    tonkotsu ramen

I had no idea Fusian offered ramen! I got excited and ordered from Door Dash. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can not say anything about the restaurant or the parking this time. Pros: - broth was a bit salty but had nice flavor - you can pick and choose the toppings - The pork was nice and tender. (You can't see it from the picture but there was some small pork pieces in the broth as well. ) Cons: - the portion is small. This was with the extra noodles (additional charge of $3) - noodles were soft with no bite - it's pricey! $23 (with the $3 extra noodle) for this small bowl of mediocre ramen! Door dash offered a 40% discount but I don't think I would order if it was without the discount. I'm glad I got to try it. The ramen is ok but would not order again considering the portion and the price.

Just had lunch at FUSIAN at Easton. Maria Garcia waited on us (me and my grandson) and made our rolls. She was so friendly and actually remembered my grandson from a prior visit with his mother. My grandson really enjoyed our interaction and asked me to give her a 5-star review. So this is it!! Great job Maria!! You make us want to come back again soon.

    My tofu salad bowl creation!

I've been meeting a co-worker/friend for lunch on a monthly basis for over a year now. We've been making our rounds trying new (to us) Easton restaurants - the most recent ones that offer make your own "bowls." I had checked out the menu of Fusian online and offered it for our next meet-up. The idea was gladly accepted and we made our plans. My first concern was access. Fusian is located in a land-locked area of Easton with limited entrances and exits. Additionally, the parking is not always positioned very well. Despite these concerns, I headed over and hoped for the best. I had looked for the location of the restuarant online so I knew where to park (in general) and not have to walk too far. I got lucky and quickly found a spot right where I had aimed. And this was after getting into the area without a problem (it's getting out and back onto Stelzer going the right direction which can be a b*tch). My friend was arriving just as I was. Perfect! This restaurant is much like other bowl places - where you work through line and order your food and selected "toppings" as you move down the line. I had opted for a greens bowl with roasted tofu. I love roasted tofu - just not enough to make it myself at home. My friend ordered what she thought were egg roll types things - 2 of them. She placed her ordered and they worked it up while I worked my bowl down the line. Drinks - they do no have fountain soft drinks - only a few canned soda and fountain drinks I've never heard of. So I got water. My friend got a can of Coke. We picked up silverware and found an open table to sit at. As it turns out - my friend ended up with 2 orders of what she called a CA roll type this. Not what she had planned to order but good all the same. She offered me one (order had 6) but I had piled on EVERYTHING on my bowl. Actually - lots of healthy stuff and no dressing. But it was LOADED. So I declined her offer. Needless to say, I dug into my bowl and ate the whole thing! It was delicious. Although, when you get to build your own - can you really go that wrong?? Pricewise - I think the cost was in line with other places. I was very ticked off that the promtional coupon I had would not load to the app and the cashier was unable to help me with it. That was honestly why I had picked this place out. Another bonus - no drink cost since they don't have what I like. And finally, no server to tip. All to say - I like the total being much lower than having table service at other restaurants. I hate spending over $20 for lunch. And this trip was only around $13. Getting out of the area was not too bad. So I guess it's much better during the day - as opposed to shopping over at Whole Foods on the weekend or any time in the evening. Will I be back? Nope. Hubby doesn't like this food and I don't foresee suggesting it myself. Been there, done that. And I'm still pissed about not being able to use my coupon. (Yelp Eliters - remember getting it in last year's swag bag? Anyone else have better luck that me using it??)

For a fast casual restaurant, I gotta say this place surprised me! I went in solely focused on sushi, so I can't comment on the bowls. I liked their sushi roll options, so I went with the spicy tuna roll instead of customizing. Although I tasted zero spice, the roll was very yummy! A solid choice that I would order again! I also ordered the cucumber salad and even though it was *literally* just cut up cucumber with dressing, it was refreshing to eat after my sushi. At first, I thought I would be starving after eating only one roll, but I left feeling a 6/10 on fullness. So, not uncomfortable, but not hungry either. This is definitely a suitable place if you're looking for lighter and healthier options! Prices are pretty standard for fast casual and the service was quick.

