I love this place to get sushi! Staff is friendly and helpful. I love that I can choose what I want in my roll.. the prices are perfect, and I enjoy their drinks they got. I only give 4 stars because I wish they'd have more tables to sit. Whenever I go there it's really packed and I've to squeeze between people. Which I don't enjoy. But other than that it's great! read more

Easton - Sushitime! Love this "diy" sushi place.. - Sushi Bars Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

I have driven by Fusian a few times and decided today would be a good day to try it out for lunch. I enjoyed the wrap I created and the miso soup. I thought the concept was pretty interesting but was a bit overwhelmed with it being the first time there. Service was fast and the people were friendly. The food was good, particularly for the price point, but nothing had a "Wow" factor to it. I can say I recommend both the beef and the salmon and I was appreciative of the ability to split the roll into two meats. My only complaint is that the tables were bolted to the floor so sitting in the bench was a tight squeeze. Overall, it is an interesting place to get a quick bite of sushi and I plan to go back. read more

Basically a chipotle but for sushi. I opted to eat inside those time ONLY because I was so intrigued by their different drink options. They have various flavor of tea and lemonade in addition to their soft drinks. I wanted to try a few, which I wouldn't have been able to do to-go. Menu: they have a mobile menu which is great! I was able to determine what I wanted in the car, so I didn't have to stand there and feel dumb as I tried to figure out the process. You can even order online, and pick it up, paying with their mobile app! I got the crab mix (no extra crab) and it was plenty! I almost got 2 rolls because I was sure if one out be enough, but as the picture shows, it filled the entire basket. In order to give it some spice and crunch, I topped it with spicy mayo and tempura. I also got their miso soup and a drink. Taste: 4 stars - Their sushi was very good! Their soup was just ehhhh. The drinks are unique, I had a lavender lemonade at one point which made me feel like I was drinking those purple jujube candies lol. Mobility/ messiness: 2 stars - I ate this inside for drinks' sake, and I'm glad I did! Sushi can be tricky to eat anyway, but I noticed mine wasn't packed extremely tight, so it began to really fall apart. Soup is always sort of risky to eat in he car. Atmosphere/ employees: 4 stars - The place is very hip and modern inside. Definitely trying to appeal to Millennials. The guy who helped me was nice...may have been new. We were having some problems with the app and whether or not we could use it on a "non-online order." He wasn't sure. Would I go back? Absolutely! Especially when I need a sushi fix! read more

Easton - Crab mix with several fillings, spicy mayo, and tempura on top! Lavender lemonade and miso soup. - Sushi Bars Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

I went to Fusian for the first time tonight with my family and LOVED the food, atmosphere, brand and the owners. I am now a Fusian-evangelist and will be preaching the good word of rolls, rolls and more rolls. These are the high points: * The food is incredibly fresh. I tried several rolls (from the grilled chicken to the California to a house specialty) and they are all fresh. The rice isn't hard or mushy and they don't skimp on ingredients. * I was really impressed with their non-alcoholic drink selection. They serve 7-8 fresh, house-made drinks from Cucumber Lemonade to Agave Gingerale. I sampled them all and LOVE the honeydo! * I got the chance to meet two of the three owners, Zach and Steve. Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and we are just a normal family, they each individually stopped by our table to check in. We chatted with them for a while and really respect their vision for the restaurant and their passion for providing families with a healthy, fun and sustainable dining experience. Steve talked to me about how they try hard to make work fun and meaningful for their employees. They take them to baseball games and other social events, give employees freedom to bring new ideas and invest in their lives. They seemed like two of the most sincere, hard working people that you just want to WIN. * The atmosphere was great. Other reviewers mentioned that it is set up similarly to Chipotle. For that reason, it's ideal for a healthy and fast meal while you are shopping. Bottom line: Will I be back? Heck yes. read more

It's dangerous that I live so close to this side of Easton... Anyway, I like sushi, I just don't like nori that much. Fusian fixes that problem: soy wraps! I LOVE sushi from Fusian because I can make it exactly how I want it, and their drinks rock. How it works: Pick your paper: nori (seaweed) or soy Rice: white or brown Meat: crab sticks, tuna, shrimp, smoked salmon, ect., plus thinks like chicken and steak! Veggies: cream cheese, cucumber, avocado, jalepeno, green onion, carrot, other in-season choices. Toppings: everything, really, I get spicy mayo, sesame seeds, and tempura crunch with wasabi, pickled ginger, and soy on the side. Price is by protein, regardless of how much you put in your roll. High quality, fresh ingredients. There are some sides, too but you MUST get a drink. I love the agave lemonade, but there are ginger and honeydew options that are great. A little pricey, but totally worth it! Sushi lovers, skeptics, and first-timers--you can get creative, or play it safe. So many great options! Only negative is that seating is kind of limited/close together, but they do have some outdoor options. read more

Update: Management handled the issue very well. Hope to be back to try it again Love the concept and the grandview location but the service, quality in easton location isn't so tempting.. I will give easton another chance but I probably wont recommend other or bring any guests in here with the risk of bad quality. Good tip is - download the app and get $8 off when you pay with it! read more

