My daughter took her car in for a service appointment at Kia. They used their automated car wash to wash her car following the service appointment. The car wash malfunctioned and damaged the entire trunk of her car. The damage is severe and will need to be repainted. We contacted the dealer and took the car down. Louie is the first person we spoke to, very rude! He called back and said you were never here.... We have the receipt!!! Joe is the "manager" he didn't even return the call for almost a full day. We took the car down there to discuss. Joe just denied it was them, but said he would never put his car through an automated car wash.... This place is a mess. Warning!!! If you are as unfortunate as I am to have to have your car serviced here don't let them take your car through their drive through car wash they will scratch your car and take no responsibility for it!!! For starters 6 months ago I went though a different car wash and half of my passenger side mirror fell off. I went back to Kia so I could order a new one for myself, no big deal it was 40 dollars. I wasn't mad at all. The guy in parts FRANK tells me it was my fault that the mirror fell off because I know that I'm not supposed to take my car through the car wash. Nobody EVER told me that my practically brand new 2020 car was too fragile for the car wash because things will start to fall off?? But again oh well then I won't take it to the car wash I guess. I take this part I ordered to a auto paint shop to have it painted my cars color where they tell me this mirror part is not even for my model of car! He said that's weird because you bought the car there and they have your vin number. But AGAIN no big deal I just took it back and told him just let me know when I can pick up the new one. Fast forward to now 6 months later it was ordered wrong 3 TIMES and now the 4th TIME it's finally right. This part actually arrived at Kia on 4/27 but FRANK didn't bother to call me it was just sitting there. When I showed up to pick it up all he had to say was "oh sorry I guess I'll comp this one since you paid the first time" after waiting 6 months for them to get their ordering straight it might as well be free!! So anyways I have NOT washed my car in 6 months due to the exposed wires on my mirror I do not want to get them wet so I was waiting for that part. Well a week ago I took my car to Kia for a standard service they did not tell me they were going to wash my car. Well I picked my car up it was washed and my trunk was completely scraped up I called back to tell them of the damage and LOUIE tells me on the phone that I was never in that week for a oil change and there is no record of it and I was there in December. I have a receipt and I waited a full 3 hours so I was for sure there. All the sudden there's record. I meet with the manager JOE who says sorry about LOUIE he has a learning curve. He then says they also keep record of how your car looked before you came in so I said please show me that I came in with this trunk full of scratches and he said again there was no record!!! but then long story short they didn't do it that no way it was their crappy car wash! JOE said out of his own mouth I wouldn't personally take my car through it but it's safe for your car LOL WHAT That is not true that is a lie!! They need to take responsibility for what is right!! I am not asking for anything other than for them to fix the damage they have caused! I really like Kia cars, so when I was in the market recently to purchase a car, I knew I wanted to visit this dealership. I had filled out an online application, and was contacted relatively quickly after to say that I had been pre-approved, and to come on in. So I went to the dealership and was greeted fairly quickly by a gentleman, and I advised I was there to see George. He said right this way, I met George, but was told the guy who greeted me would be helping. Ok great. So I was shown a few cars that they said might work for my budget, but was immediately suspicious when the first car he showed me was a brand new car. I did not have the budget or the credit for a new car, and again went over my needs. They said the manager said to show me this car, so we must be able to make the numbers work. Sure, ok. Test drove it, it was great. Went to talk numbers, and they came back with not only DOUBLE what my down payment was, but more than DOUBLE my monthly payment. Right away I just said, No. That is not possible. So they proceeded to jerk me around for another hour, "seeing what we can do". Finally after 5 different times, their best offer for a car I knew I couldn't afford in the first place, was my down payment, but still $75 over my monthly limit. Again I said no, it's not possible. At this point it was another guy, the financial guy (Robert A.) trying to tell me, "Well maybe you don't go out to eat as much. Don't get that Starbucks." Are you effing kidding me? You don't know me. It's not if I don't get my coffee, it's between a higher car payment, or my utility bill. It's between what I'm comfortable with, and what I'm not. At that point, I was all done. Got up, notified the people that came with me it was time to go, and started