First time visiting the hunt Valley location for lunch and i was very impressed with the quality and freshness of the fish and sushi. We started with the tuna tacos which were probably the best thing. Very fresh rare tuna atop i guacamole mix within a crunchy shell. read more

This is a very popular local spot. I tried a few years ago and was left disappointed. Figured I'd give it another try. Ordered a salmon roll and crunchy spicy tuna roll with a side seaweed salad. Rolls were good size but mostly all rice. The crunch roll was covered in a pink crunch topping which was tasteLess and unappealing. The salad was drenched in a vinegar dressing and wet. I will not be returning... i suggest trying umi sake or green leaf! read more

We been going for years never had an issue before with our tasked trained service dog and have been there several times in which we have been completely complimented on his training and the other day we were hassled before the door shut to present a fake ID and papers in which by state and federal law literally say can not be asked for or shown as the do NOT exist ! these fake ID's sold on the web is truly making it so hard for real service dog handlers and places need to stop asking for things that are fake and making up there own laws when literally in 1990 they we written for people with. disabilities and rewritten 12 years later to include service animals please educate your self and your staff on the only two things your allowed to ask is is it is a service dog and what task or tasks does it preform ! period nothing else the only time you can refuse service is when the animal is being disruptive , The FDA also allows service animals in places that serve food because of there higher training and cleanliness i would love to educate u fully before someone acually will take action against this as you are literally breaking federal and state laws and there breaking them by presenting you with a fake ID or card if u want to educate your self more please go to ADA.gov to the FAQ on service animals it will give you all the info u need to know and what laws you broke that day. As far as state laws please go to MD state page under service dogs and see the state laws. Did u know Maryland allows other animals as service animals ? Like Cats monkeys and others ? See theres a lot to learn here and i hope you take my offer if u like to see the acual video of the whole situation i would be glad to show it as well read more

The food may be good. The service is a joke. Four sushi chefs and three servers and only one other party In the restaurant. They couldn't be bothered with us. They switched back and forth between visiting with each other and watching TV on the 5 massive screens. Truly pathetic! Whatever these people are being paid, it's too much!! Only go here if you want to be ignored during your dinner. What a joke! read more

I came with a group of friends to get sushi on a Friday night. We were placed right by a window, which was very cold. We had to keep our coats on. We waited 20 minutes to order and get our drinks, while everyone that was seated after us was helped almost immediately. We waited over an hour to get our sushi. We wanted to leave at one point because we were tired of waiting. They kept telling us it was coming. When our rolls finally came, they were decent. My friend asked for hers to be rolled with a different type of paper instead of what it's typically rolled with (I forget the names), and they didn't make it how she wanted it, but charged her extra. It was annoying seeing everyone around us get seated and have their food before us. read more

Warmed over sushi, the decor and lighting of an elementary school cafeteria and a short haired little hitler manager that only stops slurping noodles at the bar to yell at employees and even customers. Edo Sushi right down the street is so much better in all aspects, this place will have problems surviving, unless they really test the depths of "sushi grade" fish. Not sure what some of the other reviewers are seeing and tasting. This is the Little Caesars of sushi. Gross read more

(12/15/2013) We hit Fusion for a very late lunch/very early dinner; place was devoid of diners, looked like staff and randomly related folks wandering in and out (kids, in-laws, aunts, etc.). I'm generally pretty good about identifying different languages, but was stymied by this place; heard Mandarin, Spanish, and maybe Tagalog. Vibe is quirky but fun, casual but instantly overly familiar. Place used to be the Field Sports Pub and Village Inn, has remnants of way too many TVs. The food here is not really "fused", more like pan-Asian. Pick the most popular of whatever Asian cuisine you can think of and they've got it on their extensive menu (Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Poke, Bulgogi) along with some American faves (Crab Wontons, Jalapeno Poppers, Cheesesteaks). We were starving and so ordered basically a cook's tour of the continent. Best was probably the Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna Salad; dressing was a rice vinegar tart, soy and sesame oil based vinaigrette with some sugar and hint of wasabi. Also enjoyable was the Chicken Lettuce Wraps (stir-fried chunks of dark meat chicken in a brown, soy-based sauce with diced celery, carrots and onions) came with cool, crisp, leaves of iceberg, squiggles of hoisin; was savory and nice mix of textures and temperatures. Sesame Crispy Eggplant were also a good choice, best eaten immediately; eggplant was tender (just serves as a vehicle for crispy batter and sweet, sticky, garlicky sauce). Jalapeno Poppers are fresh jalapeno halves stuffed with a schmear of cream cheese and shreds of Krab, tempura-battered and deep-fried; was lava hot, crispy, bland. Lemongrass Hot & Sour Soup was sour, but neither hot nor lemongrassy, broth was thin, least successful thing we tried. Marinated Calamari Salad was a mix of 2 salads (squid and wakame) a restaurant can order pre-made from any of the big Asian food distributors in Maryland (like JFC International) with a few fresh slices of cucumber underneath. We fell victim to the very clever sushi puns and naming and chose primarily for amusement (which did not necessarily lead to the best combos, but really, just wanted to say "Shiso Fine" and "No Money No Honey" Roll). Fine, but mostly overwhelmed by sauces, fried things and mayonnaise. Everything we had was fine, but nothing stood out as exemplary of it's genre. read more

