When shopping at this boutique please BEWARE. Ask all the medical questions and read all the paperwork while you're there because they are not gonna disclose any information they deem unnecessary. We got a puppy from them 2 Saturdays ago and when we brought her home she was coughing and lethargic. We sent them a video to show the cough and voiced our concern because we were going to take her to the hospital. We were told not to because they said it was a minor cold a that didn't warrant a trip to the hospital. We brought her back to the store which is an hour away from where we live the next day to be treated for kennel cough because we have another dog and she couldn't be around him. They said they were taking her to their vet on 1/6 that Monday. Throughout the week we had to keep following up on her and they said she wasn't coughing but they started her on the antibiotics on 1/6 based on the video we sent. Another worker said she was coughing infrequently and can go home on Friday. We picked her up Saturday 1/11 and when we got her home she was coughing which we understood could be residual so that wasn't an issue. But when we looked at the scripts they sent her home with we noticed they were dated 12/31 which was 5 days before we even went to see her. So she had the cough, was prescribed medicine, we were never told any of this and when she went home the first time with us, they never gave us the meds. When I brought it up they said the 12/31 date the vet put on scripts as the filled date was back dated to her initial exam date. I'm sorry but no vet, doctor or vet pharmacy would put a date on a script that wasn't the date they actually prescribed and filled the medicine. We also received an updated health summary via text message that we read through and that's when we learned she had a small hernia which was not disclosed and when I asked about it we were told it's no big deal and when you get her her spayed any additional cost to get it fixed they'll cover it (I'm 1000% sure being reimbursed 8 months later would not be easy). I did mention how disappointed I was in everything did say that if we keep her I would like some of our money back (because she want cheap) and they must not have wanted to do that because they did not respond. We should've been informed of everything prior so we could make the decision on whether we wanted to take her. At the end they offered a full refund due to the hernia not being disclosed and while they responded to text messages I would say I am not happy about their customer service and the way this whole situation was handled. I met Cindy the first Sunday we dropped the puppy off and the only reason we learned her name and that she was the owner was because we asked. Even the day we dropped the puppy off no one said anything and she literally got up took the dog and walked to the back of the store as if we did something wrong. They only seem to care about the $$$ and are not for the well being of the pets. They have many good reviews but this was our experience. REMEMBER BUYER BEWARE read more

After losing our dog Gatsby, we sought out a mini f1b male golden doodle and stumbled upon furrylicious online. We went to visit and ended up leaving with our dog Enzo(named Frankie at the time). Enzo is an amazing boy and we love him dearly. We unfortunately didn't have a great experience with the owner of the store. After bringing Enzo to the vet we learned that he had giardia which is common in puppies and got that taken care of. When I reached out to the owner to ask for confirmation of any vaccines that were given to Enzo as they just gave us a print out with random dates on it. No tags or receipts from the vet that administered the vaccines. That's where the fun began. You can tell the owner has been called out many times in the past by previous clients by the way she replied. Calling me condescending because I asked for an actual record for the dog I bought. All she does is spew nonsense about how she's "usda licensed and follows their guidelines". Pretty pathetic to constantly throw the usda license nonsense in our face but then have nothing to back it up. Eventually she sent over a photo of stickers showing the vaccines. Who knows if they're the ones given to Enzo as they're just placed on a sheet of paper with no other info. The staff there is great, they're sweet and kind. The owner though leaves something to be desired. She lacks professionalism, and courtesy. I won't say don't go buy a dog from them because every puppy deserves a great home. Just do your homework on her, there's tons of stuff out there on this lady and her attitude problem. I paid $3k for a mini golden doodle who they claimed wouldn't exceed 25-30lbs fully grown. He's almost 6 months old, and over 50lbs and about as tall as a German Shepard. We wouldn't trade Enzo for anything in the world but it's just another case of this lady being full of it. My dream dog - a beautiful little Maltese female was very sick with loose green bowel movements and agitation. For 2 