I cannot stress enough the poor customer service at this dealership. I strongly advise anyone to do themselves a favor and drive to Selma or anywhere else but avoid this dealership at all cost. I leased a Sedona from here and had many problems with it and was given misleading information by the sales team and more specifically the manager Michael Stafford that cost me not only a lot of money but more than 100 hours of time trying to rectify a problem the dealership should have handled just so that it did not negatively impact my credit. On 5 separate occasions between 2015 and 2017 I turned to this dealership (and ended up dealing with Michael) in attempt to solve various issues pertaining to my lease. We had significant mechanical/safety issues with the power sliding doors that we were tired of bringing in for service amongst other concerns. I ignorantly turned to the dealership to guide me and dealt with Michael each time. In the beginning his offense was simple failure to follow up and return my calls when he had promised to after spending a total of about 8 hours in the actual dealership looking into my options. One of those times I thought we had found a solution and I was in the process of buying a new Sedona to replace my lease making it to the finance guy only to realize that the price I had agreed to was not the price on the contract I was to sign. I decided at that point I was done trying to give my business to them and had nothing to do with them again until I was nearing the end of my lease and decided to end the lease a little bit early as I had a family road trip planned and could not drive my van due to the door issue flaring up again and finding a good deal on a used Ford. I called the lease end customer service who advised me to have any outstanding warranty work completed prior to turning in the lease so I was not charged for it. I made an appointment during that call for the following Monday and I hoped to have everything squared away by Friday when I was to leave for my trip. When my husband brought the van in for the work, there was no record of an appointment but the service department accepted the van anyway. That Friday I called the dealership to find out about the status of the work and to find out how it would work with signing over the lease as I wanted to get it taken care of as soon as possible. In hindsight this was a big mistake but, not having dealt with a lease before I (ignorantly) turned to the dealership thinking they would provide me with accurate information. I was referred to manager Michael (again) who told me that I could "come on in and sign". I repeated what the "lease end" people told me about having the work done prior to ending the lease and he assured me that I could "come in any time and sign" to end the lease. So I did. At that same time I removed my personal belongings from the van and made arrangements to bring in the headrests which we had removed to accommodate child seats. It was a that time I learned the van had not been touched. I did not know this would later become a nightmare requiring me to lose over 100 hours of work trying to rectify. Upon returning from my family trip I contacted the "lease end" people to find out what I owed on the van so that I could get it taken care of. I was horrified to learn I was not only being charged for the warranty work but also the headrests (which had been returned) in addition to the other charges. The reason for this was because they inspected the van prior to the work being done and the headrests being returned. It took 3 trips to the dealership and over 100 hours on the phone with various Kia personnel to rectify. The options I was given were to pay the money, spend the time going between the dealership and the finance people, or have it negatively impact my credit. All of this because Michael gave me inaccurate information. So, do yourself a favor and avoid this place or you may be sorry. read more

This place service Center sucks. I will never buy a Kia and specially not from Kia of Clovis. I have new car from them it broke down left me Stranded on the side of road Had to tow it with my insurance they had it since Saturday it's not now Friday and they still ain't done with it. They didn't give me rental or loaner which I think they should it's a fucking new car and it's fucking up already don't buy Kia and Specially Kia of Clovis don't buy from Kia of Clovis. Do not EVER expect the service department to make you a priority. Under any circumstance! I called Saturday nov 30th explaining that my car is surging and wanting to plow into vehicles in front of me and the soonest I get is 12/10. After explaining to them I have to drive from CLOVIS TO SF for my blind/autistic daughters apt we waited 5 months for. They STILL couldnt make us a priority. We were offered to bring the car in but they weren't sure when they could get to it. So here I have a 2018 sorento, PAID CASH FOR FROM CLOVIS KIA, AND their service dept doesnt make my or my children's lives a priority. Their Corporate office cannot do anything either as they dont own or operate their dealers. This is a crock of shit if I ever seen one! Sincerely the lady who loved her kia until she delt with future kia service dept! read more

I have bought a car off the lot before it wasn't the greatest experience but with Roy at future Kia of Clovis I had a great experience answered all my questions help me get the new K5 GT line and set up a lot of the features of the car I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a Kia to ask for Roy read more

This dealership is garbage. It's management is garbage. They sold me a screwed up car. Be careful shopping at this place because if they get over on you they'll just stiff you if call them out on it. I had to call the Federal Trade Commission. read more

