Good service, friendly employees, a little slower turnaround than I'd like. I brought my car in because the engine did not sound right; turned out my transmission had been leaking (closed unit so I couldn't check) and I needed it replaced. Thankfully I was still under warranty, so it was entirely free! Marina was my rep. There was a bit of back and forth about rental car, getting parts replaced, etc. for a few days. She was friendly and helpful. The only downside is that my car was in the shop longer than they said it would be--I took it in on a Monday; they said it would be ready on Saturday and that I needed to pick it up that day, but I was out of town, so I asked if I could pick it up Monday. Monday morning I was told it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. I didn't hear anything until I reached out to Marina on Wednesday and she said it would be ready on Thursday (because they had to replace another part), which it was. So, my car was there for about 12 days. I'm not sure if that's typical for a full transmission replacement, and I understand that some elements were out of their control, so that didn't impact my experience too much. Worst experience at a car dealer I've ever had. Second time too. Went in to return a leased vehicle. After looking it up they said they couldn't take it back since we got it at a different Ford dealer, however the Ford website and the other dealer both told us that we can return it to any. After telling the guy that he just said "Well, we're not taking it," dropped the keys on the table and walked away. I spoke to two other people and eventually one said that they would go ahead and take it back (so I guess they can, just didn't want to) but told me everyone else lied to me about it. I have not yet gone to this place but I used their online appointment system to make a service appointment. Ever since for two weeks straight, they were calling my phone nonstop including one was about if I was still interested in a vehicle. I specifically made a service appointment. Not to buy a vehicle. Not only that, but do not call someone every day. If there's no answer , actually leave a more detailed voicemail as to why you are calling. If you cannot do that, then send an email. I work at nights and calling in the day disrupts my sleep. If people do not get back to you, it's because they have busy lives. The way I see it , I rather not do business with a company that does such things. If you need to confirm, I would get back to you when I can. This is my initial review on their service department. I brought my car in on Saturday, they were busy, but said they would call me by 4PM with estimate for repairs. I called at 3 PM Saturday and they said they were working on it. We never heard back from them on Saturday. Today (Monday) I called them and the guy that helped me Saturday says he called me and it went straight to voicemail. From the first time I've purchased my vehicle from future ford, I've had nothing but trouble with customer SERVICE. I was suckered into buying a extended service plan so my APR would be lowered. My first problem started a week after purchasing my car. The battery (hybrid) had a LOUD ticking noise, after numerous internet search, I called the service department several time to correct the problem. (The hybrid battery FAN, will emit a LOUD ticking sound to try and cool the battery. Majority of the fixes was to repalce the fan) After numerous recordings of the loud ticking noise and letting the service adviser and manager listen to it, they took a while to get back to me ... the problem is still not fixed, even with my extended protection plan. As already noted on how bad the service was, I went back a few days ago. BAD MISTAKE!! My back door latch was not latching properly, prompting a LOUD beeping continuous noise. I called and was scheduled to come in, the next day. I was helped by a very nice gentleman. That was the only NICE part. I was quoted $250 For diagnostics and oil change. I left my vehicle and was called to come back 3 hours later and pick it up. I asked how much was the total. service adviser said "Apparently the latch was an easy fix. No charge due to my extended warranty plan". I'm just paying for the oil change $59.99"... I get there and my service guy is not there. A different adviser helps me with my paper work. Takes me to the cashier and it rings up $126. I asked why i was quoted a different amount than I was charged ?? They both looked at me like I was crazy and retarded. The service guy that took my paper work over asked me if the signature was mine. I said yes. Then he proceeds to tell me, $95 For Labor and 59.99 for oil change -10.00 coupon... equally $126...NO ONE GETS FREE SERVICE we quoted you at $250 and your getting charged HALF, and walks away. I'm left with the cashier. He looks at me a little bewildered. I told him, I understand what I was quoted. When MY service guy called me, he didn't say that. He told me there was no charge due to my extended purchase plan ( coverage up 100k) i was told it was 59.99 for the oil change only. The cashier says wait, attempts to page and call the original service adviser. No answer. He goes to talk to the SAME service manager that did nothing for me on my previous COMPLAINT. Bottom line my warranty only covers up to 60k miles, (60,480k now) I either pay $126 or wait bout an hour til original service guys come back from lunch to dispute the charges. Im pissed off, my kids are getting out of school. I pay and leave, reminding the cashier to have the service guy call me. I pick up my kids and opened my trunk to retrieve some items. I noticed my latch still was not closing right... Service guys calls me, apologized profusely. Tells me it was his mistake. he was going to do me good and charge me only 59.99 like he quoted. Blah blah blah... if I came back they would reverse the charges. I comply and reluctantly drove back... beeping noise and all. I'm SUPER PISSED...