I took some time and interviewed and spoke with 3 different roofing companies, and then attended the Wilmington Home show where I spoke with 2 more. In the end, I felt I did more than adequate research and review in selecting a contractor for this hopefully, one and single time that I have to replace a roof in a beachside home. John and his team were professional, timely, honest and frankly friendly, like working with a brother or something on a family matter. Roofing is not inexpensive, but we obtained a fair and reasonable quote. The work done was detail oriented, well discussed and again honest! [Lets be frank, how many times has any homeowner walked up on top of a 30 foot roof?] I am providing a 5 star review only because I've not heard of 6 star reviews on various platforms.
