My wife and I went to the store and we were unsure what to get but our salesman seemed to know quite a bit about all the different types. It turns out that he didn't know anything about the furniture but instead told us everything we wanted to hear to get us to spend over $8k on a new living room set and some cleaning supplies that they recommended for use on their products. After a couple days, I noticed that a wet spot on our ottoman from our dogs drool. I grabbed the new cleaning spray and microfiber towel to try and clean the area but as I rubbed, my rag started turning brown and where I was rubbing was now ORANGE. I wasn't sure what was going on but let it sit and dry to see if that would magically fix but nope still there. I went back up to the store to ask them about it and how to fix it and their response was that there was nothing they could do about it because once the sale is done they dont care anymore once they got your money. I did not make a scene in the store as much as I wanted to but we all know it doesnt solve anything. I tried to contact customer support directly before posting online and their customer support was the absolute worst. By the end of it, I was accused of using the wrong rag because it was 'too abrasive'....it was a super soft microfiber towel for crying out loud. After not getting anywhere because you are apparently not supposed to use a microfiber towel. They tell me that looking at the case, it was closed and completed but yet I am still stuck with spotted furniture and its ruined. They closed the case because they don't want to help their customers. So now we are stuck with furniture that is only a couple months old and orange spots everywhere because apparently you cant clean it EVER.....I will never shop their again and strongly urge everyone else to avoid them if possible. read more

Today my sectional sofa was delivered and sparked me to look at reviews and write this one. After the delivery guys left, I noticed something under the couch. After investigating I found a hole, not huge but not small either, in the dust cover under the Brand-New Sectional Sofa. I called Furniture Row to have them repair it and was told I could and should "Duct Tape it. "It's only a dust cover and duct tape would be stronger than the cover itself." My response, "What? I realize it's only a dust cover but really? Duct Tape my New Sofa?" His smug response, "Well what would you like for us to do?" I said I wanted it repaired and he said, "We will call you to schedule that repair." Keep reading. Let's back up a little. I recently moved to Amarillo and need to purchase an entire house of furniture. Not in a rush, I have driven to a lot of furniture stores in town, a lot. Furniture Row has nice, friendly and not pushy sales people. From what I have found their prices are comparable if not better then like quality around town. I also purchased 4 bar stools. Was told it would be 2 weeks to arrive from warehouse in CO and they would call me. If you read other reviews, you won't be surprised to hear I needed to call Furniture Row 2 weeks later and ask about my order. Communication from Furniture Row seems to be an issue. I was told 2 of the bar stools are on backorder for 3 or 4 months! It sure would have been nice to know that prior to paying for all of them and going home with only half the order. Do you really think I will get that repair call? I don't, and I won't spend another penny at Furniture Row. That's too bad, the sales people are pleasant and really not pushy. read more

Terrible service. We originally spent nearly 20k on April 15, 2022 and were promised everything by the 24th of May. Today, July 4, we finally got the last piece of furniture that we kept. We ended up canceling over half of the order because of the lies on delivery times or damaged furniture. I would recommend Bob Mills a thousand times over Furniture Row. The staff is arrogant, especially the manager Norman. We want to Bob Mills after canceling 11k of our order. We purchased the item we canceled and even bought a few extras and saved almost 3k and most of all weren't treat like trash. I posted a review on Google and Yelp and was promised a call back to discuss my issues. I never received a call back. Simply put, Furniture Row only wants your money. Go somewhere else!! read more

Stopped by Oak Express after a bad experience at another local furniture store and was anticipating more high-pressure salespeople. WRONG! Matthew Bain was working when I went in and was very helpful, knowledgeable and put absolutely no pressure on me to purchase anything. I found a piece I was interested in and he helped me measure it and went to his manager for approval to get us an even better deal. Will definitely be going back to buy more from him! With their low prices, I was expecting the furniture to be cheaply made, but it all appeared solid and no particle board in sight. read more

