Disappointed! I took a leather vest to have patches sewn on. I specifically asked if they would loosen the liner so stitching did not go thru the liner and was told that they would. However, they did not, and by not doing so the pocket material could not be moved out of the way. The patches are sewn thru the liner AND the pockets making the pockets useless. I would not recommend taking your vest here unless you can speak directly to the person doing the work. read more

Went to get my dress altered for them to take a couple inches off thinking it was every layer that they would take those couple inches off and nope just one piece fabric is what they took off and almost paid $200 so I highly don't recommend and bad customer service hope this is helpful read more

Dropped off 2 dresses to be fixed because they were to long and 5 suits and a jacket some of the jackets from the suits had lose buttons and one of them was missing one. I explained to the lady on what jackets I wanted the buttons tighten and also showed her the jacked with the missing one I had the button on the front pocket of the jacket. The whole time I was talking she never looked at me that's why I felt she wasn't listening. The 2 Mexican lady's that helped us with the alterations were really nice and took the time to do their measurements and did a good job. But I was right about the front desk lady. She never payed attention a word that came out of my mouth. I payed almost 300$ for dry clean my suits and the 2 alterations for the dresses and I got a half ass job I don't mind the money but now I have to look else where that can fix the buttons of my suits. Good job on the dry cleaning I liked it ! And next time if another costumer goes in your business to purchase your services at least look at them in the eye so they don't feel stupid read more

Connie's was such a blessing to me. I had a house fire last April that damaged all of my suits. So when tragedy struck again this January and my mother passed suddenly from this world, I was in need of a suit and same day alterations in order to be prepared for the funeral. Unfortunately everyone was two weeks out on alterations including Connie's, however, Connie's took the time to ask what it was for and when they found out it was for a funeral they made it happen. They even offered to waive the rush fee. The workmanship and overall process was excellent, and I'm extremely grateful to them for making such a hard time in my life just a little bit easier. I was referred to Connie's by a fellow cheer mom. I was needing alterations done for my daughters cheer skirt. We went in on 10/7- Saturaday morning. A very nice woman pinned the skirt where it needed to be taken in. She spoke with whom I believe the owner, and let him know we were actually needing this by Tuesday 10/11. He couldn't promise us Tuesday but he said it would definitley be ready to pickup 10/12, possibly sooner. Today I received a text her skirt was ready for pickup before the event we needed it for and it looks great! They did a great job and we appreciate them doing all they could to get it done before the event! I'll be taking all of my items to them! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! We took a Bridesmaid dress here for alterations and it was a nightmare!!! Dress - $99. Totally mutilated alterations - $75. New dress $99. Overnight shipping - $35. Exceptional alterations - $43. In case it is not obvious in the pictures the dress is supposed to hang to the floor....so graceful and elegant, yet simple, RIGHT?? But as you can see after Connie's finished with the dress the inner lining is several inches off of the floor, the outer material is off the floor and none of it is evenly cut or hemmed!!!!! To make matters even worse Connie REFUSED to admit anything was wrong. She SCREAMED that this is how the dress is supposed to look!! UM - NOOOOOOO it is not. Maybe it is time for Connie to retire. Or go to some classes to learn good customer service and own up to her mistakes. We took the dress to the Perfect Fit on Civic in case anyone is looking for a good recommendation. They were so calm and professional and took their time making sure they took the correct measurements and make us feel so special. I went to Connie's to get two dresses altered. first off it was extremely expensive for the work that was done, and what was done was very poor quality. Secondly one of the dresses had a bulging issue that I wanted fixed and the seamstress just looked it over and said she could do nothing to help, but when I got my dress back-I got the length shortened- the bulging was worse like the fabric had been tugged on and loosened, along with some thread that had been ripped that held crystals onto the dress. If you "could do nothing to help" then why touch the spot I'm not paying you for? Thirdly the other dress has exposed seams and they were done unevenly... So on top of the $$$ I spent on getting these dresses altered I have to pay someone else to fix the mistakes they made in "fixing" my dresses. I will never go back to them again, and I hope this review helps others not to have to go through what I went through. Honestly one star is too generous of a score. read more