nights she did not sleep more than 3 hours a night.She was teething and was biting everything she saw. She actually could be described as feral.She came from a breeding facility that had very bad reviews. It was over a weekend and could not get her to vet. I brought her back to Furrylicious with 100.00 worth of food,toys and essentials. The dog was 4,000.00. She has No Returns stamped on receipt,doors and every available surface. After the loss of our beloved dog, we decided to offer love & a good home to another. We researched shelters and breeders. But there were wait lists for puppies, older dogs with serious issues, or online websites shipping young pups. None of those options were right for us. Then we found Furrylicious. It's a pretty place with a large selection of adorable puppies. They are pricey but we fell in love with 2 little cuties! Unfortunately, they had guardia, kennel cough & tapeworms. They needed treatment but are fine now. Also, a DNA test showed a different breed than what we were told. It's not a deal breaker but something to know. We are very happy with our choice. I got my beautiful Cavo-poo puppy from here. The staff seemed nice and the experience was pleasant. The salon did have a bit of a smell, but what can you expect with so many young puppies that are going potty ... I will say my one point of dissatisfaction is how many illnesses my little guy came with. I've had him a month and a half and I'm still treating him for issues that he caught at the shop. Just common puppy stuff like kennel cough, Giardia, and ear mites. He came with all three! I cleared the Giardia after two rounds of medication, the kennel cough is slowly clearing up, and the ear mites medicine (we needed two rounds) is almost done. In fact, due to the issues above I had to delay his vaccines because his stomach was wrecked from the Giardia (severe diarrhea). Even though that's cleared up, he can only have prescription food or the diarrhea returns. All in all, i think this is a nice place and the staff is nice but beware that when you get a puppy from a place that has so many puppies, they get sick from each other. Due to his illnesses, I had to delay potty training outside and training classes. He's finally potty trying outside though, but it's been a journey. Regardless, I love my puppy so much and I wouldn't change it because I wouldn't have him otherwise. I have to say that if you want a beautiful puppy, they have many. We recently purchased a Maltese from Furrylicious and wanted to share our wonderful experience with everyone. If we could give this facility more than 5 stars, we would!! Furrylicious is an incredibly clean facility and the staff and owner are incredible! They not only care about their puppies but are also beyond helpful and want to make sure that their customers are informed and educated before making this long term commitment. One of the members in our family has allergies and they allowed us to interact with the puppies for an extended period of time to make sure we were ok from an allergy standpoint. Additionally, they educated us about the puppy's dietary, grooming, and other needs. When we observed the puppies in the store, we noticed that all of the cages and play pens were spacious, well lit and clean. They also kept some of the puppies in groups -- to help them feel more comfortable and less stressed. The puppies were all well groomed and were well taken care of. After purchasing our Maltese, the store checked-in on us for a couple days to see how our puppy was adjusting and gave us some helpful tips since we were first time puppy owners. Additionally, we had an extenuating circumstance and the store owner and staff were kind enough to watch our puppy for several days while we were out of town. It was beyond kind and generous of them and in all honestly, it was a huge relief because our puppy wasn't fully vaccinated at the time and couldn't be boarded anywhere. While we were away, the staff sent us updates and photos of our puppy and took amazing care of him. I honestly don't think any other place would have helped us in such a manner! And finally, our puppy has been amazing. He is healthy and has an amazing temperament. He was practically crate trained when we brought him home, has easily adapted to our family schedule and has been a breeze to potty train so far. I bought a French bulldog from them for 4,800. 