But none of this would be possible without the exceptional guidance and personalized help we've had over the past several years from the team at Good Dog. Do yourself a favor, and sign up for class today. You won't regret it! Here's the reality... I had no idea how to train a dog. I thought it was something you do for a couple of months, and maybe you get a dog that listens to you. But Anne's approach of really helping dog owners understand dog psychology and effective techniques for breaking skill-building into bite-sized chunks helped me reshape my thinking and develop the patience and consistency needed to get an incredible result. I never dreamed that I could have a dog that listens as well as Sierra. How well does Sierra listen? Well, her recall is so good that she came running up 2 flights of stairs when I previewed the video I chose to include in this review. Just from the whistle in the video. I thought that kind of behavior was outside of my abilities to achieve. But Good Dog helped me realize that training a dog doesn't have to be a burden -- it's a lot easier than you think. It just requires consistency and a bit of oversight from a knowledgeable expert. Point is... You could have this for your dog, too!

We have used her since the first day of bringing our Bernedoodle, Willow, home. We did her 2 week board to train program. We received daily updates and extremely detailed videos and notes as well as a schedule of what Willow's day should look like. Willow came back potty trained, crate trained and with a handful of commands. The fact that Willow was boarded in Angelina's home was very important to me. Now, at 7 months old and almost 60lbs, Willow has hit adolescence and Angelina is guiding our family and Willow through this time. She will pick Willow up and take her on training field trips and I will receive multiple detailed videos and full report. We also do training at my house which is more of Angelina training me to know how to handle Willow's pushback and work with her as her mom. I refer Angelina to everyone I know and will continue to use her as a trainer and boarder for Willow. Watching Willow get so excited to work with Angelina and be fully present in the training session is worth its weight in gold.

I searched out training facilities, watched YouTube videos, asked neighbors, family & friends about how to train this new pup but knew it was not going well. Meanwhile my son's 80# 4 year old Catahoula was living with me and while he was house trained, the training ended there. When I first spoke with Kristen I knew the experience was going to be different - due to COVID. I could not travel and her facility was not taking new clients at the time. Due to circumstances, Kristen continued to work with me virtually and gave me the option of doing the on-line training. Although I was skeptical at first, this was an AMAZING Experience. I obtained the videos and trained at my pace. I would watch a video, try the technique taught, and then watch the video again. I took my time but created a consistent and timely training plan with my very motivated puppy. I started to try some of the techniques on the Catahoula and was amazed that you can teach an older dog new tricks! Highly recommend this program & Kristen is an awesome trainer to work with. Thank you for all of your support!
