My one dog always comes here to get his nails clipped. If you show up weekdays between 11 and 2 PM, they will take the dog in as you will not need an appointment. It is $17. As for the grooming services, the place is always in full action. And they have different areas to crate them, dry stations, bathing areas and so forth. I brought my dog Marshall there for grooming I told them not to shave him and not to cut him short they said they would call to let me know I brush my dog 3 times a week and I know he was not matted well they didn't call until they said he was done I picked him up and they cut him real short almost shaved. They shaved his ears to the skin without my consent. it is awful Dont bring your dog here they are not trustworthy at all. I will be telling everyone I know about this horrible place . I have been bringing my dog there for a while now, he is a pomeranian chihuahua mix but he us m I re pomeranian so today he went to get groomed and when I picked him up they trimmed him to much. I asked to have some hair taken off but to much was taken off and he looks choppy, maybe I explained what I wanted wrong. I know it will grow back and next time will just ask them for a scissor trim, because he doesn't have that pomeranian look rite now. They are very good there but you need to either bring a picture of what you want or be careful h I w you explain it to them. I will know better next time. read more

I've been taking both my frenchies- Dallas & Toby to Pet-A-Groom for a few years. Victoria usually handles the boys and does an absolute AMAZING job every single time! She told me one time that she'll always make room to groom them, which I thought was so sweet! Not only do the boys smell great for weeks, but she cuts and files their nails so smooth, & does a great job on their ears too! I know how moody they can be when I try to bathe them, so I will gladly pay to bring them in! Rich and Jason are always so helpful when scheduling appointments! I would have to rate this groomer a Zero. I am absolutely sick and heartbroken for my sweet little girl. She is such a good puppy, who gets a little scared and nervous at the slightest noises, and now, has been completely traumatized. If I could give more stars, I would! My dog Theodore has been using Kathy Santo Dog Training/Daycare since we got him as a puppy over a year ago. We couldn't be more pleased with the convenience of having the awesome Pet-A-Groom right next door. Today, was NO exception. En route to "school" this morning my Theo had an accident in the back of my car. He proceeded to get himself covered in the mess. I was panicked to say the least. Upon pulling up to Kathy's facility, I ran to the front door of the Pet-A-Groom- the lights were on but the door was locked- I knocked and to my amazement, Rich came from the back and with a big smile on his face greeted me. I explained the situation and without hesitation he grabbed paper towels, plastic bags, and a garbage can to help this 9 month pregnant woman. He took Theo inside and got him situated while I finished taking the back seat car cover that was covered in nastiness off. I had every intention of throwing that cover away, but Rich insisted on taking it inside to wash in his facilities washing machine. Rich was my hero today and I will be forever grateful for his kindness and generosity! This is most definitely the best grooming salon!! First, when you call Jason handles the desk and calls with courtesy and kindness- very helpful. Then, Victoria, the groomer I received for my dog, took our appointment last minute and handles my dog like a pro! My dog is a 10 year old shitzu who is blind and grumpy. The only reason I was forced to use this place is because Kathy Santos was too cheap to give me a refund on some classes & daycare I bought, but changed my mind after seeing some things I didn't agree with. So I'm stuck with a $900 credit to burn on grooming in this place I don't want to be. I don't know if it was because I was a credit customer, they didnt think when it ran out, I'd still be a customer, but omg you really suck!! Not only did you keep changing my appts to whatever pleased them, then yelling on the phone, "You can't keep blowing off appts!", so nasty. Yeah, I'm 5 mins from you, I wait over a week, my appt mysteriously disappears, or it was last week, sure WHATEVER... MAINLY... they did a horrible job on my dogs, no style, no nothing, the bare minimum. Everything was separate, nail cutting, teeth brushing, pockets, etc.. All they did was bath & barely trim them. but charged me for all???..The only reason I deleted the 1st Neg. comment, YOU still owe me $200 Hubby tried to make a last appt, but they refused to take us hahaha omg!! because of the negative feedback I deleted to get my money but I'l never see it, Keep it!! I am so furious right now. My husband said we should try this place in town. So I made an appointment. I just picked up my dog. He has two bleeding cuts on his under side and one near his butt. They over trimmed his nails and made him bleed. I'm assuming from the yellow powder residue. My dog had two skin tags on his hind leg which has also been cut. He must have been in such pain!!! You are supposed to be professionals. I have never had this experience with any other groomers. You should not have a pet grooming license. Will never be returning. read more

This is the best groomer in this area. I have a Golden who is almost 16 and I can't say enough about the care and attention they give to my dog. We have been going here for years and I would never think of going anywhere else. Prices a fair and the groomers are amazing we have used several different groomers at Pet A Groom over the years. Love them! Great prices, great staff and they work really well in tandem with Kathy Santo's Dog Training school. You can drop your dog off for the day to get trained and groomed all in one shot! First time - great experience. In all my years of owning dogs I've never really had one who needed grooming in terms of trimming, cutting, styling. I phoned on Saturday and was given an appointment for Monday morning. We dropped off at 8:15 and picked up our pup at about 12:15. absolutely repulsed by this groomer. we were told it would take 4 and a half hours for our dog to be ready, only to be called 2 hours after dropping her off and be told that our dog (who had been ready and crying in the car) had rubbed the skin raw on her nose. we picked her up to see that her nose was bloody. she was completely ignored by the groomers I will never send my dog back here or allow any of my friends to do so. read more
