Our car is in need of fixing our air conditioner. We called Alpha last week and he told my husband he was too busy to see our car or make an appointment. He said to call or come by next week to check on availability. We went the following week and he rudely told my husband he was not going to have time at all-not next week or even the following week. The guy looked at my car from about 100 feet away and said it's going to be too complicated and they were too busy and when I asked if I can schedule an appointment he said they couldn't and refereed me to see an AC tech. It's actually, "Alpha Auto Air ConditionING. My truck's AC has been down since August and I finally got around to taking it in. My Mechanic, Jay at GLM recommended this shop. Jimmy, the owner greeted me immediately. I thought they were busy but he said "I'll look at it right now." I was worried it was kaput but it just needed refrigerant. He apologized for the high cost of refrigerant which I understood. It was still a good price. I was in and out in under an hour and I have a great shop to get my vehicles' ACs blowing cold again. Took my car in for A/C service having been told twice by others that it needed a new compressor. The mechanic at Alpha let me know that it only needed the belt replaced. In & out in 30-45 minutes. $80 dollars is WAY better than replacing possibly $1000 or more stuff that it didn't need. Called Alpha Auto Air with the A/C cooling slowly dying to the point it was blowing hot air with outside air temps in the upper 90s and a warming weekend ahead. Jim advised if I could get in within 45 minutes, he could take a look at it, otherwise it would be next week. I arrived at Alpha Air in a half hour and Jim correctly and quickly diagnosed a leaking refrigerant fill valve and had the valve replaced and system serviced in about a half hour at a fair price. 2022 August 15 Monday Thank you God and Jim the owner & his crew at Alpha Auto Air @ 3261 E Belmont in Fresno! The PT's ac is finally working. They are good, they are fast and the prices are fair. Pep Boys said they couldn't fix it because it was an electrical problem. They sent me to Electrical Labs who wanted to charge $340 just to diagnose the problem. Then charge for the repair. Son sent me here. Boy I am so grateful. Sure the bill was more than $340 but that included diagnosis, new ac fan and ac service including coolant & labor. Are these 'electrical problems'? I was there at 8am the work was done and I was paying at 10:40. Don't bother calling they are too BZ to answer. Get there early like 8am or before because by noon they are hot and tired and about done for the day. They start at 7am! While I was there (2hrs 40min) they moved 5 cars out of bays, took 3 more cars into the lot for repair while filling up the bays with cars that were already there and the parts houses made 2 deliveries. Yeah, I stayed there. No other transportation and I had all my electronic entertainment with me. This will be our go-to auto ac/heater/electric repair shop! read more

My ac stopped working and I went in at 10am on a week day and they managed to fine the issue with my car and fix it by 1pm. It was amazing. They could have charged me more than they did because they ended up needing to run two separate tests however they only charged me fairly since it was such a simple fix for my car. Never go here, you'll just waste your time. I came here 2X for auto AC repair because I thought they are good with AC, but twice I was turned down. First reason, i was told "First come, first served" though i got there 8:30 AM; following week I got there just as they opened the shop at 8:05AM, this time same guy said,"Oh, Ii don't have time for that, not even in a week." So either he is choosing his customer or a typical "racist" because I'm brown colored. Try to call them, they won't even pick it up. This shop should close down. read more

I'm never one to review, but the service I got here is nothing short of amazing!! I came at a particularly busy part of the day and was behind a few people in line but I got my car serviced very quickly. The older man with the glasses was very kind and definitely knows what he's doing. This place reminds me of the old-fashion mom and pop shops that had friendly and prompt service. The price wasn't anything to scoff at either, basically half as much I was quoted at the dealership. An honest mechanic and clean shop! I had a great experience here today. This place is local and family owned, and a great value. They were honest and upfront with me and delivered exactly what they promised. I have an old car and did not have great expectations. I was shown exactly what was wrong with my compressor and given very affordable options to fix my air conditioning. 30 minutes later I was driving away in a cool car! The waiting room was clean and had a desk for me to use. I had a laptop and work to get done so this was perfect. There was no pressure to buy extra services that I did not need.
