REALLY good food. I'm 15 years old and often go here with friends after skating. The food is always really good and everyone is always so nice. The owner is sooooo nice. At first I was bummed that hook burger was gone but now I'm happy they changed it to this. Healthy alternative to burgers and not very pricey read more

Pretty average at best...I use to work for instacart and this guys would have use buy his patties from Smart and Final.

Great burgers and fries. So glad we went there with so many choices nearby. Would definitely go again.

If you want to wait a half hour for food and have it be like warm, Fun Burger is your place. They can't handle any volume of customers. So disappointing read more

If you looking for high quality Sandwiches and great atmosphere go to Fun burger! I went with couple of my friends we all have different order and they were all great and tasty! The service and the employees are very nice and officiant. Fun Berger is very clean and really fun place to eat with you family, friends, coworkers, or partner. I really recommended if you haven't try it. read more

Legit one of my new favorite spots in Simi. The burgers were amazing we also had the fried mushrooms and onion rings and both were on point. Healthy portions. This place ranks now in my top 3 places in Simi to eat. I will definitely be returning and recommending friends and family also try it. read more

When they get the food right it's pretty good. Unfortunately they have a habit of delivering their salads without any dressing. Forget about it if you want any extra dressing. read more

Excellent experience.great staff great food . I couldn't believe that I had the most delicious Tuna and shrimp sandwich just for $8,99 each . Definitely will go back . read more

If you sit at the Sycamore freeway cross section and you wonder if you should get Chick-fil-A or FunBurger go with FunBurger. I promise you won't be disappointed. Their servings are very generous and everything I've had here is extremely delicious. My favorite is the chick fun spicy and the onion rings and my boyfriend keeps getting the onion deluxe. We're kind of obsessed and a little bummed they close so early because we are such late people but we try to go during the day when they're open. We keep coming back! Great quality food and good service. read more

Amazing costumer service ! I was greeted as I walked in and greeted with a smile at that!! and a new favorite restaurant on my list !

Way Way to much seasoning used in my burger and fries, my first bite was good but..... Couldn't finish them. Burger had pockets of too much salt. Please train the cooks better, a little pride would go a long way. Great location, right off the freeway. Games for the kids. Place was empty while I was there. read more

This place is very underrated in my opinion it gives Chick-fil-a (practically next door) a run for their money. I had the #5 and I cannot wait to go back and try something else. They have games for the kids and a pool table for everyone else. I also loved the trunk of a tree table! This place kind of reminded me of Fudruckers in Ventura. read more

I've been to this location a couple of times now and not only was my food very good and exactly what I ordered but also, the service was very good. I wish I had gotten the young ladies name that served me, for she was pleasant and professional both times. I will definitely be back. read more

Anyone saying this is better than Hook Burger probably never went to Hook Burger. This is now an average burger place. I can already tell by management choices this place won't last through the year. Let's see, we have orange awnings, orange tile everywhere, orange couches, so, let's put up a RED sign ?!! I know it sounds menial, but just shows no thought or common sense making major decisions. What will happen? Stay open for awhile, get a clientele built up, then shut down for a couple weeks, remodel, and raise prices to pay for it? Alienating your new customers. Or leave it, and have an ugly color pallete? I know it seems small, but this is what kills businesses, especially the food industry, with so many options. Hook Burger's Bistro Club was one of the best Chicken Sandwiches anywhere, and it's been replaced with chicken smothered in 1000 island dressing. Not very creative. And yes, the sodas were already there, even as Hook Burger, and Hook had bun choices, so no upgrades were made there. Besides, if you read other reviews, you will see the owner will not allow changes in the bread if it's not something he likes. WHAT!? Because you don't like it, I can't have it?! Wow! Great business decision. Plus several other excuses, rather than just being accountable to his customers. Stubbornness always wins over customers, HaHa read more

Just tried Fun Burger for the first time on whim. We were pleasantly surprised, pretty tasty. I had a barbecue grilled chicken burger and my hubby had a fried shrimp sandwich, both were good. Menu has a nice variety and staff was friendly. It's privately owned, not a corporate chain. I would recommend giving it a try. read more

