    Prices are cheaper than Pete's but the quality is not as good, so you get what you pay for. It takes forever to get to Panhandle Greenhouses, pack a lunch! Don't expect much help- in the greenhouses the employees were standing around talking, but were not helping customers. We had to carry our purchases out ourselves, whereas Pete's always has employees to carry your purchases to your car. Pet peeve: the cashier simply handed me my receipt after I paid. She didn't even say thank you anytime during my transaction. Um, thanks- for nothing! I doubt I'll return.

Don Johnson, our sales rep, has made our furniture buying experience very successful and enjoyable. We were so undecided on two different living room groups. He worked with us and told us we had 72 hours once it was delivered to make sure that we liked it. If not, we could return and order the other one. Kish did a follow up call to see how things were going. Ultimately we ended up returning part of our order and they didn't hesitate in allowing us to do so. When the desks were delivered, they were missing pivotal bolts for assembly. This hindered our establishment immensely, because we needed functional desks for our partners to reopen for business. Bolts were supposed to be FedExed to us, but we did not receive said bolts until January, 2015. We also ordered a bed for our home from the same Havertys located on 34th and Soncy. We were guaranteed delivery on January 5, 2015, anywhere from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. We waited for delivery and received a phone call on January 5, 2015 at 11:15 AM stating that our order had been rescheduled to the following day, January 6, 2015 during the same time window, 9:30 to 11:30 AM. On January 6, 2015, we waited for delivery from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. At 11:32 AM, we called Havertys to inquire about the delay, and were told that they were an hour behind schedule. After having attended a Ritz Carlton Leadership in Customer Service course for our own business, we have very high standards when it comes to this area. We go above and beyond to provide a top of the line experience for our customers, and expect the same when we are the consumers. We had a very disappointing experience with Havertys, and will not recommend them to anyone we know, nor use them ever again.

The way they handled business came off shady, manipulative, and completely untrustworthy. Instead of helping me as a customer, they seemed more focused on pushing hidden costs, dodging direct questions, and giving me the runaround. It was clear they had no intention of being transparent or professional. Every interaction left me feeling like I was being scammed rather than served. These three employees made what should have been a simple, positive experience into a situation full of stress, frustration, and distrust. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from this place. Ashley Furniture should be embarrassed to have employees like Rupert, Donald, and Dustin representing their business. I'll never step foot in this store again, and I strongly warn anyone else to avoid it unless you want to deal with shady practices and a team that clearly doesn't care about customers.

It turns out that he didn't know anything about the furniture but instead told us everything we wanted to hear to get us to spend over $8k on a new living room set and some cleaning supplies that they recommended for use on their products. After a couple days, I noticed that a wet spot on our ottoman from our dogs drool. I grabbed the new cleaning spray and microfiber towel to try and clean the area but as I rubbed, my rag started turning brown and where I was rubbing was now ORANGE. I wasn't sure what was going on but let it sit and dry to see if that would magically fix but nope still there. I went back up to the store to ask them about it and how to fix it and their response was that there was nothing they could do about it because once the sale is done they dont care anymore once they got your money. I did not make a scene in the store as much as I wanted to but we all know it doesnt solve anything. I tried to contact customer support directly before posting online and their customer support was the absolute worst. By the end of it, I was accused of using the wrong rag because it was 'too abrasive'....it was a super soft microfiber towel for crying out loud. After not getting anywhere because you are apparently not supposed to use a microfiber towel. They tell me that looking at the case, it was closed and completed but yet I am still stuck with spotted furniture and its ruined. They closed the case because they don't want to help their customers. So now we are stuck with furniture that is only a couple months old and orange spots everywhere because apparently you cant clean it EVER.....I will never shop their again and strongly urge everyone else to avoid them if possible.

After investigating I found a hole, not huge but not small either, in the dust cover under the Brand-New Sectional Sofa. I called Furniture Row to have them repair it and was told I could and should "Duct Tape it. "It's only a dust cover and duct tape would be stronger than the cover itself." My response, "What? I realize it's only a dust cover but really? Duct Tape my New Sofa?" His smug response, "Well what would you like for us to do?" I said I wanted it repaired and he said, "We will call you to schedule that repair." Keep reading. Let's back up a little. I recently moved to Amarillo and need to purchase an entire house of furniture. Not in a rush, I have driven to a lot of furniture stores in town, a lot. Furniture Row has nice, friendly and not pushy sales people. From what I have found their prices are comparable if not better then like quality around town. I also purchased 4 bar stools. Was told it would be 2 weeks to arrive from warehouse in CO and they would call me. If you read other reviews, you won't be surprised to hear I needed to call Furniture Row 2 weeks later and ask about my order. Communication from Furniture Row seems to be an issue. I was told 2 of the bar stools are on backorder for 3 or 4 months! It sure would have been nice to know that prior to paying for all of them and going home with only half the order. Do you really think I will get that repair call? I don't, and I won't spend another penny at Furniture Row. That's too bad, the sales people are pleasant and really not pushy.

    I liked this store. It reminded me of how Big Lots used to be before they turned into a Target…read morestore. Big Lots used to get discontinued items that other stores were moving out to make way for new merchandise and they had real cheap prices. Over the years I saw them change to a store that carries basic merchandise that is very similar to what a Target or Walmart would carry. Tuesday morning still has that wide variety of products and you never know what you will find there on any given visit. They almost always have a little bit of yarn although they didn't have any that I could use today, no acrylic, only wool and cotton. They had a wider variety of scrapbooking and craft items than I remembered. They had lots of pots and pans and dishes and kitchen items, Linens, figurines, candles, fragrances and lotions, even some food items like cookie mixes, coffee syrup flavorings, candies and cookies. I didn't see any coffees and only saw a pumpkin flavored tea that I can recall. I wandered around for about an hour and spent under $20 but it was very entertaining if you enjoy just walking around and looking. I also think it would good be a good place to look for a gift item. There were plenty of customers, not crowded but bustling. I encountered one clerk who was extremely nice, a young girl who asked if I needed any help and if I wanted her to go get me a basket. The cashier was much more blase like she wished she was someplace else. I didn't have occasion to use the restroom. The store is barely visible from the outside, being overshadowed by the Big Lots store next door, but on the inside it's really quite big and full of lots of goodies.
