He didn't have the part on hand, so I paid for the part and the service call. He estimated 7-10 business days, but they got it in just 3, so my oven was back up and running in less than a week. After he installed the igniter, we ran a test on all the functions and discovered the convection wasn't working. He pulled the stove out, ran a diagnostic, and showed me that the control board was burnt out and not getting power. Replacing it would run $600, so I chose to hold off since the oven itself works fine and I rarely use the convection feature but I'll definitely be calling them back when I'm ready, because a new range runs about $4K and that's not a conversation I want to have right now. Total cost for the igniter repair was $300. The tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and got the job done without any drama. I highly recommend Top Repair they'll get you up and running again without breaking the bank, and the quality of work is top notch.

It's usually something that you need right away, but you don't want to spend unnecessarily. Top Repair confidently walked me through the whole process. They have a very tightly organized customer service response, they use the technology well to respond to quote requests and information calls quickly. Then, for a standard fee, they will come and assess the issue, and then that whole fee goes toward paying for the repair if you choose to use them. The person who came out was the owner, Bagy (BAH-gee). He was amazing. Quickly understood the problem, quoted me the cost of parts and repair, ordered the part and came 2 days later and finished the job quickly. Very calm, cool, and direct about everything. Later, a further issue came up (something we both feared might happen) and he came and did another assessment, fixed some programming as part of the visit, gave me really good options and, if the problem persists, I can call him back, he knows what needs to be done and today's consultation fee still applies to the final job! These guys will not play with you. They will figure out the issue, get it fixed, and be done quickly and neatly. They're in my speed dial now. It's so nice to have someone that I can call regularly for a whole house full of issues.

However, in that time he shored up a leak with a temporary patch and had an estimate of how much work it would be to take care of everything, which ended up being much more reasonable than some other places we evaluated. Adam came back when he had enough open schedule to fix everything and some parts were shipped in. An incredibly nice guy, and just an incredibly fair and integrity oriented operation. All the vendors I evaluated were five stars with many reviews, but Letts was the only one that didn't feel like I was being upsold and he was just out there to help me solve my problems. Honestly can't wait to hire them again, which is an absurd thing to say about a plumber, but man what a great experience. I will rave about them to anyone who will listen.

I don't understand why my review was removed- Fuse came to look at my dishwasher and told me two boards had to be replaced at over $600. The tech took a $250 and never returned to do the repair despite multiple calls. We got another company to come in they said it was the auction box on the cord. More importantly, Udiel (the owner) and his team are all responsive, friendly and helpful. When our heating system broke down over the holidays, they still were able to have a guy come out on Dec 26 (despite being closed) to identify the issue and order us a replacement part. He told us what needed to be done to prevent it from happening again -- essentially the crazy winds knocked the cover off a unit off roof loose and water got in. They managed to secure us a part quickly and replaced in before we had friends come over for New Years Eve. So grateful for their help during the holidays. Cannot recommend Reyes enough!

Jimmy Reyes arrived at 8am Friday morning to take a look and told us they could fix the furnace, but since it was old there was a possibility something else would fail in the future. We had installed the furnace and A/C condenser together in 2002 and decided the best course of action would be to replace both. Jimmy told us that the A/C unit would require a permit and that might slow down installation, and provided a competitive estimate. Fortunately, we were leaving for a week's vacation the following day but Reyes dropped off some space heaters to keep us warm in the meantime. A week later, Reyes arrived promptly at 8am to install the new furnace and A/C (having secured the permit). The team introduced themselves (so polite!) and placed tarps, etc. to protect our flooring. They worked diligently and completed the entire job in 2 days! Not only that, but they removed the registers and sealed all the ducts to maximize the heating and cooling. We could not be happier. The new furnace and A/C are super energy efficient, quiet and effective. Reyes Heating and Air set the standard for excellence and customer service.

After spending an over an hour trying to determine the issue with our dishwasher, he suspected that it might be an issue with the pump. He orders the pump, comes back in 3 days with the new pump, installs it and then determines that the issue was not the pump at all but was due to a leak from our main faucet that was causing the sensor on the dishwasher to think that it was leaking! After all of that, including the 2 visits, he wasn't going to charge us anything!!! I gave him some money because he deserved something for his time! But I couldn't believe that he wasn't going to charge my anything! In this day and age when everyone is trying to nickel and dime you to death and/or overcharge you for simply coming out to check on a problem, I found Mikhail to be a breath of fresh air! I subsequently hired him to fix a separate issue with our ice maker. And he of course fixed that quickly and at a reasonable rate! Would highly recommend!

Everything is disposable these days but it's not yet time to replace your oven. #3 - Call Mikhail, owner of MC Appliance Repair. He can diagnose and fix your oven (and probably any other large appliance that isn't operating as it should). I have a double oven so one non-working oven wasn't a deal-breaker but I missed broiling salmon while roasting brussels sprouts. I priced double ovens and learned not only are they expensive, but there's so many different sizes that replacing what I've got likely also requires some costly carpentry work. It was easy to book an appointment with Mikhail. He arrived on time and readily diagnosed the problem. He stated a repair cost and said he could return as soon as he had the part (which was ordered that day). A couple days later he was back and my oven - both halves - are now working. And, he seconded the notion that one should never use the "self-cleaning" feature of an oven. MC Appliance Repair was neither cheap nor expensive but rather, far less than the cost of replacing my entire double oven. The cost of the visit is rolled into the overall estimate so, unless you fail to move forward with a repair, you're not being charged any additional amount. MC Appliance Repair operates in my neighborhood. The owner is smart, knowledgeable, timely, and gets things back to working as intended. Just knowing about Mikhail leave me feeling like my appliances - all of them - have a much longer shelf life than I'd otherwise assumed.