We were VERY pleased to find such great service, fresh and tasty sushi and sashimi, and much awareness and cooperation when we told them we had to be gluten-free!! Highly recommend this place. Only drawback was the multiple TV screens everywhere. read more

Ok so here is the deal breaker: if you are questioning Their food such as 'oh there's a long hair' or ' you didn't give me enough rice' or 'the rice is cold' or 'I don't see the shrimps in my bowl'... the waitress will call the manager out (who is a big lady) and she will yell at you something ( imagine that by yourself). Make sure you give 0 tips then. I am not joking. read more

The best tuna taco's I have ever had! Their General Tso's chicken and fried rice is also excellant.

I came here for lunch once because I was really craving sushi. This place had pretty good reviews so I decided to check it out. The sushi was NOT good. I had a spicy tuna roll and a salmon avocado roll. What really bothered me the most about the sushi was the rice! It was way too overcooked, it was almost like a rice paste, it was very unpleasant. The people here are very nice though. I haven't tried any of the other food. However, if i'm craving sushi, I definitely will not be going here. read more

All I have to say is that I tried the yellowtail cheeks... and I liked it. This place is a must for fresh, quality sushi (and noodles, dumplings, cheese steaks, and nachos) served at a decent price. The happy hour menu (M-F, 3PM to 6PM) features drink and meal specials (including the ah-mah-zing cheeks) that are sure to please... BUT... be warned... this place does get nutsy crowded on the weekend and parking can be a challenge... BUT (second, I know) it's worth it. Lisa Lee has done a fantastic job in a small space, and promises more goodies to come. Seriously good food. read more

I was a little confused by these reviews-- mainly because I thought everything was "just okay." There is a lot going on with their menu, but I had high hope based on the ratings. If you've gone anywhere and had great sushi, I think you'd agree that this is very average. Nothing wrong with it, just not very flavorful. The sashimi with ponzu was good, but the rest was just so-so. The Chinese items were better than the Thai ones. If you want great fusion, drive to Roy's. Much better selection and flavors that brighten your taste buds! Hop is here for a decent beer selection, and a small bite. read more

This place was absolutely fantastic. Fusion is not just a clever name. Their exuberant food exemplifies what an Asian mashup restaurant should be. I started out with their large house sake, which I had three orders of by the end of the night (some may call me a sake sadist). I accompanied the sake with my first appetizer, the tuna pizza. It was a decadent dish, covered in tuna, jalepenos, tomato's, crunch flakes, and wasabi sauce on a tortilla. So yummy. I moved on to sushi and got two rolls: Fiesta and No Money No Honey. I'll get back to Fiesta later. No Money No Honey was a delicious hand crafted roll that left me wanting more. It paired excellently with my second bottle of sake. I didn't even have to use any wasabi, ginger, or soy sauce because the complex flavor profile was enough to be enjoyed on its own. Finally, on to the Fiesta Roll. This was a deep fried roll that came out a little bit after No Money No Honey. When the sweet waitress brought it out, I was in awe of the size of this sushi roll. The Fiesta was an absolute unit. I could barely fit it in my ogre mouth. Piled high with spicy tuna, crab meat, and stuffed with thick cream cheese, the sushi roll is my all time favorite. By the time I finished my meal and my third jar of sake, I was stoked out of my mind over this meal. I can't wait to go back to Fusion ASAP. I highly recommend it to anyone. read more

You can't go wrong here! I love their outdoor patio (especially now with Covid). Lots of options for fresh tasty raw sushi. Service is efficient and friendly. I need to get one of the fancy drinks in a coconut next time I go!! read more

I tend to go with what I know and like when it comes to sushi. You cannot go wrong with the sushi at Fusion. I had the shrimp tempura, mango shrimp tempura, and chesapeake. It was all great when you pair it up with a nice big can of Sapporo. I am in heaven. They do have a sushi bar if you are not looking for a normal sitdown dinner so you do have options plus the menu has a large variety if you are not looking for sushi. Make sure you stop by. read more

Delicious Korean BBQ! Extensive menu of Korean, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine. My friend had shrimp/tuna roll which was generous proportions and flavorful. The fried spring rolls appetizer were crisp and tasty though nothing special. Overall of recommend this popular restaurant! read more

We went to this restaurant towards the end of their evening but were still greeted with friendly smiles and fast service. The sushi chef makes the rolls right in the middle of the room, so if you sit around the 4 sided bar, you can actually watch him make the sushi which is neat. They have a Mai Thai that is pretty dangerous. Hardly tastes like alcohol at all, and goes down smooth. They have a ridiculous number of rolls. So much to choose from, almost too many! We had a roll with sweet potato and mushrooms, and I wish I'd gotten several rolls of that, it was fantastic. The California roll, which we tend to use as a cleanser between rolls was actually made with chunks of crab, very tasty. I would absolutely go back again. read more

