I am so thankful to have found this place on Yelp about a year ago! Although I live in the city, I started coming to Glamour Paws while staying in NJ during the height of the pandemic. I still choose to get my dog groomed here, despite having moved back! The pricing is so reasonable - my dog is a 45 lb doodle and his full groom comes out to $79, which is way less than I've been quoted anywhere else. They always do a great job with him and I love their little personalized touches. Over the holidays, the sent him home with a little tree ornament with his name on it! Took my Shiba Inu there for the first time. Shopped around to get prices beforehand because I'm a new dog parent ,needless to say , they had the best prices around. The staff there is very experienced, (20 plus years), also the owner Abbie is very accommodating , . The shop is very clean with festive atmosphere. On the way out , I asked if they have same day service being that my schedule is all over the place. Abbie said "we will try to fit you in asap". Which works great for me. I have only listed one star because I have no other option. Yesterday on Thursday 8/12/21 I dropped my beautiful kind dogs off for a groom for the first time at "Glamour Paws" in Mahwah NJ. One of my pups was a New Foundland, the largest, kindest, gentlest, soft, lovable puppy. I went to pick up my healthy, gentle spirit later in the afternoon however he was "moved" to the front area of the "salon" because it was "hot" in the back. There I found my sweetest of loves lying on the floor and for the most part, unresponsive. Sadly, we had to say good bye to this very special boy because he suffered a heatstroke while being groomed. His temperature was 109 when we took him to the Vet on an emergency call and then had to take him for emergency care following. Please, I ask anyone that reads this, do not just take your dogs to any groomer AND ask how they dry the dogs. This kind dog who only just turned 5 years old didn't deserve to have his life shortened the way it was. Please, I had done my due diligence on this groomer however it was not enough. Our incredible Samson is no longer with us. He entered "Glamour Paws" in Mahwah NJ as a healthy, happy, vibrant dog at 11:00 am only to be picked up at approximately 2:30 pm as a lethargic, over heated, non reactive, unable to move boy. My family and I are devastated, in disbelief and so sad as we lost this beautiful soul. The owner, Greg, of "Glamour Paws" in Mahwah, NJ did not even have the decency or compassion to call us to see how Samson was doing. Quite simply, I am appalled and disgusted and for the love of your four legged family member, research your groomer and do not go to "Glamour Paws" in Mahwah, NJ. I welcome any conversation regarding "Glamour Paws" in Mahwah NJ and discourage you from doing business with this "so called" establishment. Our home feels empty without our incredible dog. This is an excellent dog grooming experience for my small dog who prefers the groomers at this facility instead at home grooming.

They do a decent job. HOWEVER - They doubled their prices. Just not worth it anymore !!!!!!!

Glamour Paws is a prime example of why everyone should support small business. The owner, Greg, is present and makes sure all his standards for quality and cleanliness are followed. He listens to constructive feedback and makes notes of what could have been done better (if anything) and always remembers for the next time. This was our first experience with pet grooming. Normally I just bath and brush my dog myself, but this place has turned me. Greg is very nice and knows this business well. Our boy is a German Shepherd, so we ordered the furminating treatment including shampooing, conditioning, ears, and nails. I'm always nervous to bring my gsd to places like this because of his intimidating appearance(and he's a baby about being groomed). But Greg made me feel 100% comfortable, and I left knowing that he was in good hands. He told me he'd be ready in 2-3 hours, but called within an hour to tell us they're finished(the whole family was helping out). My gsd looks so handsome and smells so clean. I think my dogs even happy with the results. He even got a cute green bandana to top it off. We will definitely become a regular at this place as the time for a good grooming approaches again. read more

I had been taking my dog to Petco for grooming and they do a nice job but I needed a quick appointment so I called this business. They were very friendly and accommodating. My Atlas is a pomsky and he sheds terribly, so he needs the whole de shedding grooming. They did such a nice job, they even gave him a fancy blue bow. He smelled wonderful and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them for your pet grooming needs. read more

I was here as a walk in a few weeks ago, they were able to immediately clip my dogs nails and trim the hair in the pad. The manager was very friendly, and explained his background and the idea for a new grooming salon. Next time I called for an appointment and had it for 2 days later than I called. This was convenient for me. Was greeted by the same manager who asked to make a copy of the paperwork documenting my dogs shots. This made me feel good that all dogs would have documentation. From there he created a file on my dog, discussing the types of shampoo and the cut he would get. It was a bonus to have his teeth brushed, first time that I know of a groomer doing this. read more

After going to visit many grooming salons I decided to try Glamour Paws. I stayed and watched how they handled my boy and I was more than pleasantly pleased. They talked to my 9 mo old puppy while grooming him. They created a personal relationship. At times there were 2 groomers with him... One grooming sensitive areas and the other talking to him and distracting him. I had brought him to a few places before for mini-grooming but was disappointed in the lack of sensitivity other places showed him. They were robotic in their job. At Glamour Paws, they cared he was comfortable. I will be bringing him back for his next grooming. read more

Brought in my yellow lab and his best friend a black lab for a bad start nice they were shedding like crazy. Both dogs comeback looking and smelling great with zero stress.
