Probably one of the better second hand stores between Albany, Corvallis and Lebanon. It's rare that I leave empty handed, and the prices are usually pretty good, if not exceptional. Furniture can get a bit more expensive than is reasonable, and sometimes they get their hopes way too high on certain things that they mistakenly think are valuable, but generally their prices are fair, and tend to be lower than most other second hand stores. That is the only reason I deducted one star. Staff is pretty great and personable, and they really appreciate the donations they get, unlike Goodwill who acts like you are bothering them when you drop stuff off. They are gearing up to rebrand the Albany location as another Superthrift, and I can only pray that they do not follow the Lebanon locations example with prices and lack of product. This store is probably one of the last thrift stores within 50 miles that you can visit where you feel like you are actually shopping at a second hand store that has fresh stuff all the time, instead of a high end boutique with nothing worth the trip to buy. Please, please keep doing what you are doing, Teen Challenge, remember what makes you so highly recommended, and think about the customers who love to shop with you. read more

Probably the best second hand store within 50 miles and a regular stop for me. The Lebanon store should really think about taking their cues from the Albany store. I used to frequent the Lebanon location a couple of times a week, but ever since they moved to the new building, they pretty much threw away everything that made them a great store. Now the Albany store is pretty much the only spot I shop since they are still true to what makes them great. I just pray that when they rebrand like the Lebanon store, they do not throw away all their customers as well. I love this store and will be devastated if they sell out like the Lebanon store did. read more

Even since before the move to the new building, Super Thrift has become worse than even Goodwill which is hard to do. After the move, it's like they just gave up on attracting or keeping their customers. The store looks nice, and it's in a nice spot but that's about all they have going for them. The prices are absurd and it's like they think they are a high end boutique or something. This is not a serious thrift store and you shouldn't go out of your way to visit when you will just leave empty handed. This company lost it's way. read more

When I went into TC shopping today, September 1, 2021, first thing I see is a sign, volunteers needed. Then you see a group of the troubled children (men) standing outside smoking and chatting away, with the so called MANGER. Looked around throughout the store how they raised their prices. Cart after carts full of junk to be put on the shelf. Do they need volunteers or do they need a manger that works and makes her children do the same. By the way as I leave, the group was in the same spot and growing. read more

Really liked the book space since it's in its own section & much quieter.