Do not go here. Seriously. Don't go here. I'm not one to write negative reviews. I've worked in retail and know not every experience with a business will be a positive one. But what Connie (the manager/owner) did today is unacceptable and I want others to know about her behavior so that they do not entrust her with anything they value. Let's start with I used Connie's in the past for alterations and had had a positive experience. So when it came to alterations for my wedding, I went back. The day I dropped off my husband's suit, my dress and the sweater for my wedding, there was a couple at the counter complaining to the cashier about how Connie's had lost their dry cleaning. RED FLAG. I watched that and thought, "Oh no, it'll be ok. They've done a good before." NOPE. I'm telling you, if you're reading this, listen to my gut since I clearly failed to. So I left my stuff with them. I wish I hadn't. I got a text to pick up my dry cleaning. I did. My husband checked the bundle before we left town. He checked it against the ticket. Everything was there. We left town. It wasn't until we got to our destination. The night before our wedding. That I found out that the sweater WAS NOT IN THE BUNDLE!!!! Not good. Fast forward to today. I went to go retrieve my sweater that I was SUPPOSED to wear on my wedding day. I calmly explained the situation to Connie. I was very restrained. I asked that she comp the cost of the tailoring (not the dry cleaning that we had already gotten). I explained that her businesses failed to notify me that the tailoring was done. And had failed to notify me that the dry cleaning and tailoring would be separate text message notifications. This is where it gets rich. When I asked Connie to comp the transaction, Connie turned her back on me and walked away. The cashier then asked Connie if they could comp me. Connie then said I was "not grateful for the hard work" that went into the tailoring.... she hemmed the sleeves. She did not move Heaven and Earth. She did a five minute job at most. She also told me I was asking for "blood money". Really. I can't. Blood money? So rude. It was clear at this point she was going to be stubborn and I did not want to fight with her. I paid. She then said as I walked out that it wouldn't happen next time.... I told her I would not be back and that this was bad business. I am not a customer who thinks the customer is always right. But I do expect a business owner to take responsibility when they mess up and Connie refused to when given the chance to make this right. So. There you go. Do not take anything important to Connie. I have been taking things to Connie's for ten years and will not be taking anything to her again after picking up a dress today. I took in a bridesmaids dress to have a simple hem done and was charged $81. I was not given any sort of estimate when i took it in and would expect to be given a heads up on such an outrageous price. Please do not take your clothes here for any alterations or cleaning no one smile's they are very rude and they are extremely expensive and the work is just not up to par. I took my white linen suit in for cleaning and minor alterations they needed to be taken in in the legs and the sleeves and cleaned. Once the job was done incomplete they tried to convince me that the pants were fine they still looked exactly the same as when I brought them in and the sleeves were exactly the same length. I ask the question. Did you guys do anything? Their response was "Oh yes we took them up" and I'm looking at myself in the mirror saying no you did not and then the lady says to me "We will charge you again because we did the alterations and the cleaning and you look fine"... I have had great experiences with Connie's. She does great work. She had done many alterations for me, including wedding dress, pants, shirts, etc. She also does my dry cleaning. Customer service has gotten better. She has just never been a people person, but is good at her job. I'm not really a people person either. I go there to get my clothes tailored, not socialize and get my feelings hurt. They're very busy and get you in and out and have never lost and of my clothes. If I could give them a lower rating I would! I had seen some of the other reviews but had not experienced it myself so I continued to take my clothes there. For 3 years. Recently I took 2 pairs of pants to have altered and my husband picked them up for me. I put one pair on and the length on one pair of pants was still too long so I took them back and told them they were not short enough and needed to have them redone. I took in the receipt and showed them where I had already paid for them. I asked to pick them up in a couple days as I needed them for work. I just went to go pick them up and they tried to charge me again! I told them no that I had already paid for them. They began to argue with me saying they had not altered them and that I needed to pay for them. I told them I would pay for them again because I needed the pants but would NEVER bring anything else there again. Connie still argued with me that she did not fix the hem in the pants! Finally they found the receipt and did not charge me. As I'm furious and just trying to get my pants she is still arguing with me stating she did not do the pants. I am in shock at the horrible customer service or lack of. As I'm walking out and she's still trying to argue with me one of the other workers tells me that I should be glad because I didn't have to pay for my pants.
