Prairie Path Pet Care is AMAZING! I contacted Matt last week based on recommendations from people here. He messaged me right away and set up an appointment to meet my pups and me. He was very professional and made friends with my big (and often difficult dogs) right away. For the 4 days we were gone, Matt came to take care of furry family members 3 times a day. He walked them, played with them, fed them and gave them treats! At the start of each walk, I received an email that Matt had arrived. After each walk, I received a summary of what happened, a gps map of where they had been and photos. The piece of mind that my dogs were well taken care of, in a place they are comfortable (not stressed at a kennel), and the constant communication were so amazing. Not only that, I knew that someone was checking on the house/coming/going thus deterring thieves. What made it even better was the the price! It was sooo affordable! Prairie Path Pet Care is nothing short of fantastic! We rescued a 9 week old puppy last summer and were so grateful to find Prairie Path Pet Care to help us out with daily dog walking services. First off- let me mention they are great with puppies (we all know they're not easy). It was nice to see that whatever training we were setting our puppy up with- Prairie Path Pet Care also was able to facilitate (i.e.- ringing the bell to be let out, behavioral commands, loose leash walking, etc). Your hard work is actually reinforced! There were even a few emergencies along the way and Prairie Path Pet Care handled each one expertly. I have come to fully trust them. Our girl is now over a year old and still loves her daily visits with her walker. I really do think they were a crucial factor in her becoming a pleasant and well-rounded dog. I should mention- you are always in the know with GPS tracking, immediate visit summaries, and plenty of pictures. It's even a cinch to update the service schedule! Prairie Path Pet Care Park Ridge goes above and beyond to care for your pets. I've been using Prarie Path for about a year now and have nothing but positive things to say about them. My German Shepherd, Maximus, was trained through them and we get compliments all the time on how well behaved and how obedient he is. Maximus also gets daily walks through them and I love getting real time updates through the app from his walker(s). Like mentioned above, Michelle, Matt, and their team go above and beyond for your fur babies-- For example, once my dog was sick while I was at work and Matt went with the walker to help out, stayed longer with Maximus to ensure he was okay, called me to let me know how he was doing, and even offered to take him to the vet. Matt and his team at Prairie Path Pet Care - Park Ridge are fantastic! I have 2 dogs: one is a very senior female who is aging and requires extra attention getting motivated to go outside; the other is a one year old rambunctious puppy who bounces off the walls. Needless to say, these girls require varying attention and lots of love. This is where Prairie Path Park Ridge comes in....all I can say is that they have exceeded my expectations! They arrive twice daily, I am notified by email as to when they are in the house and when they leave. I also receive photos after the visits, a status as to who did what on their walk, status of treats, water and playtime and how well behaved (or mischievous) they were. I used this service for a weekend away a few years ago and then set up a regular daily walk recently. The set up process was seamless and thorough, including a meeting with the dog and the walker, as well as the owner, Matt. They have technology such that you know the exact time they spend walking by scanning in and out, you get pictures of your dog and a description of the walk, as well as the gps route! Fabulous and thorough! When I contacted them recently to do a daily walk, I had someone there the next day to walk her. The company is very responsive, trustworthy and organized. Our walker, Tara, is caring, kind and patient with our little shih Tzu dog (carrying her over puddles!). Highly, highly recommend! I recently relocated to Park Ridge and found myself in need of pet care for my kind of "special needs" supposed to be a pure bred but probably not little guy Murphy. He's the sweetest dog ever and I have never left him with anybody but family. I was hesitant about using an outside service when I needed to leave him for a week but after an initial meeting with Matt & Carol I could not have been more reassured. I received daily reports and was able to rest easy knowing he could not be in better hands. He received the extra attention he needs and their care went above and beyond. Carol is amazing. Our dog was so calm and happy when we got home from our two week vacation, and I know it was because she was being loved when we were gone. Carol also sent us adorable pictures every time she visited our dog, which made us feel more confident that Béarnaise was having a great time and we needn't worry about her. So much peace of mind!! Once a few months after our trip, we ran into Carol on a dog walk. My dog spotted her from across a busy road and started crying and whining and trying to get to her to say hello. I can't tell you how grateful I am, to have found Matt and his crew. I wasn't looking for a simple solution - I have an older cat who needs fluids every couple days, and I had to be out of town for two weeks. How in the heck was this going to work? Prairie Path Pet Care came to my rescue! They were amazingly reliable, and quickly resolved the one unavoidable glitch that did arise. Kathy is a vet's assistant and so was able to take the lead, but Matt was curious and attentive and actually administered treatments himself on the days that Kathy was unavailable. A year ago my wife and I had moved to Park Ridge and were in need of a walking service for our dog Jessie. After looking at a couple of different organizations we had the opportunity to meet with Matt from Prairie Path. Matt made the whole process smooth, and ended up being Jessie's walker for the start of service. I'm surprised not to see more reviews on here because Prairie Path Park Ridge is awesome. Very easy to communicate with management and their walkers are all professional and great dog lovers. My FeFe particularly loves his current walker Luis and I think he's rather snuggle than walk but he gets out there and books. He's loved Victoria and Jessica but right now Luis is his main man. I'm so happy they are dependable, reliable and caring with my little baby. I'm very overprotective so that says alot. You can't go wrong with their services or their walkers. read more

How I love Prairie Path Pet Care! When I moved here from California, I needed someone that I could count on to come to the house to walk and entertain my yorkie due to my long days at work. They are great, always on time, have an easy to use online software program that allows you to book and track the walker, and they write really great feedback with send photos so you know they spent their time doing what they are supposed to be doing, taking care of your pet. I had a great experience w this pet care service! Michelle walked both my dogs Remy and Gracie Mae. I was a bit nervous because my dog Gracie is a rescue and is very nervous around new people but Michelle eased my concerns by scheduling a meet and greet first so my dogs could get to know her before the actual walks.
