I didn't like it at all. The coffee came with three little deserts. Panacota, tiramisu and chocolate cake. All very good. I think they call cafe gourmand.

Every restaurant setup around this neighborhood felt romantic and had a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. Pebble stone streets elevated that effect. We walked-in around eight when the place was packed and were politely told to return in 30 mins which is when we were promptly seating on our very cozy table. Service was top-notch the minute we walked in this kid-friendly place. Our order was Burrata con parma o verdure, Risotto alle capesante, and Linguine Pollo e Funghi. Food arrived within 30-mins of ordering, and noise levels were on the lower end. Friendly staff, excellent service, and an on-the-house dessert left us very happy and pleased with the overall experience! Highly recommended!

Excellent small restaurant that's an offshoot of the bigger Ristorante al Caratello right across…read morethe street. It's more intimate, but I think has essentially the same menu (and you can also order pizza from Pizza Caratello next door). We came here twice (because it was so close to our hotel, and we enjoyed it so much the first time). I got the Rigatoni Amatriciana the first time, which was cooked to a perfect al dente and tasted great. The second time, I got a Pizza Napoletana, which was also excellent -- really nice crust. For dessert, I got the Flute Limoncello, which was very refreshing, especially given how warm a day it was. Service was very friendly and attentive. I heard a lot of Italian being spoken by staff, so it seemed pretty legit. I would highly recommend this place over the nearby Le Chinon, in terms of food and service.

I stumbled across it for the first time last May on vacation and was blown away. The place is small and cozy - and located down a cute residential street in Montmartre so away from the crowds. I hesitate to write this review as once this is discovered it'll be tough to get a table, but it's heartbreaking to walk a couple blocks away after a delicious meal and see the crowds eating at the many tourist restaurants in Montmartre totally oblivious to the culinary perfection so nearby! Now on to the food - I came here first last May and had Pesto Penne which I have dreamed about ever since then. Back in Paris again in January, I returned to have a squid ink spaghetti creation that I'm not sure can ever be topped. I love Italian food and have spent a lot of time in Italy and it's my go-to food in the U.S., and this restaurant is simply the best. Finally, the owner is incredibly awesome! He comes out to our table with a handwritten menu and explains all the dishes - everything is handmade and perfect! I wish I could give this 1,000 stars, seriously. If you are staying in Montmartre (or anywhere in Paris) you owe it to yourself to come here!!!!
