My rescue dog has gastrointestinal issues that I have spent *thousands* of dollars on over the years in order to keep her safe and healthy. The staff at Cherrybrook recommended a "probiotic" and "prebiotic" goat milk product specifically for GI issues and specifically instead of the probiotics my vet prescribed. After giving this to my dog for some time, I spoke to my vet about my dog's weight increase. I showed my vet the goat milk carton and my vet said it was extremely fattening and does not help with GI issues. EVEN WORSE, my vet knew exactly where it came from AND said she's spoken to Cherrybrook staff IN PERSON more than once to tell them this product is not helpful. Yet, Cherrybrook continues to sell it for $20 a quart. Shameless. I will never shop there again and will tell everyone about my experience. read more

I had never heard of a Cherrybrook before I came here. Judging a book by it's cover, the store just seemed like an overpriced pet store. I figured it would cater to folks who thinks their dogs need a bubble bath and a massage. Boy was I wrong.. I came into here NEEDING a crate. My dog adoption was a bit unexpected (I didn't know they'd be ok with giving you one that day!) so I rushed out to Cherrybrook to buy a crate. I had been looking at crates from Petsmart/Petco and various online places before. Cherrybrook offered the same selection as the larger stores, but their pricing was better than the big stores and competed with stores on the internet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped me with the crate and offered to carry it out to my car. When I found that the crate was too large, there was no questions asked when I drove back to exchange it for a smaller size. It's also refreshing to know that the store is run by a pretty small staff. When you go in, you see the same faces and service. Over the course of a year, I have been to Cherrybrook on a number of occasions. They do tend to offer a large selection of items you'd normally only find online (treats, non-generic dog foods, raw/frozen foods, etc.) And their events (Nail Clippings, Dog Training, etc.) can offer some good deals at times. I still use some internet dealers and the big stores on occasion, but the Cherrybrook experience does blow them away. read more

A little pricey (but that's Bedminster for ya) but they do have a savings card which will save you some money down the road after you spend a certain amount. High marks for Cherrybrook all around. They are a small independently owned pet shop, but what they lack in size, they make up in the quality of their product offerings, the knowledge of their sales staff and the warm and comfortable vibe in their store. Quality leads, great toy selection, and i was blown away by their healthy food offerings, which include several refrigerator cases full of fresh foods, and a good selection of puppy baked goods as well. I was really excited to see that they had a great selection of show leads, and particularly happy to see them carrying rope style leashes which are much harder to find. Cool shop with interesting pet supplies. Its fun to shop there when you're buying something, the staff is educated and articulate. I purchased from them several times and it was a pleasant experience each time. The rub for me came when I tried to return something. I clarified their return policy before I purchased the item (with someone who Identified herself as the manager). However, when I actually tried to return the item, I was told something completely different (by someone else who identified herself as the manager). Net net, I didn't get a refund. Just came back from the most incredible photo shoot. Because I am such a ridiculously big consumer at Cherrybrook, they rewarded me (as a top-10-spender) with a photo shoot with the amazing photographer, Bernard DeLierre. The theme was action, joy and youthfulness. He shot my Belgian Tervuren puppy, Sedona in 3 different, beautiful park settings, running free and chasing the ball for over an hour. Cool store however i bought a dog collar for $35 and it broke! It was a silver choke collar. I brought it back and they would not give me an exchange or money back. They need a receipt. I ordered four items from Cherrybrook online, including a new shears ($50+) and a blade for my Oster Clipper ($25). The other two items came to a grand total of $14. After waiting all week to receive my order, on Thursday afternoon I opened the box from Cherrybrook, and found, to my dismay and surprise, they had not shipped the two most important (and expensive) items, the shears and the clipper blade. I was never previously advised these products were out of stock. These were items I needed for the weekend which I now had no way of obtaining. To add insult to injury, Cherrybrook charged me $16.99 SHIPPING & HANDLING to send me $14 worth of merchandise. The invoice included with my order contained no explanation for the missing items, nor did it include any statement of when the items might be shipped in the future. All I had was two goose-eggs on the invoice next to "Quantity Shipped," plus an unreasonable shipping charge, to boot. When I immediately called their "Customer Service" number, a recording told me they were closed, and to call back another day. The only problem with this was: I waited a week thinking I was receiving merchandise I badly needed, only to find out at the last minute they never sent it, nor did they even have it in stock. A responsible on-line merchant would have advised me of the "out-of-stock" status of half my order at the time I ordered, and would not have charged me MORE than the value of the merchandise to ship. Listen, when this place first went in, I had never heard of them, and immediately wrote it off as over priced pet-toys. Well, was I WRONG! I am now a member of the Cherrybrook club. They offer a comprehensive selection of pet foods, organic/natural etc, at prices only available on the internet. The selection is spectacular, and if you love your animals, you need to go there right now and see what you have been missing at the big box stores. Next, they offer a huge line of anti-tick and other health supplements. Almost all of their products are made/developed in the USA so you can purchase with confidence that there is not some whacky lead or mystery products from the third world to poison your animal. Lastly they have tons of accessories and toys for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Bowls, crates, bones, chew toys...whatever! They have it. The staff is completely knowledgable about their products and where in the store they are. Some of the managers know in depth details about the companies they sell. You can adopt through the store. I would much rather go to a boutique pet store than a national chain. That being said, Cherrybrook is one of the two I visit over and over again. Their staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely happy to be working there. They always make sure my dog is comfortable and supply her with treats when she's there. They have a good selection of toys, grooming supplies, dental chews, bones, bully sticks, basically everything a dog owner could want. They sell Fromm dog food (which is the only food my dog will eat!) and they automatically enter you into their frequent buyer system that is tracked by your loyalty card. This makes it so much easier than having to cut out the bar code and attach it to the receipt (as I have found at other stores). Every couple of months, they send a coupon for the food, and they have a mailing list that describes their monthly sales and grooming dates. They have many different choices of high quality food, and supplements. There is a small section for leashes and clothes. They have plenty of bakery made treats at the front of the store by the cashiers, along with cards and flea and tick collars. I find their prices to be fair, the food I buy is expensive, it doesn't matter where I go. The store is larger than most boutique pet shops, and there is plenty of parking. My dog and I look forward to our monthly Cherrybrook visits! read more

BEWARE!!! I paid over $300 for a brand new quality German made Clipper and received one that was used. Arrived in a new looking outer box but was in visual used shape upon opening. Cord unbound, fur in blade casing and cord dirty. Customer Service asked for pictures of proof of which I sent. They offered to send out a replacement stating they have no idea how this could happen.... They requested that I in turn place a return label they will send in the box with new clipper on the old one and send it back. That's all fine but it's a large box that won't fit in my mailbox. Therefore I have to drive 20 miles to a post office to drop it off because I'm in the country and I don't see my postal person because me mailbox is 300 ft at the road. I explained all this and the inconveniences this had all caused me from losing time using the clipper as well having to wait again for another shipment even if it's quicker over 2-3 days which is what they did. I'm still very inconvenienced and so i requested a discount off of the original purchase and they said because I used a coupon code that took$10 off at purchase that's the best they can do. To me that had Nothing to do what them sending me someone else's junk! And ask this inconvenience! I sent 3 requests for a discount for this inconvenience and was declined each and every time.
