I used to order from here pretty frequently and never had an issue. Today, I noticed a fishy smell from my tuna rolls & talked myself into ignoring that because it looked and tasted fine. Before I finished the first roll, my whole face began flushing hot and I got a terrible headache. All the symptoms so far sound like scombroid food poisoning (which can occur when tuna isn't refrigerated properly). Ordered a few of my favorite rolls for delivery to my office a few weeks ago. I ordered the Spicy Scallop Roll, Salmon Roll and two pieces of the red Tobiko sushi. What I liked- I liked how the spicy scallop roll had full pieces of scallop that you could see (see pictures) and that the salmon roll contained a good serving of fish. The tobiko also tasted good. What I didn't like- the fish did not taste fresh. The salmon definitely had a fishy taste and there were several pieces that were chewy and fibrous and I had to spit them out- gross! I love this restaurant! However, I order pickup a lot, and my order often comes out wrong. I pay extra for sauces and don't receive them. I'm supposed to receive rice with a combo, and clarify that I want rice in the instructions, and they still don't give it to me! They were so bad, the fish portion of the rolls were tiny, and the rice was squished so compactly from the mat that the texture seemed off! The service here is attentive and fast but I think that's because theres not that many customers! Lol. Take the extra 5 minute drive and go to mintea. Never have I ever... had such terrible sushi. I hate giving a 1-star reviews, as they are often dismissed as an angry customer or considered a one-time problem. But the food was B-A-D! We ordered some gyoza, edamame, and a bunch of rolls. The tuna looked and tasted very, very old; it had a weird gray/purple color. The salmon was flavorless. The futomaki roll had such 'hard' components as to be nearly inedible; they needed to be pickled much better. They also messed up the order, substituting a very unappetizing expensive 'specialty' roll for what we actually ordered (a Rainbow Roll). I guess they couldn't risk/disguise all the exposed, raw fish on the Rainbow roll, which would have shown how old their sushi inventory is. Never again. I had the pleasure of eating here today! The location was ok. It was easy to find with lots of free parking. The outside of the restaurant looks really drab and if I hadn't looked at the reviews I never would have stopped to eat somewhere like this just judging by the outside. Inside it is quite pleasant. Fairly average looking, but with some modern decor. The service was great and they kept my tea full and hot, which is very appreciated. The servers were nice and our food came out quickly. Our food didn't come out at the same time though. They didn't have any alcohol, but offered to serve it to us if we were to bring some, so that's nice. The food was played beautifully and tasted good. Felt pretty fresh and had good flavor combinations. They have a quite hefty menu, and I appreciated the wet wipe. read more

Did a takeout order of an assortment of sushi rolls. All were delicious and as many others have said the sushi was the freshest tasting I've had in the area and the rice was perfectly prepared, not mushy or pasty. The shrimp tempura roll was only 5 pieces where the others were 8 pieces but the width of the pieces were 2 times the size of the other rolls because they use multiple pieces of shrimp which I found to be more fulfilling and tasty. The owners/staff were very friendly and aimed to please. Looking forward to ordering again soon. read more

Philly rolls in Morris county are inconsistent, either made with cucumber or avocado and I prefer avocado. There was no description on the site so I took a gamble and lost. However, I could see myself coming back! Our server was extremely nice, every time she cleared our plates she asked if we enjoyed the food and made sure we were done before actually clearing the plate! For years I've heard great things about Fusha, but it's all the way across town and I do love my regular go-to place. Well last week I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did because it was a great meal. I had a bit more than I would normally eat, but it was really delicious and I turned the sushi into a bit of sashimi and didn't eat all the rice. I ordered the sushi special and a Rock n Roll which was shrimp tempura inside and eel and avocado on top and drizzled with the sweet eel sauce. The sushi was really tasty and fresh and the portions were larger than I'm used to, but the great part was that they didn't add a giant lump of rice with each piece. Fusha also gives you a choice of salad or soup when you order the sushi combo...nice touch that costs them almost nothing. While I felt like I was cheating on my regular place. I'm now torn as I like this place maybe a bit more. Gonna have to try it again... read more

I had a great experience here recently. This place is easy to miss in a strip mall next to a pharmacy. Inside is very nicely decorated. We went in on a hot day and they had the AC blasting: but as soon as we mentioned it was a bit chilly they turned the air down and really accommodate their guests. Fast great service & friendly staff. The had a large selection to choose from and accommodated substitutions; and had vegetarian friendly options. At the end we were offered fresh cold watermelon! Favorite Part: The COVID protocol was the most adorable thing that I've seen, with a little bell to ring up the staff, and a box that allows deliveries to pass through from the inside to your side, where you're waiting. Dragon Roll was BOMB. Fu Sha Roll was somewhat disappointing, not in taste, but in how it was drowned with sauce, which also soaked into the rice and made it squishy. Disappointed. The yellowtail and squid are five star fishes. Squid tempura is tender and not at all like calamari. Worth getting. Service is good but a little slow at peak times (I'm looking at you, lunch) - but come on, they're making fresh rolls for you, calm down Steve. The negatives are some of the side accoutrements. The "salad" is just lettuce with dressing. Miso soup is light on tofu and bland. I almost feel like I've had better sides at dinner than lunch, in which case consistency is the main issue. Cant believe it took me so long to review this place. We have been regulars for the last 4 years. As far as I'm concerned this is the best sushi place I have even been to and been to quite a few. They make some great appetizers also. We love "The Daffy" It's a Duck Roll that is delicious. Their specialty rolls are awesome. Here are a few of our favorites. Big Billy Roll, Parsippany Roll, Happy Holiday, Volcano Roll, Sexy Susan just to name a few. They used to have a three piece Jazz Band on Saturday nights. Wish they would bring it back. I didn't expect to like Fu Sha so much, but their lunch special is really hard to beat: 2 rolls for $8.95 and that comes with a miso soup and salad too. I thought that it was choose one of the two, but it comes with both. I chose the avocado/cucumber and salmon/avocado rolls which tasted really good. The salmon was very fresh and a pleasant surprise (especially at these prices). I also sampled a piece of my friend's shrimp tempura roll which was absolutely delicious. Their miso soup is some of the best that I've had, and the salad dressing is quite good as well. I asked a question about how the meat was constructed for one item on the menu ('does this come as a crab stick with rice and seaweed wrapped around it?') . The server said yes. When it came it was actually a disk of rice wrapped in a band of seaweed paper with shredded crab on top. That's not a stick. It was good, sure. It wasn't what I thought it would be though. I was really looking forward to eating one solid piece of crab. Also- a lot of the fish was ground up like a paste. I've encountered this before. I'm not a fan. One of the rolls I ordered had crawfish but you really wouldn't know because it was mashed up with something and was more like a fish paste inside a roll than crawfish meat.
