A plate features a sushi roll with avocado, tomato, and sesame seeds, garnished with chopped green onions. Fried wontons with mayonnaise drizzle are arranged around the sushi, with a small container of dipping sauce on the side. The dish is served on a dark-colored plate, likely at a restaurant setting.

Excellent dinner. Loved the avocado toast appetizer - nicely done and really tasty. The Poke Bowl was one of the best poke meals I've had. Nice portion and high quality ingredients. Would have loved another chip or two with it... Could eat that a couple times a week.

Raw burger - A burger with a beef patty, cut in half to show the cooked meat inside, is served on a white plate. The burger bun appears soft and golden. French fries are placed next to the burger, and a small piece of lettuce is visible on the side. The background includes a dark bowl and a glass of water, indicating a dining setting.

My first time and husbands second. We came back because of how much he raved about this place and it was definitely a let down the 2nd time. We came as a group of 6 and only 3 people had their meals come out good. My kids (who got pizza and wings) and my husband who got tacos. My steak came out cold. My mom's burger was raw, and they forgot chicken in my dad's pasta. They did end up being taken off with free desert. But it just falls on service being bad. Took forever to come to our table and then never wrote anything down when taking our order. Food was good once it was fixed and dessert was absolutely amazing. But with that experience, prolly wouldn't come back....

Two cocktails are on a dark bar counter, one pink with whipped cream and a straw, and the other beige with a frothy top. Surrounding items include a lemon wedge, a shaker, and small bowls of garnishes. The setting appears to be a bar or restaurant with a modern interior.

Stopped into Fuse'd for a quick drink. We were greeted and then welcome to sit at the bar. They had a seasonal cocktail menu that we decided to try. They were delicious. The ambiance was nice. There was music playing and they do have tvs around the area. The space was welcoming and I am excited to go back to try their food menu!

We frequent Chop'd & Fuse'd in Plainfield, restaurants by the same owners. We find the food and service consistently good. Management does a great job hiring experienced waiters and bartenders. You always feel like you're in good hands with friendly, polite and capable servers. I love the cocktails at Fuse'd, especially the Miserable in the Midwest. It cures my misery! Most everything on the menu is really good. I could live on Wagyu Bites. The bowls are delicious. Korean Beef & Butter Chicken are my favorites although the Korean Beef can be heavy on sauce & salt at times. The Fuse'd Molcajete is a restaurant specialty is is a great dish for sharing. The tacos are excellent as is the bread pudding. I have not tried the filet here, but it's likely a solid choice based on my experience with Chop'd 's filet. Finally, we've visited this restaurant through all seasons & the ambience has always been comfortable in temperature and noise level. In terms of pricing, I believe this restaurant is a great value for the quality and complexity of the meals served.

Lobster deviled eggs - A white, round plate contains lobster deviled eggs topped with bacon pieces and chopped chives, arranged around shredded carrots. A black spoon with a creamy dipping sauce rests on the plate. The background shows glasses and a vase on a dark table surface, indicating a dining setting.

Made reservations for 4 on a Saturday. The space is beautiful and the garage windows were a nice touch and allow in a great breeze. The music playlist was great. Service was phenomenal, Damian was our server and I will 100% request for him again when we come back. He had awesome recommendations and was very attentive despite how busy they were. The food was delicious and it's a large variety. Only thing that wasn't good was the wagyu bites, they were quite chewy.

We decided to try here tonight after not being able to get on over winter. They had a 2 hour wait when we last tried without a reservation, which we took as a good sign! Tonight we were seated right away at about 5:15 on a Friday, though it did fill up shortly after. We started with drinks which were so good. One of the better espresso martinis I've had! We got a pizza and a burger and both were yummy, though the burger was slightly dry. We loved the vibe of the restaurant, especially the bar. We will def be back!

Menu 2024 - A printed menu displays a list of cocktails, spirits, and related beverages, including sections for signature cocktails, spirits, and whiskey. The menu is printed on a single sheet of paper with a decorative background and is laid flat on a dark surface, possibly a table in a bar or restaurant setting.

Great ambiance service and food! Sat at the bar and the cocktails are very different and delicious! The appetizers are mouthwatering and shareable! The place is very nicely decorated and looks like it should be in DT Chicago not DT Plainfield so it's a nice change.

Puff Pastry Empanada - A large puff pastry empanada with a golden, flaky crust is placed on a rectangular ceramic plate. The empanada is garnished with chopped green onions and surrounded by small portions of shredded vegetables, including carrots and purple cabbage. A glass of water with a textured surface is positioned in the background. The dish appears to be served in a casual dining setting, emphasizing the crispy pastry and colorful garnishes.