walking out. He got to me before I hit the door, gave me his card and then showed me a piece of paper with an offer on it for a car I hadn't seen, on their Ford side, still at $273/mo. When I said I can take the piece of paper home and think about it, he said oh uh... well I can go make a copy... So he hadn't actually intended on giving this to me, it was his last effort to get me to buy then. Yanno what, don't bother. Because as I've said a dozen times, it's not in my budget. I had also told them before hand that I basically had a car waiting for me at another dealership, so I was there just to see what they could offer me. They didn't take me seriously. The moment I had left their building, I called the other dealership and said I wanted to move forward with their offer. Of course I will review my experience with that other dealership as well after the car comes in. SO... if you LIKE the back and forth process, and you LIKE not being listened to, sure, go to this dealership. If you don't, go elsewhere. I gave two stars only because the gentleman that actually showed me the cars and test drove with me was awesome. I took my 2012 Sportage to this dealership for a coolant issue. I have done this before for the same issue. This time I saw a leak on the fire wall. I explained to the advisor what the problem was and when it would occur all to no avail. This was on the 2nd of November. They called that evening and said no problem found could they keep it overnight. They tested again on the 3rd of November and still could not find a problem. I ask him if the tech Had pressure tested the system before he did anything. He beat around the bush about it and never did answer the question which meant no to me. So I paid my 165.00 and left. At this time I took my vehicle to Ron Goodmons shop. I explained what happen and the first thing he said was was it pressure tested and I laughed, he said I take it that means no. So I left it with him and 2hrs later he called and told me what was wrong. He replaced the hoses and clamps and the T stat. let it warm up and took it out for the test drive he did this for me in a matter of a few hours. Got the car back and it has worked fine ever since. I told them I'd pick up my battery because i had a warranty and they proceeded to tell me "we can install one of ours and you can take that one and get your money back" i was unsure and i should have went with my gut because autozone only does battery replacement not cash. So now i am out $248 and now i have a brand new battery with nothing to put it in. $1300 for a alternator change with a battery replacement.... $502 in labor?!?! I had to get towed off a Bay Area bridge to a random auto shop for alternator change in my Yukon and TOTAL COST WAS $800... (this was 5 months ago) Leave voicemails for manager and nothing. We bought a car from Future KIA in Clovis less than 3 weeks later the transmission went out, so we get it towed back to KIA who said they were booked for 30 days, so instead of filing the claim so i could get my rental car, they planned to keep it in limbo until they could get to it. So after calling and speaking to multiple people and their sales manager Michael acting like hes doing me a favor saying "we dont have to help you" after me saying id like to return the vehicle,they started the claim 2 days later. Fast forward now 3 weeks and they still havent gotten my rental and wont be, because the part (a used transmission, not a new one) finally got in, and enterprise is closed for the holiday weekend. Meanwhile ive been renting a car of my own accord and am out $1500 because I have kids that need to get to school and work to go to. Today we decided to buy new tires and found out that this dealership swapped the tires and sold us old 2009 tires on our 2012 vehicle. Maybe it's just me but when you buy a 2012 vehicle you expect everything on the vehicle to be 2012, including tires. Adam Mesick the sales manager was not helpful and basically said if the tires passed their inspection then it's not their problem. Next complaint will be to the BBB! We went to Selma Kia first because it was closer to where we lived, but the service was mediocre, and they weren't willing to work on the price. We left Selma Kia, and went to Future Kia, where the price was instantly 1K cheaper. The reason I'm here writing a review is not because of how I was treated, but really how I saw the guys there treat another patron. a few weeks later I came back to correct an error on the lease forms(probably the only downside of this place, a few paperwork errors) and I couldn't help but notice how well they treated a veteran and his wife, after the couple had agreed on a price, the salesperson went back and got them even a lower price(I think it was a veteran incentive). Overall, great service for a car dealership. As I mentioned earlier, the only downside was paperwork errors, and the small selection(they did offer to get me any color and package I wanted from their partner dealerships. read more

