The staff at Paw Pals, especially Brittany, are so caring, loving, and attentive to both the guests…read moreand their furry friends. Communication is always excellent, the facility is very clean, and you can tell that everyone genuinely cares about the animals. I absolutely love them! My cat and dog both love going to Paw Pals, which gives me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend Paw Pals to anyone looking for a place where their pets will be treated with love and care!

Things are not the same anymore. Before July, messages were answered promptly, and the daily photos…read moreand updates were informative and gave me a good idea of how my dog's day was going. Recently, I had my dog reevaluated while he was boarding for the weekend. I was reassured that I would receive an update, yet despite calling and messaging multiple times, I received no response for almost the entire day. When I finally received a brief update, the photo of my dog was honestly heartbreaking. After picking him up, I reached out to ask how his weekend had gone because I wanted him to return for continued socialization. No response. I followed up through the portal. No response. I called and asked the same question, and once again, I was assured someone would get back to me. Nothing. I eventually sent another text asking about incorporating dog training into his visits. Suddenly, I finally received a response. Looking back, I should have stopped there. After spending the night awake and worried about my dog, I contacted them again. Following his daycare visit, he developed persistent coughing, gagging, and coughing up phlegm. An emergency veterinarian identified a tracheal injury and laryngeal irritation consistent with compression of his neck. I am deeply concerned that the slip collar used during his visit caused this injury, especially when I had already made it clear his history of pulling. He's 70 pounds. I sent a message explaining what had happened and expressing my concerns, and I received absolutely no response. This isn't simply about poor communication or a lack of updates anymore. This concerns my dog's health, safety, and well-being. When a facility is entrusted with the care of your animal, you expect communication, accountability, and a genuine concern for their welfare. The complete lack of response after such a serious incident is incredibly disappointing.