There is no food that divides people quite like sushi. The people who love sushi swear by it (including myself) and the people who don't, wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Fusian is quickly becoming one of the go to places in Columbus that really takes the mystery out of sushi by giving you a hands on approach, prime ingredients selection and catering to your taste and sensibilities. For the opportunity to make traditional roles as well as some "not so" traditional.......Fusian is DEFINITELY the place to go! read more

Hi. My name is Chelsea and I am absolutely addicted to sushi. Haha. No but seriously, let me tell ya, this place is IT. The vibe is very organic/natural. The ordering is chipotle-esk, you go through the line and get your rice, protein, veggies then top it off with your sauce and garnishes. Loved it. The veggies (asparagus, avocado, peppers carrots) are not extra--so pile it up-- but the meat you choose is the price point. It will take you from $7.50-9ish. Very affordable, and I was nice and full after our visit. Fusion gets a.... THUMBS UP :) read more

Stumbled across this place after getting my nails done next door. It's fantastic! They create fresh sushi rolls in front of you. It's a fast casual place so you can eat in or dine out. It's very reasonably priced. My roll, with the soy wrap, cost $8.50. I created my roll with brown rice, soy wrap, half tuna, half shrimp tempura, avocado, asparagus, scallion, cucumber. I Chris Sriracha and sweet soy as my sauces and added tempura crunch on top. It was awesome!!!!! They had several different iced tea options. read more

Is this AMAZING sushi? No, but for a quick lunch option it certainly fits the bill. Food was prepared quickly and tasted very good. Typically when I go, I make my own choices but this time I ordered a "special" fro the menu (Philly roll). I had to tell the person making the roll what was in it, which seemed odd. The spicy edamame is freaking amazing and I love their lemonade selection. read more

Typically I like Fusian but my experience with them today was pretty unpleasant. 1. I waited in line 20 minutes for my food, though I'm not quite sure how it took that long since there were only 4 people ahead of me. One employee was working the line while two other employees stood around. Only after 15 minutes or so, one of them jumped in and began assisting other people. 2. An employee answered his cell phone in the food assembly line while customers were waiting. I understand that there are important calls that sometimes you need to answer, but it seemed inappropriate to do this in front of customers and while he was prepping people's orders. What's more concerning is that he stuck his hand into his pocket while wearing his gloves, answered the phone, put the phone back in his pocket, and then touched my food. No glove change. It was kind of gross. 3. I was served a remarkably skimpy bowl. Usually the bowls are a decent size but this one was so sad. It was in no way worth $12, especially given the wait. 4. The rice was undercooked and way too crunchy. The tuna tasted...extra fishy? I love sushi and eat raw tuna fairly regularly, but this time was pretty off putting. I've included pics so you can see. Probably would not go back to this location. read more

I stopped in here for lunch on a random Friday. The food was, as always, very tasty and well-prepared. I had the steak roll and the carrot/ginger salad. I also inhaled about half a gallon of the lavender lemonade. Holy cow, that lemonade is so refreshing. My only real criticism is the seating. There's not much that they can do but the seating area is small and cramped. Unfortunately, the layout of the part of the building they were given does not provide them with much space for seating. read more

Love the idea behind this! The options are wonderful and staff is very friendly! Choices of fillers was excellent. Even when the "rice dispenser" had a hiccup, the staff continued on by hand to keep the line moving, and apologized many times for the delay. Our only problem was the rice wasn't cooked through. Making every bite extra crunchy. Since we took ours to go, we didn't notice until we were back on the highway unable to do anything about it. I know things happen, so we will try it again sometime to give it a second chance. read more

Fusion is like Chipotle for sushi. You choose your wrap and everything you want in it and they create the roll in front of you. All the food items were very fresh when I visited an the staff was welcoming. What stood out to me was how they took care of my friend who is vegan. When she told them she wanted vegan options they took a moment to wipe down the prep area and rolled her sushi on a fresh mat. It was like the red carpet was rolled out for my friend. The experience I had at Fusion Easton was great. The only reason I rate it a 3 out of 5 is that, simply put, there is better sushi in vicinity for the same price point. But if you like the idea of customizing your roll or need a quick bite while out shopping, this may be a good place to check out. read more

Great sushi for a great price! I stopped into this place on recommendation from a client and I was not steered wrong! You build your own roll and choose exactly the ingredients you want! In a word, delicious. I was not a ginger fan. In fact, you could say I downright hated the stuff, but something they did to it took the heat down and left a delicious ginger flavor without much of the overpowering spice. For casual sushi come here. There no large complexed menu that you have to go through to figure out what you want. Everything is pretty much straight forward. I feel that Fusian is the gateway sushi for your more traditional sushi. The experience of being able to craft your own sushi masterpiece and watch it along the way is just priceless. The other big thing is the ability to be able to be able to break away from the traditional sushi and get some of the cooked meat that they have available which is are from local sources. You have the option of chicken, beef or fried shrimp. What am I saying "or" for. You can put all three in your sushi roll if you want to. Everything tastes so fresh. The service is very speedy so you won't have such a long wait. Also fairly recently they introduced their new bowls. I have become a fan of these. Fusian in Grandview is one of my favorite restaurants. However, my experience at the Easton location was terrible. I had to wait over 5 minutes for someone to help me (while 6 associates stood around behind the counter) then one someone finally came to the counter, I had to wait even longer because they ran out of rice. On top of all of this, when I ordered a pre-made bowl, the guy helping kept putting the wrong ingredients in.