9 weeks old. That's a little young. They only had him for a couple of days. While I was in the store there was another dog that my son had a visit with that had kennel cough. No doubt. I know dog diseases and conditions well. I requested them to take him away from my son and to have my son sanitize his hands! The conditions concerned me but I kept reminding myself that they were puppies, the pee was everywhere. They only used paper towels,no cleaner, no pads or separate kennels, nor did they have a cleaning of the the dog, nothing at all. A lot of cross contamination, that's all I'll say. After purchase: I took my dog to my vet, she was confused by the records. No notes or vet name, which is SUPER shady; Only EXTREMELY aggressive deworming with heavy medication. Furrylicious told us he had clean stool, he may have if he was tested in the first few days that he was there but not after being in thief unclean conditions, of which he obviously didn't. It takes 1 1/2-2 week for anything to show up in stool from infection. They sent me home with very strong "preventative" (2) antibiotics. Of which they didn't give a lot of info on. A lot of you would know he's been around a lot of dogs... let me remind you he's is 9 WEEKS OLD, taking 4 VERY strong pills a day. I talked to the lady at the vet while I was at the vet because I wanted clarification and they just said they requested it.- that's it. I asked for records- there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Why the aggressive deworming-because they brought him in for it!? THEN when I finally got his stool back he tested positive for Giardia! Yes Cindy Knowles, GIARDIA, from your "Totally normal and not shady establishment". And guess what? He is not the only puppy my vet has from your store that tested positive from your store recently! I called to voice my concerns, I was upset of course and was screamed at by Cindy Knowles.! I will add the one voice recording of her blaming me for my son having a special need if I need too! This is such a "Sweet Woman"! Then things went really "well" from there. She asked me to bring him back. UHMMM No thank you Ma'am. This adorable puppy is not going back to a puppy mill where he is "going to be well taken care of" and "not" over medicated live in such filth. Then I was given a threat from Cindy Knowles that I would hear from her Lawyer! Pshhhh, Do your job. You still have not done the AKC paperwork, you sold me a sick puppy from a glorified puppy mill, you screamed at me, would not contact back to me. I had to track down the breeder to ask questions, which is way too much work. I really hope I can add a voice recording to this review. I have a whole boatload to the review about this. Please reply if you would like, or better yet CINDY take me to court because I would love to take your business out of the dark and expose this place. What you are doing is NOT OK! What I did not add to this review is that furrylicious will try to intimidate you with by stomping on your first amendment rights. It's been about a month since we brought Chewy home and it's been an absolutely seamless process thanks to Cindy and her staff. Within a week of picking her up, she was checking in every few days to make sure Chewy was healthy and even went out of her way to pick her up some antibiotics when she developed a kennel cough. Most recently, I was having trouble finding a groomer to give her a trim due to her young age and the manager Jess offered to do it herself - more than one month after Chewy left the store! Stopped by furrylicious because Im looking to add a small poodle mix into to my family. I've read great reviews on the store and was excited about the possibility of making our dream a reality yesterday. I asked the young girls in the shop to let me and my husband see a cotonpoo they had, after asking multiple times (they were very preoccupied about something on Instagram) they took the dog out for me. Let me stop you there. This poor dog was so sick, she could barely even stand up. She had all sorts of poop crusted on her bottom and a totally crusted beard, which I'd imagine is from throw up. My husband and I started to express some concerns and the girls tried to tell me this is how the breed was!!!!! And maybe we were interested in something more like a mini dachshund they had in stock! I'm sorry.. I'm not an idiot. This cotonpoo was/is extremely sick... I'd imagine parvo.. it's just not a breed. A few years ago, I stopped by this pet "boutique" because I saw a sign in the window that said "adopt or shop." I thought that it was a forward-thinking store that also adopts homeless dogs out because there are so many that need homes. I went inside to politely inquire about it, as the signage is confusing, and the owner immediately yelled at me before I even finished my question in an extremely condescending fashion. It was unwarranted and kind of shocking. Later, I did a bit of research. It's likely this shop gets many if not all of their dogs from puppy mills. People, it's 2021. Why would anyone support someone who works with substandard puppy mill breeders to make a quick buck? Worse yet, her brother is a veterinarian who supports this extortion from people dying to have a puppy. I know that it's not easy to adopt, especially right now in the middle of a pandemic, but there are so many homeless purebred (and mixed-breed dogs) who need homes and veterinarians (and the rest of us) should support that. Or, if you must have a dog of a specific breed, find a reputable breeder, visit the premises to inspect the facility, meet the parents of the puppies, take your time and get a well-bred dog. The other day, I noticed that Furrylicious