($95 labor eh ) I get back to future ford and the service guy takes my beeping car to the mechanic. I explained the situation and the mechanic was super nice. Needless to say... I can not stress how pleased I am to have bought my brand new car from this place! In the morning I was set in purchasing a vehicle from Lithia Ford and had spent a little over four hours negotiating a "great deal" on Ford Fiesta. I was not satisfied with my prices there so I wanted to look at one more place before I actually took on Lithia's "great deal". My dad took me to Ford of Clovis and within 15 minutes of being there we bought the exact same vehicle Lithia was giving us a "great deal" for a truly GREAT DEAL over all! The overall prices was great and the monthly payments were great. Let me tell you about my experience and compare a little for you incase you plan to do some car shopping. When we got to Lithia, we weren't greeted right away. The sale associates, although they were just standing around, were hesitant on who would help us out. The sales associate was snobby, pushy and rude. The building was nice but I'm sure the prices on the car paid for the "nice looks". As soon as we got to Ford of Clovis, we had four people assist us all at once. Made sure we were taken care and were treated nicely! Harvey was the main sales associate who helped us and he was super patient and not pushy! We were even told by Harvey we could take time to think about the deal and come back another day!!!! I brought my Explorer in because it was due for an oil change, I came in at the last minute and Frank was nice enough to get me in. He is always professional both in person and on the phone. Now, this guy named Alan Gerome is a whole other story. He accused my wife of loitering while I had stepped away from the sales floor while we were waiting on our oil change to be completed. The first thing he asked her was "are you loitering" then proceeded to question her about what car was here and so on and said he would go check on it. He never came back to update her on the status of our car. I think he was just trying to be funny but how he approached her was the complete opposite of customer service. I recently had a terrible experience selling a car at Future Ford Clovis. In short, Future Ford refused to honor their offered price for my vehicle, after I had incurred substantial expenses in reliance upon their initial offer and representations. On Monday, 10/21/19, Future Ford Clovis offered to buy my car, stating that the offer was good for 7 days and expressly stated that the offer was given with no contingencies. I told the employee that I would sell my car, but stated I needed to rent a car first. The employee understood and we agreed I would return within the 7 day window. Future Ford Clovis reassured me twice over the next few days that the offer was still valid. Nevertheless, when I returned four days after the initial offer to sell my car, Future Ford Clovis unilaterally imposed new contingencies and refused to honor the original offer price. Future Ford Clovis further refused to honor any sale price close to their original offer and refused to even attempt to compensate me in any way for the significant rental car expenses I incurred (and they were aware would be incurred) in reliance upon their promises. Each employee shifted blame and refused to take responsibility, and I was given no coherent or consistent explanation for the dramatically changed offer. Future Ford Clovis wasted a significant amount of my time and money. At best, even if a mistake was made, what happened reflects poor training, poor leadership, sloppy work, a refusal to accept responsibility, and a lack of consideration for the impact their actions have on customers. I would never do business with Future Ford Clovis again nor would I recommend friends or family visit this dealership. read more

They misdiagnosed a "dipped beam bulb fault" wanted to charge 783.50 for a head lamp assembly. We switched the bulbs from right to left and it worked. Then months later took it back to be diagnosed for a problem concerning shuddering in shifting and drivability and they give me an invoice for$170.00 that doesn't even tell me the cost of parts and labor to fix the problem. They claim that they can't replace the transmission control module (even though Ford Focuses are under extended warranty for that problem) because those codes aren't coming up. I asked for my quote for parts and labor and they emailed me a long parts list and no price for labor. When over the phone they said a completely different amount. I see why they don't want to put it in writing. 931 dollars for a clutch assembly and 2 fork shifts and 1500 dollars in labor was told to me over the phone by Kasey but, Kyle the service manager sent a parts list that was over 1600 dollars. Take my advise don't go there they want to take advantage of a poor unsuspecting customer. By the way I live in Fresno not San Francisco. read more