My husband and I took a drive to Clovis From the Tulare Visalia area to see a vehicle advertised online. I believe our Salesman's name was Steve. We ended up finding a different car on the lot we liked and bought it on the spot. This was a zero hassle transaction and the process was easy and stress free. The salesman was friendly and not pushy or deceptive. They accepted our offer and the doc signing was very fast and easy and we drove home in our new truck happy. We later noticed we left something behind in our trade in and we called and the salesman had already removed it and was in the process of mailing it to us. This was a relief as it was a very sentimental item. We are happy to recommend Future Kia! read more

I received two notices of needed repairs to my Kia Optima due to "recall" issues. I also had an issue take place with a message on my display (went off too quickly to read) and now my heater isn't working. I go online to make an appointment three weeks ago and I can't get in until today. I sucked it up and figured okay, holidays and weekends, etc. I go in to take my car to get the needed repairs and while the female attendant is completing my paperwork, she says it will be $350.00 to diagnose the heater. "WHAT?". I don't care how busy you are, what issues your dealership is having, how many technicians you do, or do not, have on hand. $350.00 to "diagnose" an issues is absolute robbery and the most dishonest thing I have heard of recently. I almost lost my breakfast. Obviously, I rejected the service. In completing the paperwork she then says it will be $175.00 to "diagnose" the display message. I said, "wait a minute. You want $175.00 to diagnose the message and $350.00 to diagnose the heater issue?" $525.00 before I even give her the keys. This is not the first time I have had issues with this dealership; my third actually and had service issues then too. I have already decided I would never own another Kia (terrible cars). But if I did somehow come to own one, I would drive all the way to Selma to have any work done. Kia gouges you because they are the only dealership in the area. I don't mind paying a small diagnostic fee to find out what is wrong, but this is simply nuts. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Service is something they do not have. read more

Amazing service and knowledge from Derek Jones. We spent quite a bit of time and I feel like I was very educated on the Telluride I purchased. Went here to look at getting a newer used car. The guy who let us test drive was constantly cutting us off and kind of a snob. I managed to find the same vehicle elsewhere for a better price and newer, so definitely business lost. I highly suggest listening to your customers versus cutting them off and acting like a know it all. Sorry ‍ read more

I had to send my car to get fixed due to an accident that happened, they initially went to fix what was wrong with it, then all of a sudden my catalytic converters went out(for the third time since buying it brand new off the lot) tell me it's an extra $2,000 to fix it and I'm better off just buying a new car(I was looking around that day at cars just looking) even tho that's the recall issue on the car and Kia should have covered it. Once I tell them my insurance is going to cover it and go ahead and fix it the price is now $3,000 for it. Had an issue with my terrible insurance company taking forger to cut the check and decided they're not going to(issue with the insurance company that's being resolved) but now Kia says if I don't pay the almost $4,000 in 24 hours they're going to lien my car. I'm getting the issue resolved but asked if I can at least get my grandmothers ashes I have on a neck less in there and my school books and they refused to let me get that, he was rude and was like you owe us over $3,000 you can't get anything out of the car I tell him what I need to get while in tears and he refused to let me get it, my grandmothers ashes for goodness sake. Kia is a joke. Especially this Kia dealership. read more

I had a recall notice come in the mail about my Kia Optima so I called and scheduled an appointment to get it serviced. They were only two weeks out for appointments so that wasn't bad but I live 30 minutes away from this dealership so I had to take a day off from work for this appointment. Fast forward, I show up for the appointment and the worker was really nice however, he informed me that the part for the recall was not in stock so I would have to wait a few more weeks for it to come in and to reschedule. This is why they are receiving only 1 star, for the reason that I was not informed about this BEFORE I drove 30 minutes and took a whole day off from work for this appointment. A courtesy call informing me about the part not being in stock and having to reschedule would've prevented this whole review. I work in customer service and I understand not everyone can be satisfied, this just sucks. Probably going to try another Kia dealership if my car were to have future issues. read more