has expanded into a larger higher-profile store. It seems the pandemic has been good for business. Do your homework before purchasing. Ask to contact breeder. Talk with them. Find history of Mother and Father. Get pictures. Don't rely on paperwork and info given to you by seller. Make sure breeder is not a puppymill. Look at inspection reports. Ask about transportation to store. Did puppy fly alone in a crate? Or maybe traveled by UPS? Check welp date and ship date. Puppies should not be taken from Mothers too soon. We have gotten comments from Vet and Groomer and Trainer that are concerning. Dog is a nipper, uses teeth. We suspect it will grow bigger than a miniature. We regret our purchase but we are loving this poor little puppy, whose life started out without a lot of love and attention. Wish I could give ZERO stars. Horrible experience. I purchased my puppy here and all was well. I took him to the vet and the vet looked at his medical binder and saw "neutered" was checked off. He was 10 weeks old when I picked him and and no one told me he was neutered when I picked him up. Neutering a dog at such a young age is very dangerous. Mind you, he did have a little scar on his belly and that made sense why. I called Cindy and she said no he wasn't neutered. A couple hours later, the store called me back and said yes actually the breeder neutered him, could be for a couple different reasons but we don't know why. I purchased pet insurance which would cover his neuter not knowing this was already done. The owner sent horrible condescending emails to me telling me to return the dog and that's the only thing they will do. Would not just tell me why he was neutered. Of course I would not return my puppy and they knew that I just wanted to know why he was neutered. STAY AWAY! It may be quite expensive but Teddy worth every penny! was never left overnight in the salon, staff brought the puppies home every night. The owner of the salon has them checked by her vet a vaccines, heart wormed & trained!! When we picked Teddy up he was groomed, she supplied us with Merrick gain free puppy food, and bully stick.. even a little jacket!! She and her staff are outstanding. Everyone shows the love, and how much they care for all puppies. Not at all disappointed he's true to his name a real emotional therapy dog. The puppy boutique was excellent they were friendly and were great communicators. I had looked on there site and found our puppy a bichpoo they were willing to zoom or FaceTime with our puppy that were looking for since we were coming from New York City and they went out of there way to help us out to see whether this puppy was for us because we had an hour drive to see our puppy. The girl who helped us Kelli Crane was so helpful because we were new puppy owners. We love our Sadie she is so sweet and friendly. The boutique is very clean and a great place to do business with them. We were very lucky to find our new family member and she fits into our family well. They went over Everything with us about Sadie. They had named her Cassie but we changed the name to Sadie and she answers to Sadie right away. We took Sadie to the vet and she checked out to be healthy and loving puppy. read more

Read it carefully Cindy....The first dog we purchased from you did not have DNA testing until the 2nd dog we purchased was obviously NOT a toy poodle. Nevertheless, I don't need my money back, the dogs are a part of our family BUT that does not let you off the hook! YOU LIED! You LIED on paper and to my face! These dogs are not purebred! My husband and I have been looking for a Maltipoo for the past several weeks. We contacted Furryliciois via text message and we were told to keep checking the website as new puppies come every couple days. We woke up Wednesday morning and low and behold they had a beautiful Maltipoo on their site, so I called. We live two hours away and I told the woman on the phone that we would be in to see the Maltipoo by 12p. After fighting traffic for two and a half hours, we finally got there. Upon walking in, we noticed that the place was spotless, and all the dogs were beautiful. Every single staff person greeted us, every single one! They all had smiles on, and they were all super helpful. We were allowed to play with the Maltipoo in a visitor area, which had been cleaned before we went in. The Maltipoo was perfect but I was having doubts. We already have a dog at home and I was just very unsure. After asking the staff a zillion questions, we agreed to purchase the dog. As we got to the register I just felt very uneasy. I loved the dog already, but I was so scared that he wouldn't get along with the dog at home. Everyone was very understanding, and did not pressure me into buying the puppy. I felt relieved, but also felt bad for wasting everyone's time. I just want to say thank you to the entire staff at furryliciois. Thank you for understanding my situation, taking steps to make sure everyone is safe during Covid, and taking care of all the beautiful puppies you have.