There's someone else that had a similar issue. Surprise. It's not a one off. We purchased a bed frame/head board and a dining room table at the beginning (2nd) of January. Told it would be 2 to 3 weeks. We received our table in February, due to the bed not being in. Table is damaged. Chairs are damaged. Order a new one. It and the bed come together. The bed is ridiculously large. I mean, we ordered a full size and it is 3 inches away from being a queen sized bed. Huge gaps that our daughter could have stepped in and broke her leg if we weren't careful and immediately said this was not right. Second table comes damaged as well. Delivery guys even say they didn't bring one of the replacement chairs because the chair was in such poor condition it wouldn't have been worth it. Originally offered the shipping and installation fees as a refund. Hardly. If I spend almost two thousand, I would expect a little more hurry and a whole lot more recompense. My wife and I purchased an entire living room suite from Furniture Row in May of 2017 for just under $3800. We purchased a five year protection plan. In 2018, we had the sofa replaced, because a seam on the seat came undone. Now, after having had this sofa for only two years, the surface of the leather is peeling off like a kid with a sunburn. It looks like the leather was spray painted with latex paint, rather than properly dyed, and now that paint is peeling off. I contacted the protection plan company, who declined to do anything, because they only cover "limited accidental damages." So, I called the manager of the local store, Chance, and told him about our problem. He said Furniture Row had already been "more than fair," because they replaced our sofa once in 2018. I asked if he thought it was "more than fair" that our $1000 sofa was literally falling apart (for the second time) after only two years. He said "Yes, we've been more than fair." Think about that for a second. A $1000 sofa lasting TWO YEARS is "fair." Chance gave us the number of a guy who can refinish leather furniture. Nice. I get to spend $100 more because Furniture Row doesn't stand behind their product for longer than one year. Next time you're in the market for furniture, find a shop who sells a product that is actually expected to last longer than one year. Furniture Row is not that type of store. read more

If I could give my experience at this store absolutely no stars I would. This has been 100% the worst experience I have ever had purchasing ANYTHING in my entire life. I purchased a bed frame and was told they would call me within 2 weeks; they did and after I drove back, surprise they didn't have all the parts to my bed. They apologized and said it would be about 2 more weeks before they got the parts we needed. 2 weeks pass by (4 total weeks), I get a call, drive up there AGAIN and surprise again! No bed frame... more apologies, there's a remodel going on so it must have been forgotten, it'll be 2-3 MORE WEEKS to get this bed frame... I'm forgiving so i accept the apology (also I REALLY like this particular bed frame). 3 weeks later THIRD TIME, I specifically ask ARE ALL THE PARTS IN THE STORE, they say yes. Great. Go up there. Nope. No bed frame. RIDICULOUS. They say they're sorry, they'll deliver it for free (in 2 weeks)... *sigh* fine. 2 1/2 weeks later I call (because still no bed), apparently it was noted that we took the side rails and the baseboard, and now I could come take the headboard. What the actual ****. I had to calmly (semi) explain THAT I HAD NO PARTS OF THIS BED THAT IVE NOW BEEN WAITING ALMOST 3 MONTHS FOR!! In conclusion, don't buy furniture here, go somewhere else, unless you enjoy meaningless hassles. read more

We went to Furniture Row looking for dining room chairs and found some we liked at a decent price. Of course, they were not in stock and had to ordered. We paid for them at the time we ordered them on January 8, 2019. We were told they would be in the last week of January. I called at the end of January to check on the order status and was told they would check and call me back. They called back and said 2 of my 6 chairs were in. So I picked those up...and was told the other chairs would be in the following week. Called back the following week...still not in...but they would check on them. They called back and told me my chairs were there and had been invoiced to the wrong customer. I get ready to go pick them up and before I leave, they call back and said, sorry...those are NOT your chairs after all. Then I was told they would be in the following week. Called to check on them the following week and was told it would be the 3rd week of February before they came in. To make up for my trouble they offered me free delivery when they DID come in. Well, okay....they have my money and I've got two chairs, at this point I'm committed. I was notified yesterday (Friday, February 22) that my chairs were finally in. I was also instructed to call them back and they would make arrangements for delivery NEXT FRIDAY!!....Uh, no thank you!!! I've waited 7 weeks for them...and they were okay with me waiting ANOTHER week?!? We're going to pick them up. The moral to this story is....don't expect instant gratification at this place. To their credit, the folks there were very nice and I'm sure they can't help what's out of their control...but honestly, not a great way to do business. read more

This place is horrible... bought 2 powered recliners from them... was told everything worked on them by 3 employees but they were not plugged in at the store. Got them home, set them up, and there was smoke coming out from under the chairs!!! Tried to call and see if I could bring them back that day and because they were on sale they will not take them back!! Almost caught on fire and now I have useless furniture I have to get rid of!!!