We are a local company with a fleet of trucks and have them serviced through Future Ford and Future Ford Fleet. My truck has a number of recalls that are over 6 months old. The first time I called to set up the appointment they told me don't bother we don't have the parts and we will call you. 6 months later and I have called multiple times. Finally I had someone tell me it's not a big deal and just bring your truck in and we will have you in and out. When I drop it off it was a totally different case. 8 hours later and they still have my truck! All but one of the recalls we visual inspections, the third they said they have the parts. Obviously management and techs are out of touch with each other and expediting the "easy stuff" is not a Ford practice. I was a long time customer for service on my cars of future Ford Clovis but dont know what happened lately the service stinks about a yer ago had my car for an oil change and it tool them like 4 hours, and just last week I had my car for oil change and rotation of tires and received a notice of items that require attention totaling more than 800.00 dollars but I've noticed that they mark that they did rotate the tires that I've showed the service advisor that they didn't. Manager called later that day and promised rotation and a balancing without charge to me on 07/02/19 I've arrived about 8.25 am and by 10.10 I've checked with the service advisor wich he was very polite and helpful, he check and told that my car wasn't ready yet that I was still outside so I've told him that I was to go please bring it out. He sid I left and about 20 min later the service manager called and offer to pick it up and bring it back to me without cost to me... but how can I believe that if it wasn't done when I was present?...there no stars rating from me read more

Trusting their expertise, I ordered again (2nd time) and reinstalled. (Passing on their $220 labor for 20 minutes of work). Same Error code came back on so I took in and paid another $135.00 for diagnostics. They again said part was bad an argued with me that it must be defective or I put it in wrong. Because I had not choice and already wasted $270 for nothing on them saying part was still bad, I agreed to have them replace part third time (the exact part number I had them write down which I ordered). This was quoted as $106.10 for part and $220 for labor. (More than FORD MSRP but they do smile when they quote you on their "service") I ask for old parts so I can return since it has a 2 year FORD Warranty and online vendor said I could return no problem. Get home and open trunk for part and a completely different part was replaced even thought the service order said they were replacing what I replaced twice already! This is the part they charge 47% more than FORD MSRP for just to teach me a lesson and $270 LABOR. Best of all, CODE READER still show permanent error which they say is cleared but all code readers except FORD readers may show this "PHANTOM ERROR". I am following up with FORD customer relations and filing a complaint, but do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Service manager is less than helpful and you get the feeling real quick that they don't give a rip about you or your car, just your money. read more

On 6/1/2020, a disabled veteran visited Future Ford with the intention of purchasing a car. Chris was his salesman. The veteran said I want to pay cash, I don't want payments. He had as much as $28,000.00 which was enough to buy a new car outright. Well, Chris had this "gem" he steered him to. It was a 2019 Fusion rental car with over 30,000 miles on it, doesn't even have leather seats! From what I am getting, the vet was told he didn't have enough for a new car. The vet gave them $24,654 for this dog Future Ford wanted to unload. They were advertising a new Fusion for $10.00 less than the 2019 used rental car they pushed on him. Wow, Chris!! You are one super salesman, or not. You did a despicable thing and I hope everyone reading this will go elsewhere to purchase a car. You could say that the vet should have known better. Well he has some mental issues, which is quite apparent. They gave him a contract that stated the price of the car was $34,708.90 and after the down payment they would allow credit of an interest rate of 20.99 yearly, payable in 47 payments over $600 a month which would be a total of $10054.78, due to the extreme rate of interest, when paid off. When I saw what Future Ford had done, I called the sales manager, Adam, twice No response, so I called Gary Revis the GM. I tried to give him an easy out by giving the veteran his money back. He gave me a song and dance saying the information in the contract didn't apply, then why put it in there? But before we spoke, he called the vet and said he would give him the title. Well I guess so, he paid for the car. But he want's his money back when has was made aware of the dirty trick. Who knew a Ford dealership could be so corrupt? At this point he will accept a new Fusion for the price he paid. This is not going to end here unless he has received justice. Plan on shopping here? Buyer beware. What else are they capable of.
