I'm not understanding the hype of this store. Wanted to shop small and buy my son soccer cleats…read more Walked in there was only one guy working said he had a TON of different cleats. Brought me out white and pink or white and orange and said that's all he had. Didn't offer to help with sizing or anything just threw them out on a bench. My son was like whatever I'll take the white and orange. We got in the car and went to go run an errand and decided to look online. Were able to find a pair that was a darker color for half the price online. Went back to return the white ones after our errand there's a different guy there. He's like umm did you wear these in a rude way. Needless to say I'll be going elsewhere for our soccer merch. Also there's only metered parking out front which is annoying. All the other businesses around have a lot.

We've always had a fantastic experience here and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Yes, they often do not have a ton roaming around to help (not that they don't want to, but I just feel like they're often understaffed) but if you go up to the checkout counter to ask a question or request assistance, they will help you out immediately and with a smile. The store is also a large location and inventory is great. This location is a bit out of the way for us and further than other Big 5 locations, but we always know that they are going to have anything we need. The store is also well laid out so you can easily find what you need quickly. It's never messy when we go, despite what other people say on here, and it's just an all around good shopping experience. Honestly, if they were able to staff up a bit to have a few more employees roaming the floor outside of the shoe department, I would give this location 5 stars. Maybe I've been lucky on the dozen or so times I've been here, but I see no reason to complain about this location at all.