So I show up 10mins early and right away I was greeted and the guy at the counter checked me in and he found I needed a warranty ECU flash update on my KIA Optima. After checking me in he showed me the waiting room and this has to be the nicest waiting room to ever wait in. Nice big chairs, coffee, water, hot coco, big screen TV, free WiFi, and two TVs each with their own Xbox connected. After a few races on Forza 5 I hear my name called no way!! My car is done already!! 40min that's it full Syn. Oil change, oil filter, ECU update. And a free car wash!! Update: As of 6/14/2019 this issue is still ongoing. I bought a 2013 Nissan Altima LS from Future Kia of Clovis on 3/31/2019 from salesman Robert Andrade. The car was advertised with all the bells and whistles a car of this level came with. The second day after purchase, the touchscreen monitor that controls the stereo, CD player, backup camera, GPS and Blue tooth features at start-up would turn off and on then not reboot at all. Early April after I posted here on Yelp and after calling Robert Andrade (my salesman) to try and get this issue resolved, I was contacted and the car was sent to a stereo shop not Nissan. Would you know, they could not find anything wrong (I did have and still do have videos of this issue occurring time and time again). After getting the car back from the stereo shop, the touchscreen worked fine for about a little of a week until it started doing the same thing. I have sent another video to Robert Andrade salesman for Future Kia of Clovis featuring this issue. He did get back to me and was going to talk to the stereo shop and get back to me. Not a word from him or Future Kia of Clovis to date. This should not have even gone this far as I am concerned. At this point, Future Kia of Clovis--a sister company of Future Ford of Clovis which I have had great experiences with in the past--a car dealer for used cars I would not recommend to ANYONE to buy from. Go to Carmax, they have a wonderful staff and ethical work protocol beyond belief. They have a seven day return policy for all their used cars for any reason and stand behind all car sales. J. Poor service dept. I brought my car in for a 7am appt. and they were suppose to start work on it at 8am. I was told when I made my appt, and also when I brought it in, that it would take about 1.5-2hrs. No one is keeping me updated on their progress and I've had to ask twice about how much longer the wait will be. After 4.5hrs I'm still waiting and they still aren't clear on when they'll be done. I purchased my car from this dealer, but I will not be bringing it back for any service. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever received at any dealership. Saeed noticed us right away when we pulled up and helped us right away. He let me test drive every single car I was interested in and even took the time to show me all the features of each car. Saeed was not pushy at all and was professional and friendly the entire time... even had a good sense of humor. Both the manager and Saeed worked really hard to work with me on a comfortable price and payment plan. They were very straight forward and seemed very honest. They told me they can lower the price, but would like to make at least a few hundred dollars too. No bullshit, I like that. Although I needed some time to think things over, they assured me that whatever discounts and payment options they worked out for me will stay the same. During conversations he would interupt us to share about his personal life. Then while we were filling out all the forms he was texting on his phone. The sales team and management are very disrespectful here! I had my car in service because my engine went out and I wanted to see if I still had a warranty because my car is only 5 years old and I took very good care of it. My engine was not covered by anything so I contacted the sales team to sell my car. The sales team said they would inspect my car and give me a quote. I received a call several hours later with a quote and made an appointment with Ed later that week. When I arrived for my appointment Ed was not there but he had informed another salesman of my quote and once we started the process they changed the number of the quote by more than half! I then spoke with the manager Aaron and he told me that it wouldn't be good business for them to take the original quote because they didn't do a thorough inspection the first time. He claimed that he didn't know I had engine issues during the first inspection, which is a complete lie because Ed told me verbatim on the phone "since we will have to replace the engine this would be the price we could buy it for." The sales team was very rude and condescending to me also saying that they had no record of me having any oil changes which is also why they cannot buy the car for the original quote. I did not service my car with this dealership and also it wouldn't matter since they are going to replace the engine anyways. I felt judged because I am a woman that looks a lot younger than my actual age. This team does not know how to do business. Their customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced and I have never made a complaint in my life. I would also like to add, DONT BUY A KIA! we bought a kia sorento and loved kia so much that we also bought a kia soul...such beautiful cars yup until