I've always been a fan of Chinese/Japanese/Thai/Basically all around Asian restaurants and never actually found a bad one and Fusion is no exception really. Everything about this place just seems like my cup of tea entirely. Sure, first time I came here, it was busy (as any restaurant can be on a Saturday) but it shows that it's doing something right. The service is good, they listen and all around friendly. Of course, main attractions are the food and it is delicious! Everything about it just seems about the food just tasted about right. With the chicken fried rice for example, there is a lot for yourself or to share with others. Because there are no small portions, which is good because if you're eating solo, it can fill your stomach real good. And even the prices don't seem too bad, some of which can be a steal. It is very pleasant and I highly recommend eating here when you can. read more

Solid sushi restaurant. Had the lunch special recently, 2 sushi rolls (8 pieces each) plus miso soup for $9. Plus they fulfilled my request to make them with brown rice! And the rolls were so big I had to take half of it home! We sat on the patio, which has nice outdoor furniture and umbrellas over each table. Definitely a pleasant springtime lunch! I'll be back for sure. read more

A nice surprise. Nothing to look at for seating though the square bar has room and potential. Nice TVs all around on wall. Sushi was good! We had the Twister & Titan. No roe (tobiko) of course! Started w/sesame crispy eggplant which is yummy. Lightly tempura w/ginger dark thick sauce. Try it! read more

This place was a great find. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The ahi tuna tacos were great. The jalapeno stuffed peppers were so so. The sushi rolls were great although one wasn't which brought the review down to 4 stars. The menu had a large variety of foods and a great selection of sushi rolls that mixed both traditional and i'd say american ingredients. read more

This place is really crowded and kind of a hot mess, but they have some super creative sushi. The Ahi Tuna Taco makes the visit absolutely worth it. The rest of the sushi we ordered wasn't anything crazy, so it wasn't anything crazy creative. I'd visit again, and I'd take you just for the Tuna Tacos. read more

Disgusting! Let's start with the dirty tables, dirty menu and dirty seats. Food came out in about 5 minutes how do you cook sushi and dumplins in 5 minutes. Cold and disgusting. Service was even worse. Rushing when there's barely anyone there. I will not be back. read more

Miso soup, avocado roll and Japanese rice bowl for lunch for great for lunch. My hubby is a sushi connoisseur and didn't care for this place. He said the fish wasn't good. Since I'm a vegetarian I didn't sample any fish. Miso soup was really yummy! Good happy hour specials 3-5. read more

This is easily one of the top places to get sushi in Baltimore. Lisa and Johnny , take a lot of pride in their product and friend hospitality. My two standards for restaurants are: 1. Food Quality and 2. Drinks. This sushi place delivers on both accounts. The sushi bombs are inventive rolls and extremely delicious. Try the Royal Flush and the Oriole roll. Rolls are generous portions, and you will leave full. The mixed drinks from the bar are fruity and refreshing.Try the French martini! The wines are top shelf with a very low mark up. So you can concentrate on high quality food with an excellent wine which is decently priced. read more

Hate to do it as we have been going for years ! the last two with my daughters Service Dog since the new owners took over they did t want to let us in the waitress that always waits on us tried to tell the manager we were a real Service dog team he kept asking for a license or registration which in the US there are none ! All those are scams and fake if u have one you got ripped off ! When i tried to educate the manage on the Americans with Disability's Act he was very rude and kept insisting on a card with his picture. Even when i showed him the laws stating these are not to be asked for as they have no legal value. After the waitress and another person said to let us eat he finally caved but still said next time bring his ID i again said there isn't any. i have tried to message email and call to speak to the new owner to educate them on the laws but they have not to this date responded.. We will not ever go back . and we went as a family at least once a month and i pick up take out as well for lunch and dinner at least once a week Sad sad day So if your disabled don't look to be accommodated very disappointed read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE and ATTITUDE! There was 1" long hair in my food which showed up on the plate after the food was gone. On telling the server, she brought her manager to take a look at it. The manager raised her voice insinuating that it could be my hair (which is 12"long) and went on a barrage. The server's attitude changed from hot to cold when she brought us the check as if it was all our imagination. I don't know if the entire team thought that they could get away with this because of our accents but it's just not acceptable. read more

Fantastic food, quick friendly service, well decorated and clean. Comprehensive menu without being overwhelming. I usually get the Pure Pearl Saki, a Crabstick Salad and then a sushi roll; however, I have had the red curry with grilled shrimp (yes, they are really grilled and delicious) the Pad Thai, several appetizers, soups and entrees. There has never been a time when I said, "I wouldn't order that again." We go to Fusion to celebrate birthdays or when family is in from out of town. My husband and I also sneak in a lunch or two every month. read more