I can't speak to the sales side of Future Kia but the service side is absolutely ridiculous and something I would never recommend. Unfortunately my car broke down as I was traveling through Fresno on a Friday afternoon. Since I do not know the area I went with the recommendation of Kia Roadside Assistance, since I figured taking a KIA to a KIA dealership can only be of advantage. The car was towed from Madera to Clovis. I drove that distance several times during the weekend, so I do know how long it takes. By the time I called them at 4:30 PM to inquire about next steps supposedly my car had not yet arrived, which was later disputed by the tow truck driver. Now I think nobody wanted to bother at 4:30 PM on Friday afternoon. I was told I would receive a call back. I never did. So I called back the next morning and was told the person was not there yesterday so what did they know. When the answer should have been "let me find out" or "let me check". They finally did and I was told that diagnosis would be $170. I agreed to this and also asked whether the fee would be applied to any repairs needed if I chose to do them. The answer was "well if we have to repair it the cost will be higher." I replied that I understood this but I wanted to clarify whether the diagnosis fee would be credited towards any repairs. I received the scripted answer again. I do not know if the person truly didn't understand what I was asking or was assuming because I am a woman I must be stupid. After a couple of go rounds I gave up on this question and asked for a timeline on getting the car serviced. The answer? "We're appointment-based and we're pretty booked and appointments take precedence." I said I understood but they must be able to give me some type of timeline, especially since I am not local and needed to know if I needed to make arrangements for alternate transportation. "I just told you we're appointment-based.... and today is a short day." So after a few rounds of that I gave up on that as well since I was at this point really trying to not have my entire weekend ruined. We settled with I would receive a call as soon as possible. A bit after 3 PM I finally received a call back (they close at 4) to check in with me because they thought I was going to have the car picked up? So at this point I was pissed. I was then told a mechanic was available right then and they'd take a look at the car right away. That didn't happen and I had no more contact with them that day. So now I had to wait all the way till Monday to get an update. To not drag this on the car is totaled. But the saga did not end there, o no. I had to go back to Fresno the following weekend to remove my personal items because nobody would talk to me in time for me to do it the weekend it broke. In the week leading up to it I spoke with the dealership a couple of times, including on the day I went there personally to pick up the belongings to tell them I donated the car and when it would be picked up. Well, this morning the dealership did not release the vehicle. read more

Robert did a great job. Very happy with his customer service. Very helpful and did everything he could to get me the best deal. Recommend!

My mom, her boyfriend, and I all bought new cars here. Usually, I cant stand buying a car because of all the bargaining and lack of service. However, Terry was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. Plus, him and Adam (the manager) gave a fair and competitive price. They're running a business like everyone else, but they aren't trying to rip people off. They practice good ethics and have integrity. They continued with the excellent service even after the deal was all done. Just good people...even the finance manager, hector, was friendly and fast. I will recommend this dealership to everyone. My only regret is not getting the upgraded Kia Optima EX or SX. Love my LX though. read more

So far the salesmen have been very polite and not pushy. I intend to buy a new car as going forward I will be putting a lot of miles on the car so I need a good deal. They didn't use any of the regular, "this deal wont be here tomorrow" stuff which I respect. read more

My husband hated my car. So I had some free time and went to look at Used cars on the lot. I met Tony Flores and he was so knowledgeable, kind and understanding. Best of all he wasn't arrogant or rude. After looking at some potential cars he didn't pressure me to buy or test drive. The next day returning for test drives he was able to get me a brand new car instead of a used one. The whole process was painless and enjoyable. Thank you Tony! We love our new car! read more

Kia service. Ths is my very first review. I just want to point out that Jose service tech is a BIG JERK!.His customer service is Horrible! I decided not have my vehicle repaired because he would not give me a complete diagnosis. He said i needed a new Cat converter, but the diag report did not have the code for that. Other codes did come up but not for the Cat. Converter. When i called Jose to ask him a question he makes you feel totally clueless and chuckles when you ask a mechanical question. I Will never recommended my family Friends, coworkers, and colleagues to get their repairs at Clovis Kia service. As long as Jose is employed there! read more

The worst customer service when it comes to service on your car. I spoke to different service consultants who were either rude, or didn't know what they were talking about. Lorraine was the only one who was polite and helpful. I made it clear and verified several times that I needed a shuttle ride to get to work by 1, which I was told was no problem if I showed up at 12:30. Upon coming in to receive the ride as scheduled, I was told they were on lunch until after 1. No apology, no effort to make it right. I ended up late to work... I will not be returning to this Kia again. Very unprofessional treatment of your customers. The only thing that made my experience somewhat decent was how nice the shuttle driver was. I am currently searching for a new to me minivan and happened to see one that future kia of clovis was selling via Facebook market place. Of course they don't list a price so you have to contact them to find out, which I did through Facebook messenger. I was contacted by Cesar Rodriguez the next day. I simply asked the cost of the Sedona, which he told me the cost of their cheapest model. This was out of my price range in what I wanted to spend, so I simply said thank you. But he persisted, making a joke about me not burning rubber to head down there. And asked if I was financing. I told him I was mainly looking on auto trader because of the better deals we've always found and the approx amount I was wanting to spend. And said that their vans were out of my price range, but thanks for the information. He says he's looking on auto trader right now and there isn't a comparable van for the price I wanted. By now I'm getting annoyed because I just wanted the price and had been very polite in trying to end the conversation. I told him I never said there was one on there for that price, I said that's where we are looking. And that we weren't limiting our search to just the kia and the years we were open to werent just a 2017. We'd consider 2015 and up. I let him know I was in no hurry to buy a car anytime soon, we just started looking and with patience I'm sure we will find something that fits our needs, price and type wise, because that's how we found our last vehicle 10 years prior on auto trader and with patience we found the perfect vehicle at an amazing price. He then sent me a thumbs up, which was great I though ok done with that. Then he sends his last comment, "happy unrealistic hunting". Which may not seem horrible, but that was not necessary and very childish and immature. I'm pretty sure if I'd have been standing in front of him, he also would of stuck his tongue out at me, turned around and stomped out of the room. Lol. So by this one simple interaction, with a large, name brand dealership, he has burned his bridges with me and anyone who ever asks me if I know a good dealership. He could of easily handled this differently, been respectful, possibly helpful and understanding that not everyone is going to buy from him. I understand his vehicles are probably priced accordingly, but it was just more than I wanted to spend, so I politely said thank you, and tried to end the conversation. But because decided he needed to throw insults and rudeness I will never deal with or recommend future kia of clovis to anyone I know. I will also be emailing the sales manager, he may not care what his sales people do or say, but I feel they should at least see the screenshots of how their employee treats a potential customer. read more