you get that recall code for the sorento for the engine knocking...we went on a family trip and were 4 hours away from home and all of a sudden my sorento engine went in limp mode and the check engine light turned on..i pulled over and scanned it with my scanner that i keep in the car and it was the code p1326..i was 4 hours away so i didnt have the funds to get towed home so in order for me to get back home i had to erase the code to take the car out of limp mode and i had to drive it home going about 40 mph..the next day i took it to KIA of Clovis here in clovis ca and to there ever so great understanding they flate out said sorry we cant do anything for it..even though there is a recall, i have pictures and proof that the code was thrown they said in order for them to even consider the recall the code must be shown again yup so apparently i have to wait for the code to pop up and try to tow it to the kia dealership..great stuff kia you guys are awesome and im so happy i purchased not 1 but 2 of your cars read more

I was really disappointed in this place. I saw a used car online that got me to go down to Future KIA. The car I was interested in wasn't on the lot, that mistake was on me because I didn't notice when I was looking at the website. I did the pre qualification online and Steve called me about 5 minutes later. I made an appointment and he showed me a used Kia Forte that he thought was in my price range. I had told him what I wanted to put down and he said he and the manager kind of looked my credit over already and that amount shouldn't be a problem. I drove a new one because he told me sometimes with rebates, etc you can get a new car for the same price as a used one. He said they'd run numbers and show me the difference in a used car and a new one. He came back to me and said I wouldn't be able to get a used car financed and I can only get financed for a new one. I must have been getting denied for new ones because they tried finaning me a new Forte...I wanted the used Forte, a new Soul and a new Rio. In the end I got an approval for a brand new Rio with TWICE the down payment I said I had and $150 more a month than I wanted. I told him I'd think about it and maybe ask my mom for help. That wasn't true, I already knew I didn't want their deal or their car. Later that night I found a 2018 Kia Forte with very low milage at Toyota of Clovis. They financed me and didn't even try to get a larger down payment or try to force brand new cars on me. Like another comment someone posted, I also thought about Pretty Woman and I should drive by , honk and say, "hey Steve, check out my new used car!" I would never recommend this place. I brought my vehicle in a few months back for a rattle in the engine compartment. At that time I was told there were no issues twice. I insisted there were and provided a video of the concern but the diagnosis did not seem consistent with the symptoms. Nothing was repaired at that time and I paid the diagnostic fee. I recently took my vehicle back for the same issue and provided additional video of the concern. It was given a completely different diagnosis which seemed consistent and repaired on Wednesday January 27th. It was covered under warranty, as I suspected. When I spoke to Kasey on Wednesday prior to picking up my vehicle I asked about the refund for the diagnostic fee I paid previously for an issue that was still under warranty. She told me she'd check with her service director and let me know. Upon picking up my vehicle that evening she did not have a resolution, however she said she'd call me "tomorrow" (Thursday Jan 28th). No communication was received Thursday so I called Friday Jan 29at 11:00am. She told me she spoke to the service director, but wasn't clear on the process and would call me back in "5-10 minutes with a plan". At 4:10 that afternoon no call was returned. I called and left a message on her cell phone, no call returned. I also called her office line at 5:00pm, no call returned. I called her cell at 5:15. No answer and no return call from Kasey. No communication on Monday or Tuesday despite the message left on Friday. I called again on Wednesday Feb 3rd. I spoke with Kasey and she told me she would be sending a check by the end of day Wednesday or Thursday at the latest and she would call me to confirm when the check was placed in the mail. Still no communication as of Friday at 2:30 and once again no communication from Kacey. In an effort to talk with someone else at the dealership I left a Facebook message that shows "typically replies within 1 hour. It is Tuesday Feb 9th. No call. No message. No email. And no Check as previously promised. I understand things happen, however I'm very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness after numerous phone calls, messages, and assurances of follow up. Today I serviced my car with future Kia of Clovis. They told me it would take no longer than 3 hours. Said I would receive a call telling me when my vehicle was ready. Never received anything and when I called to check up on them. They said we are closed and nothing we can do about it until tomorrow morning when the manager comes in. I need my car to get to work.