Went day 3 after opening. Ambiance was nice. The music was at the perfect volume and there were tv's playing music videos associated with the music. It for sure has an upscale bar vibe at times with the amount of tv screens but they offer an extra bit of entertainment for those sitting at the bar so I get it. There is also a section of the bar that opens to the patio which is great for spring through fall. Our server was Hailey and she was very polite and attentive. The food and drinks were very good. We ordered the empanadas which were braised beef housed inside a puff pastry. Super flakey crust and tender meat with nice flavor. My husband got the steak and said that this is one of the best steaks he has had eating out in a really long time. I ordered the seafood pasta. The flavor was great it has a nice sweet buttery chili sauce and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The only hiccup was that the menu said lobster and calamari were served in the dish but none were in sight. We mentioned it to Hailey and management offered to make us a new one, even though they really didn't have too. When the refire on the seafood pasta came out, it ironically had no seafood. An easy miscommunication on a busy first weekend after just opening. The owner stopped by, we had a laugh and he ended up removing the pasta from the bill. I did however look at photos of the pasta online when I returned home and did not see evidence of lobster or calamari, so I'm not sure how those two ingredients are used in this dish...maybe for the stock.?. For sips, I had a cucumber smoked tequila cocktail and my husband had a citrus whiskey cocktail. Both fine drinks. The ratios seemed off a bit, not in the way of lack of alcohol, but it didn't stop us from getting two each. All and all a good times were had by all.

Huli-Huli Chicken - The image shows a roasted chicken leg with a golden-brown skin, topped with a vegetable relish. Accompanying the chicken are a portion of rice with black beans, a mixed vegetable medley, and a vegetable garnish, all arranged on a white plate. The presentation includes a green leaf underneath the chicken and a metal fork piercing the chicken leg.

Could probably hold a huge wedding or Shower party there. Love the decor and food was great. I think they have a coat check, but I'm not sure. The coats didn't stay well on the chairs. And can't hang your purse on the back either. I ended up putting my purse between my shoes. Had the mimosa flight and was able to try all of their flavored mimosas. They were pretty tart. But I like the strawberry lemon the most. Got the eggs Benedict with the smoked salmon. Came with a side of potatoes and peppers. Then ended with the sticky toffee pudding. Definitely recommend as it melts into your mouth. The waiters were really nice and was able to do split checks with no issues. There are street parking and a small parking lot not far from the restaurant. There were signs on the street that helped guide me to the parking lot.

My friends that came here prior say that whenever they booked with the reservation they were able to get a seat upstairs. We weren't dining in, we were only staying for a few drinks but this place was really cozy and the waitress who took care of us throughout our time here was very friendly and social. Great selection of drinks to choose from and there's even non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails as well. It can be a bit pricey coming here as well as a bit tricky trying to find a parking spot but it's a great place to stop at!

O.M.B. (ONE MAGNIFICENT BURGER)…read more Their name doesn't say it, but Next Whiskey Bar serves an incredible burger. I know my way around a sandwich, and I have to say the offerings at NWB in downtown Plainfield are some of the best around. Look for the blue & white house on Lockport St, and you'll know you've found it. NWB doesn't take reservations, however you can join an online waitlist. Park on the street or in a small lot adjacent to the building. The beer selection is fantastic, a pint ($8) never disappoints although I usually lean towards a Hefeweizen or pilsner with my meal. Yeah yeah, I know this is a WHISKEY bar, but yours truly doesn't do the brown liquor.....bad experience with Jägermeister as a kid. For appetizers, the cheese curds ($14) are pricey but oh-so-worth it. They come with a cilantro aioli and we get an order of these every single visit. The cauliflower popcorn ($11) is also a very worthy choice for starters; roasted and seasoned cauliflower florets are served with a sumptuous clarified butter. Their house NWB Burger ($16.50) is a busy affair, with pork belly, bbq sauce, onion straws and cheese curds on a pretzel bun. The Big Jer ($15.25) is a much simpler yet equally stellar burger with 2x4oz patties, lettuce, tomato, and Merkt's cheddar spread served with a pickle spear. I recently tried the Suribachi ($15.50) and it blew my mind. A 1/2lb patty is lightly fried in tempura batter, then topped with pepperjack cheese, wasabi coleslaw and sriracha on a brioche bun. Next time, I'm giving the El Toro a shot (pickled habaneros, corn guac). My wife loves the pork belly mac ($16), a good portion of cheesy cavatappi pasta with crispy pork belly. Their Cubano ($15) is solid and the Taylor Street panini ($15) is a tasty Italian grinder, with prosciutto, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato and olive spread on focaccia bread. NWB's homemade chips are amazing, I always opt for them instead of fries (which are also great). Bread = 5+ Circuses = 4.5 Service has been generally fine, but last visit it took a long time for our server to come by initially. The inside of this converted house is somewhat cramped so if the weather allows, I suggest dining 'al fresco'. Their outdoor patio definitely passes the vibe check. I honestly can't decide whose doughnuts are better, Empire in Naperville or Next Whiskey Bar's. It might be a tie! In any case, we ALWAYS end a meal here with the fried doughnuts ($11) that come with a heavenly whiskey caramel sauce for dipping. * TL;DR * In my mind, NWB stands for "Nirvana, With Burgers". Everything we've gotten here has exceeded expectations. Cheese curds, cauliflower popcorn, pork belly pasta, doughnuts and of course burgers all stand out. I would get the Suribachi again in a HEARTBEAT. The ambiance is ideal for date night and small groups, and with a small dining area that fills up fast, come early or expect a wait. Next Whiskey Bar is one of my favorite restaurants in the western suburbs, I highly recommend them.