First time trying Fusion, wanted something a little healthier and different than what I normally eat for takeout! I got a customized bowl. White rice, salmon, veggies, sauces. The food itself was very good and I felt like the portions were pretty good sized! My only negatives was I thought $14 was a little pricey for a bowl, the service was just okay. Told them it was my first time here so wasn't sure on ordering, they didn't offer any help or recommendations. & the cleanliness of the place could have been better! I can see myself coming back if I wanted something quick and easy! But definitely not an everyday thing!

First Time Customer. Packaging is good. Order is accurate. Food was not delicious. Very disappointing. Ordered California rolls and Spicy Tuna rolls and cucumber salad and ginger orange salad and miso soup and chicken rice bowl. Very bland flavor in sushi rolls. Miso soup meh... salads blah. Best thing was the chicken rice bowl. Last time. Will not order again.

It was my first time building my own bowl at Fusian. Overall it was a good experience~ the instruction was easy to follow, and the price was reasonable for the amount of the food I got. I really liked the wasabi mayo and sweet soy sauce together to mix with the rice bowl.

This was on my Columbus to do list. It was nice out so I made sure to visit. Nice spot, friendly staff and clean location. I informed them that it was my first time there..so they explained the menu, options/choices and did not rush me. I ordered a spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo, spicy edamame and a miso soup. All was good!!

We used the app to order and it was fairly easy to use and it was nice to see all the possible options. The order was placed for pickup at 5:15pm and it was ready right on time as we walking in the door. The restaurant is small, but there is plenty of room for several people to eat there comfortably. As for the roll, I was apprehensive ordering on the app that it might not be quite the same. However, it was delicious as always with no errors. The gyoza were good as well, crunchy on the outside which I like. Overall, a great experience at this location.

I love Fusian. All clean and healthy ingredients. I don't feel guilty eating here as it is loaded with goodness. They add generous amounts of filling in the sushi. I love their shrimp tempura with tempura topping; it is my favorite sushi here. I tried their dessert mango sticky rice as a togo order, and I hated it. To begin with, it wasn't packaged well. They had packed the rice in a regular size transparent plastic cup, and it was topped with few mango pieces. It was too oily and fatty. I had tried mango stick rice in different places and found the one from fusian disgusting since I know how a real one tastes. So that is my only complaint here.

First time we tried it and love it. My lunch - mango ahi tuna bowl tasted so good. Also dessert treat as mango sticker rice was taste great! Love flavor variety drink lemonade. Sushi taste so good too!

    Ashleigh B.

Pickup order Crunchy shrimp roll was very delicious Salmon roll needed a little assistance w flavor. Added in my ginger, wasabi and soy sauce then yum yum when I got home. Ginger salad-huge, tasty, lots of lettuce and great price. Huge pieces, they did not shy away from giving big bites.. Will try again, explore the menu further.

The edamame stood out because they generous with the flaky salt, which I personally loved. Sometimes places hold back, but this was well seasoned. 3. Customer Service (2.5/5) This is where things started to fall apart a bit. I stood at the front for about 12 minutes before being acknowledged, and the restaurant was nearly empty. I had to make eye contact with someone in the kitchen just to be seated. Service at the table wasn't much better. It took about 15 minutes just to get my drink order taken (which I had to flag the waitress down to order), and by that time I was ready to order my whole meal. I ordered an appetizer along with a couple of sushi rolls and some sake. I'm not sure if the waitress wasn't thinking about it, but she brought my rolls out before she even brought out my appetizer or my drink. The inconsistency was noticeable and took away from the experience. 4. Overall Taste (4.5/5) The food absolutely carried! I ordered a sweet potato roll and the Hoonie Roll, which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Both were fresh, flavorful, and really well-balanced. Paired with the edamame and sake, everything came together nicely. 5. Overall Experience (3.9/5 ) Taking everything into account, the experience lands just under a 4. The food and atmosphere were strong, but the service created a noticeable disconnect. It's definitely one of those places where you'd go back for the food, but you'd hope the service catches up next time.

