Driverside headlamp went out while visiting family in the aeea. Popped in here to get a replacement. The lot was easy to navigate, the shop was clean and tidy amd the staff were friendly. Note: I travel with a service dog and this place gets Baileys 4paw approval. No access issues at all. We found a replacement lamp and the mr installed it. While trying to install it, an employee came out with a toolkit to see if we needed help. He let us barrow a flashlight, and stuck around while we swapped out the bulb. We tested it and it still didnt work. He fussed withvit and still nothing. He checked the 2 fuse boxes and couldnt find anything. He got another bulb to see if the one we got was defective. That bulb didnt work. We all scratched our heads and I started researching the issue. About the same time I found something, the employee whom we had thanked profusely for trying to help, came back out and said he had looked it up also. Turned out the wiring harness for that model year has some known issues. He suggested driving it back home and having it looked at by the dealership here. He suggested keeping the reciept and bulb handy in case CHP pulled us over. I don't usually give 5 stars on a first visit. But that young man earned it. He was the definition of cuatomer service and now, I will recommend this shop to anyone needing car parts. read more

My husband's truck left him stranded this afternoon as it would not start when he left a nearby store. We took it to this location to have it charged while we went home to look for our receipt for proof of purchase since they could not find us in their computer system. When we went back to check on the battery the Manager, Ben Gonzalez advised us the battery would not even charge. Despite it only being 2 years old. We advised him we were unable to find the receipt but we were able to find the purchase on our credit card which he honored. Ben went above and beyond to get us a brand new battery and update their system. So if we had any future issues with this new battery we would not have a problem exchanging it. We truly appreciate his help since we were so sure we would have to buy another battery. read more

On May 6th of 2023 a 74 year old Senior Citizen Grandma went here and purchased a gallon of Prestone coolant for her car and asked politely if one the store's employee could help her put it into her car but she was ignored. She had been waiting for over an half hour for someone to help but none of the employees showed this Grandmother any courtesy for some odd reason. Finally a kind hearted customer drove up, purchased a funnel and helped her. The time was after 3pm, there was an Asian and Middle Eastern employee there at the time. The store manager should look into this matter and send these inhumane hearted guys to customer service orientation training. Absolutely inhumane and unAmerican! read more

My car had a emergency flat and we stopped at the nearest auto zone we could find, the man at the reception desk recommended I use (tire plug) but when I asked if I could have some assistance being a 17 yr old female with no experience myself, the 4 men behind the counter said they never fixed a flat tire before, I tried using the tire plug but was unsuccessful, I asked if they had anything else to fix a flat tire and they recommended I use fix a flat and as I was putting the spray in my tire I walked back into the store and asked them if they knew how much spray I should put into the tire, silly me they didn't know that either! So there were 4 men who worked at auto zone and none of them had any experience about a tire puncture. Great... as I'm working at my tire trying to stop the leak 2 men in a green car pull up right next to me telling the guys inside about some engine problems and all 4 men were outside helping these guys try to figure out what's wrong with their car. I didn't know you could just pick and choose who you wanted to help but that's okay i guess! Long story short this place sucks I would never ever ever go there for ANY type of assistance of any kind ever in my life again. read more

Besides Auto Zone being clean inside the store & well stocked, everything else there especially the customer service is far below what standard customer service should be. Not only are they desperate to make sales & over charge you, but they will go to extremes and say that you need certain things that my bf knew we didn't need. It was a joke. There final cost for the parts we needed were 50 bucks. We decided to leave and go to O Riley's because this Auto Zone sales associate was so ridiculous. At O Riley's we were given the parts we asked for rather then the joke we dealt with at auto zone (parts that were being pushed on us at a high price.) I left spending 23$ for EVERYTHING I NEEDED RATHER THAN 54$....ALMOST EXACT SAME STUFF I don't work for or have never even been into Oriley's before today so i have no reason to say this, but in my OPINION, GO THERE and ask for what you want. They will help without trying to make big $$ sales. Also, Auto Zone does have some very good smart people. I don't mean to put all of their employees down. I feel the company pushes employees to sell due to low sales and it results in PUSHY SALES TACTICS THAT DRIVE CUSTOMERS AWAY! read more

Devin immediately helped me and checked the life of my battery and nicely suggested that its time for a new one and broke down all the pricing for the battery for my car and I decided with one and he did an amazing job at replacing my battery in a very reasonable amount of time. Came to get my battery tested since my car wasn't turning on, they took the battery and told us to come back within the hour. Came back in an hour and the guy told us the battery charged but that it was bad. He handed me the battery back and went on to the next customer. I needed a battery for my wife's car as her's had failed due to sheltering in place. We had no idea how old the battery was so decided to replace it. Store 5322 transaction #244571 CSR #34. Good news is better late than never. I am writing about a transaction that happened this past July. I am still so grateful for the employee "Eric H" who helped me I have had it on my to do list to write to you to tell you about it. It was this past July over 100 degree day. I am from Orange County, CA very far from Clovis where I was shopping at Autozone. My Mother & Wife were inside my truck keeping it running in park with the air conditioner on full blast while I shopped inside Autozone.I was there looking for A/C recharging products when your employee Eric H approached me that he witnessed my truck just had an mechanical failure and was pouring out liquids from under the hood. I quickly went outside, turned off my truck, popped the hood and started looking to see what was causing the leak. Eric H followed me outside to assist me with inspecting the engine compartment to see what went wrong and caused the gush of fluids coming from my engine. Eric H has a keen eye and found the mechanical failure. I could not find the problem with out him. His mechanical knowledge and keen eye shows his ability to trouble shoot my engine problem. He saved the day! Eric H was able to assist me with the Autozone products I needed and help me choose the correct parts and offered the best choice for radiator coolant for my truck. Again this was a 100 degree day it was very HOT and Eric H still was willing to go outside and spend a few quick minutes to assist me and my family with inspecting my truck and getting us back on the road. He was even able to hear my A/C system and tell it has a leak and that is why my A/C system did not feel as cool as it should as gases were escaping the sealed system. You should be proud to have an employee like Eric H that is willing to go way beyond his minimum duty to assist your customers. He was willing to go outside in 100 degree weather and make sure your customer was well taken care of. Eric H is my HERO! read more
