I understand that this is kind of a last option place but in the world of COVID most places aren't doing pick ups. However, if I'm paying for a service then I expect to have my furniture taken if it's in respectable shape. The deal is $40 to pick up your items, in my case it was a fairly used mattress but clean. Perfectly good for someone who really needs a bed. They arrived, glanced at the mattress and decided that it was not worthy of their outstanding services. I asked if they could take the box spring and they said yes despite that being in worse shape than the mattress. I asked if they would call about a payment that I could process via my card but instead the employees stated "You can just pay us in cash." I regret paying them at all as it wasn't worth the time and certainly wasn't worth the money. All around wouldn't recommend this place if you're trying to get rid of a mattress as they'll only accept it if it is in pristine brand new condition. read more

I recently needed to get rid of a whole bunch of furniture as I was downsizing my living situation and for a fee ($75 to pick up in Sweet Home) I was able to donate so much to a great cause! I really like that they help out disaster survivors and domestic abuse survivors in furnishing their new homes, that's what sold me to donating to them over anyone else. The two guys that came were very respectable and quick to load everything up. If I'm ever on either side of their business, I'll be going to them first. read more

Awful Charity - Made promises they did not keep. Poor Communication. Recommend you donate to a different local charity like Food Share, Teen Challenge or FISH. Update for the positive review added... maybe check the Director's home and see how many of the donations made it to her house and not for sale to earn beds for the kids and let's talk about the good they do once again. Maybe when she stops bragging about the good stuff she gets for free I would feel a bit better. read more

Furniture Share does a lot of good for the community. I am sure there are people who are not happy with the service, but I suspect for every one of those, there are 10 who are grateful and happy with the assistance they received. I will continue to support Furniture Share, as they do a wonderful service for the community, and need all the help they can get. read more

Furniture Share goes above and beyond helping local families in need. Please donate your time or your used goods to help others, instead of dropping them off at a for-profit like Goodwill. read more

IRS should look into the fact that they charge each family $20 for furniture, sight unseen. They re-sell their stuff at the used furniture store across the street. They sell donated washers and dryers to habitat for humanity, when people who donate thinks it goes to families, it doesn't. My son was been waiting for a loft bed since he was three-- he is now nine. They never called me had to reapply several times. I did finally get a call and when I came down there they wouldn't let me see the bed before I paid them $20. This is alot of money for a bed that is used. Poor people should not have to pay sight unseen for crap that belongs in the dump. This nonprofit seems like a for profit, if they need the money from people who are well under the poverty threshold!! read more
