I used Tide thinking that with such a big name, i would have nothing to worry about. We asked if…read morethey could clean smoke damage from a recent fire, and they said yes. They returned almost every single item damaged or completely ruined. Without reaching out to me, or informing me beforehand, they wet washed all of our dry-clean only items, and seems they washed them together. Who wet washes a wedding dress? A satin dress? In the same washer? (We found sequins from the wedding snagged in the satin.) They completely ruined 20 or so garments. Management at the Amarillo tide location was extremely rude and combative over the situation, even after admitting that we should have been told how they were planning on washing our items. The general manager out of Lubbock admitted to me that our garments were handled incorrectly, proper procedures were not followed, and we should have been, at the very leaset, asked if we wanted our things wet washed( which the amarillo manager claimed is the ONLY way to do smoke remediation, which is absolutely not true). Of course, if we had known what they planned to do, we would have said no and taken our business somewhere they know what they're doing. I think is it entirety reasonable, that when you drop off DRY CLEAN ONLY garments to a DRY CLEANERS, that your items are to be DRY CLEANED! They would not make it right. We asked for compensation. They DESTROYED OVER $3000 worth of clothing, including many vintage peices and MY WIFE'S WEDDING DRESS that she was planning to pass down! They gave us a pittance; a PARTIAL refund for the "cleaning" cost. The general manager from Lubbock became unreachable, I suspect a case of: "if I ignore it, it will go away". I emplore you to not trust Tide cleaners with your valuable or sentimental items. 0/10 for care, 0/10 for communication, 0/10 for customer satisfaction. Working with Tide was almost worse than the fire that lead us to their services.

However, they did not, and by not doing so the pocket material could not be moved out of the way. The patches are sewn thru the liner AND the pockets making the pockets useless. I would not recommend taking your vest here unless you can speak directly to the person doing the work.

Very poor customer service for a familiar face if you're asking me, considering there was no care that the machine is malfunctioning. I didn't know I was missing a pair of my pants until weeks later when I was getting ready to go out of town. I get back in town go up there let them know I'm missing my pants. They said the owner will call me. He never did. I go up there again talk to an employee and she says she gave me all of my pants back. I go home check again and I have pants that don't belong to me so I take them back left them with a employee and she tells me one of the girls mixed everyone's pants and it's been a mess and that the owner will call me back. He never did. I gave them plenty of time to find my pants or make it right. After multiple trips up there it was the same thing over and over that the owner will call me back. He never did. Now they tell me I never dropped off the original pants they lost or the pants that was in my bag that was not mine. They never had any intention on replacing my pants. Just the run around like I aint have nothing better to do with my time then to go up there multiple times about some pants that I supposedly never brought to them.