Great car-buying experience. They didn't treat me like a girl, they treated me like a woman who was serious about buying a car. I would definitely recommend them to others. Thank you Future Kia of Clovis I typically hate the car buying experience, I dont like the back and forth and I don't want to feel like I need to be on my top game and haggle to get price down. I explained that early on in the process. My salesman Brad Craig was one of the most professional salesman at a car dealership I have ever dealt with. He kept in constant contact from my initial internet communication and was always staying in touch over the two week period before I was able to make it to the dealership. He always ensured me that Future Kia would give me the best deal. And he upheld that promise! Professionalism at its best! Brad was welcoming, knowledgable and gave top notch customer service. He definitely is a huge asset to your team. Also Marcus the finance manager gave me the same quality service he was able to read the customer that I am and gauge his approach with me, I was in a hurry and I'm a no fuss kind of person. He could tell that about me and made sure to be fast and efficient, all the while being engaging and friendly. The whole experience was enjoyed and I will forever be a Future of Kia customer! Thanks Future Kia and your whole team for making my buying experience nothing but positive. And I will add Loraine in the service department also made a great impression on me, she was congratulating me on my new car purchase and had the sweetest disposition! I look forward to bringing my car in for future services. Keep up the great work! You were all genuine and made the day that much better! I couldn't be happier with me new Kia Optima!! read more

First I have to say buying a car here is probably a nice experience BUT WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT WORKED ON HERE...SERIOUSLY buyer beware my moms having to take them to court now because she took her vehicle in for repair brand new car not even so much as a scratch they had to remove her dash which was in prestige condition later to reveal to her that her dash was broken(THE DASH WAS NOT BROKE) She told them, they said well we took a picture before we worked on it and it was broke?! I call bull** You mean THEY TOOK A PIC AFTER THEY BROKE IT!! Is exactly what they did!! My advice if you have to have your car worked on at this place TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES THEY ARE LIARS! I'm sure she will have no problems in court being her vent was the only thing replaced the exact spot where there is now a crack from them breaking it when they removed it and the fact that her car as I said before literally has not even a scratch on it anywhere still looks brand spanking new!! If I can give a Zero star rating I would! We bought a brand new car here in 2015 and every single time we bring it for service it is an absolute disappointment!! When its not one thing its another. When I called to make the appointment for today's service they told me they would schedule me in for the same service I got last time. What they didn't say is that they were going to charge 55% more for the exact same thing! And on top of that the estimate form said they were going to include a wash. I purchased my Kia Forte from Selma Kia in 2016, which was a fantastic experience, which also their maintenance department is fantastic, but as for Clovis, it has been the worst experience I have ever had!!! I have taken my vehicle twice to the Clovis kia maintenance department, where I was having transmission, or some type of backfiring with my vehicle. At the time my car was still under warranty and still have my extended. Both times the maintenance department in Clovis Kia said nothing showed up car runs perfect, well, as soon as I drove it off the lot it started misfiring again. So now I finally take my car into Selma kia maintenance, where as soon as they hooked it up to the computer they noticed right away the Ignition coils were all bad that is causing the misfiring. Kia from Clovis, lied about the test, the bad ignition colis did show up during the first and second test, they just didn't want to do the work and wanted me to pay for it after my warranty was us. They purpsley lied, and failed to do their job properly. So now I am thankful for the Kia in Selma, they are honest, knowledgeable and willing to help the customer first! I will never go back to Clovis Kia, and I don't recommend it to anyone!!!!!! read more
