Owner, James was completely unprofessional and had an attitude after their mistake. After getting married, we needed her ring resized and brought it here. They resized it, but somehow weakend the band. It bent in less than a week. Note, we did our clean up after the wedding and the original ring never bent. After taking it back to have them fix the mistake they made on the ring, they blamed it on the silver. They even ordered a replacement. We never asked for a replacement. Just stand behind your work. If you make a mistake, RESPECT the customer. Talk professionally and don't assume we want money. I went to the jewelry store and just took the original ring back. No apology for the disrespect came from James. Stand behind your work instead of defending the mistake that caused the bend. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Went to another location advertising jewelry repair to fix my glasses frames. They told me it couldn't be done. But these guys said "no problem" and laser welded them in a few minutes. James, Kim and Braxton Novak at jewelry doctors were so helpful in replacing the large diamond and several small diamonds I lost out of my engagement ring. They also resting a strand of faux pearls that belonged to my mother. The stand of pearls weren't valuable, but they hold a lot of sentimental value for me personally. The strand had knots between each pearl and Jewelry Doctors did a fantastic job. I took my wedding ring in to have a simple prong repair. It took them 3 &1/2 months and I had it back 4 days and lost a diamond. If I wanted to be without my ring for another 3-4 months, I would love to go in and tell them what I think. But I will never go back in there. So ridiculous. read more

I brought in my mother's watch with a missing pin to be replaced and also my adorable old watch that I found way back. It was too big for me then but I recently decided to adjust the band and successfully did so with tools meant to fix glasses. However, I wasn't able to change the battery myself to I decided to bring it here. The middle aged female clerk first told me, "You shouldn't do that" after she saw the cap of my watch was off. She had black hair and overly grown red nails. She then went to the other counter, and said to her coworker, "It's rusted, and doesn't work. she 'found it.' I don't know how true that is". I was baffled! The older gentleman offered to fix it for $55, but I had to decline. They seriously need to teach her how to behave in front of customers. I am not a thief! I just came to get my mother's and my watch fixed. I will never return here again. read more

Used them for a few years with no issue until the (I assume) owner / manager (red haired guy) took a look at my watch / heart rate monitor and told me it was dead and he couldn't fix it but "he tried everything". Turns out he just didn't want to honor the "battery guarantee"! I get it, its a heavy battery draw and it might run it out in a year and it might be a pain but its their policy! I replaced the battery myself and its been going for a year and half now. So for the cost of a watch battery they lost a customer and got a bad review. With so many options customer service will make or break a business and a little honesty would have been appreciated versus a bold faced lie. read more

Great service! I took a watch in for a battery replacement and inquired about having the crystal buffed to take out the numerous scratches. The crystal wasn't able to be buffed, but the gentleman ordered a replacement crystal to replace the scratched one and replaced the battery as well. This was all done in a very timely manner as well as being very affordable. When picking up this watch, I dropped off six more watches that were needing the batteries replaced. Took my watch in for a new battery and came out with a ruined $500.00 watch!! He replaced the battery and then proceeded to polish my band taking all the gold plating off one side of my band and returned it back to me claiming he had only used Dawn dish washing detergent on it when I heard him used an electric buffer on it! He told me he would not replace the band and told me it was my responsibility!! I took it to another jewelry store and they confirmed the abrasive marks on one side of the band that the gold plating had been removed! The price quoted for a new band for my watch was $250.00! Took my perfectly working high end watch in to simply have battery replaced and 3 days later left with a broken watch!!! Thought they were an ethical and honest business. First battery installed quit working within 12 hours. Returned the next morning and battery was replaced. Took watch home and placed it on night stand and a few hours later, the digital displays were not working properly. Returned to store where they discovered the liquid crystal displays had been cracked. Implied that I had dropped it or had a hard impact, neither of which are true. Couldn't have been because they had been working inside the watch case TWICE.! Manager refused to accept any responsibility for the problem. Maybe they are capable of fixing costume jewelry but if you have any jewelry of value, I highly recommend finding a store that will stand behind their skill and service. I took my rare one-of-a-kind watch to Jewelry Doctors to have the crystal and battery replaced. They quoted a very fair price and seemed like they would do a satisfactory job. When I returned to pick up the watch, they had scratched the watch in multiple locations, dented the outer casing of the watch, and the crystal replacement was horrendous. I kindly requested to speak with the jeweler and he was extremely pompous, rude, condescending, and acted as if it was MY fault that I was not satisfied with their job. I absolutely would never return to Jewelry Doctors and I STRONGLY encourage anyone and everyone to do business elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! read more