We were there around noon on a Sunday so they were not very busy but that was okay with us. I had made a Resy reservation because they recommended it. The interior is decorated very well and the light is slightly dimmed for a nice ambiance! They have really nice, and solid, dinnerware and glassware. We started with the crab rangoon tarts, 3 in an order, and the edamame. The tart shells were so buttery and the filling was the usual luscious crab mix. The edamame comes with salt or spicy, we chose salt. There was enough for all 3 of us. The drinks we chose were the Gin & Tea and the Lychee Martini. Both were delicious and the foam on both were handshaken and so creamy. The Gin & Tea was a surprise winner and I highly recommend it. We ordered 5 rolls. The Naruto, Center, Fantastic, Tiger and Dancing Salmon. I love Naruto rolls without the rice and nori, instead wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber. This one was well made and stayed together when using my chopsticks. It allows the fish to shine! The Center Roll had spicy tuna and a topping of avocado, masago and spicy mayo. It's what you would expect and well done. The Tiger Roll has a mix inside and on top. Each bite was a little different and delicious. The Fantastic Roll was just that! It had a lobster salad inside and slightly scorched Japanese scallops on top. The smokiness of the scallop was surprising and delicate and complemented the sweeter lobster salad. The Dancing Salmon roll had eel inside and salmon outside. I'm not a huge eel fan but this roll I ate and enjoyed. I hadn't had good restaurant sushi since NYC and this was up there with it. And after that soft opening with a regular menu, this week they introduced an all-you-can-eat menu as well. So of course I got there as soon as I could. Quite an extensive menu for AYCE too, though not as big as their standard one. And full of interesting stuff. Nigiri, raw rolls, cooked rolls, deep-fried rolls, specialty rolls, apps, ramen, hibachi, and more. I wanted to try everything, but even though I arrived hungry I just couldn't. Maybe 25 years ago I could have eaten twice as much, and when the students hear about this they will clean them out. It's just down from where Japanese Oriental Restaurant used to be, and I used to save up and pig out there with my friends. Now I eat a bit less, but I still figure I had about $60 worth of sushi for $30. I started with seaweed salad- big portion, and very tasty. Fresh and a little spicy. Then unagi- two big pieces, excellent, tender and flavorful. Then maguro- good, melt in your mouth. Next I tried their "dragon eggs"- deep fried avocado with kani and tuna. OMG. Again, a big portion (two whole avocados, halved and stuffed. Finally, two big rolls: the High Street roll with spicy tuna, and the Seashore roll with salmon, kani, and more. Wow. Big, and tasty. Best sushi in town? No, but up there. Really good. Service was great. They open at noon, at least on weekdays, and I was the first one in. The decor is cool- it's an old house, and they have made it modern but with vintage touches. The bathrooms and waiting area are super cool. If you like a bargain, you'll love it. $27, yes, not cheap; but for sushi it's not bad, and for AYCE sushi it is a steal. Atmosphere was modern and soothing. You can get ramen, cooked dishes like tempura, salads, all kinds of things. There's a full bar as well, and areas with cozy or romantic seating. The design was actually pretty cool, you could eat with a group or sit up at a bar by yourself and feel very comfortable either way. The sushi menu itself includes more traditional Japanese sushi, which honestly is what I'd recommend from the AYCE menu. They even have sashimi, which is cut thinly- which is fine, if you want more you can just order more, that prevents excessive waste. Most AYCE places wouldn't offer sashimi anyway. But the traditional sushi, sashimi and rolls were the ones we liked best. The more Americanized rolls with the alternative (non-nori) wraps were not as delicious, in our opinion. We couldn't figure out what it was, whether it was the wraps or an ingredient in the chopped sushi roll fillings. But there's a ton on this menu that was good. Will eat here again. Oh and a short note on large groups- maybe this is not the spot to go with a massive group? It's more of an intimate dining experience, although they do seem to allow big groups. I only mention this because I saw a negative review about slow service for large groups before we went and then the evening we went a group of maybe 10-12 college students impatiently waited by the door to be seated, even though the servers were polite and had to wait for multiple tables to clear at the same time to push together seat such a large group in a smallish restaurant- the patrons kept coming in and trying to sit at random tables before it was their turn. If you have a massive group I'd say split into multiple tables or maybe choose a different, larger or chain restaurant, like El Vaquero or Buffalo Wild Wings? Anyway I hope they left a good tip because the workers were very professional and the group was very large and very impatient.