Tried this place on a Sunday around 3pm. There were two groups ahead of us in line to order and it took quite a while to get out order taken. But it was understandable as this is clearly a new place. We ordered two burgers, 1 order of fries and 1 soda. Came out to $20. The cashier, who seemed like the owner (another reason it seems like a new place) told us it would take 8 minutes and it took 8 minutes exactly! The orders ahead of us were for a party of 7 and a party of 2, so it was an understandable wait for our food. The burgers were good, good flavor on the actual patty itself; the ciabatta bread wasn't hard and overly crusty. The mixture of flavor on the burger fun chipotle and on the burger fun bbq were both good! The fries only come in one size, good for sharing but too much if you're eating alone. They have Pepsi brand sodas, plus 3 iced teas and 3 stubborn sodas. There are a few arcade games for the kids. And there are TVs, beer and wine too. All in all, good flavors, decent environment (needed more AC) and a wait that was expected for fresh grilled burgers. I would try it - support a new and local business. read more

All three of us were delighted with our meal. Hubby had a double, my mom had the original, and I had a chicken on sourdough. The onion rings were plentiful and yummy. We split an order of mushroom fries and though they were a bit salty, there weren't any left! Hubby and mom both had their ice cream shakes and were quite satisfied. We will definitely be back to try other items. read more

first time trying this place and i love it. i'll definitely come back here when i'm in the area again. the fun burger was delicious and they definitely cook it up with the avocado so good! read more

No where near as good as Hook Burger. I had a chicken sandwich and my husband had a burger. Both were a little dry and not very flavorful. Very disappointed Hook closed. Staff was very nice and accommodating. read more

I enjoyed Hook Burger and decided to give FunBurger a try. I will not be back. I ordered the Chickfun Spicy sandwich with the fried chicken. Honestly, it should be called Chick Blah. Absolutely no flavor, no spice, nothing! Sadly, this was one of the worst meals I have had. I took it to go or I would've sent it back and gotten my money back. I also ordered the onion rings. Not much flavor. Tasted like s processed frozen onion ring. On a more positive note, the staff was friendly and the sesame hoagie bun was fresh. I'm excited to see so many new restaurants opening in Simi, but I am disappointed with FunBurger. I don't think it will survive long unfortunately. read more

Fries aren't great. Kind soggy with no salt...burger has no flavor or seasoning. I ordered the Cali burger and it was very bland. Only thing I liked was the ciabatta bread and quality of the meat. But it ends there. read more

What a great staff and nice owner of this restaurant me and my family got. Thanks guy for the delicious food, I have been coming here mostly not just their food but their great staff. I heard they are going to have a drive thru just because of Covid so we can order fast and easy for their customers 10 stars read more

I definitely didn't have fun at Fun Burger. First of all, when I got there, there were two parties ahead of me in line. I waited 30 minutes before being able to place my order. At no time did anyone take notice of the line and bring out another cashier. I ordered a turkey burger protein style. I said it twice. When the burger arrived, it was on a bun. So, my boyfriend had to start eating without me lest his burger get cold. When my burger did come back, it was correct. It was, however, cold, dry, and over done. Sorry to see a good burger place be replaced by this. read more

Still one of the better burgers in Simi Valley. I was pleasantly surprised when I went there being a fan of the former Hook Burger. I recommend this place to anybody in Simi Valley. read more

It's a burger place. The burgers are fine but nothing special compared to all the other burger places in Simi. It's not Hook. The claim before was that they would have the same menu as Hook but that's not the case. My favorite items from Hook are gone- The Caprese Chicken Sandwich and Bistro Salad with grilled chicken. Seems like the healthier items Hook had were replaced by more fried stuff like fried mushrooms and Falafel. It's disappointing to lose Hook for just another burger place. read more

We went to the Simi Valley Fun Burger for the 1st time. Great experience. What a treat for our family, Burgers, chicken, Vegan and gluten free options... and FREE video games. Food was excellent with a round of Pac Man and Air Hockey! And add customer service, the manager gave us a free round of drinks (soda) when he heard it was our first time at FunBurger! read more

I just had a fun burger and it was excellent! I was looking for a great new taste and stopped by and ordered a burger with mushrooms and cheese, YUMMY!!! They offer a variety of salads as well. Looking forward to explore the whole menu!!! Thank you Fun Burger, I'll see you again soon!!! read more

Way better than Hook burger on my first impression and the prices seem more reasonable as well. Tv's, beer, wine, and a lot of food options. With so many burger joints in Simi, this place tastes fresh and not just some typical sandwich/ burger place. I got the falafel burger and my gf got the spicy chicken sandwich. Both of us were pleased. If you don't want to wait in chic fil a's line -- give this spot a chance. My only complaint is you could smell the sink on the other side of the bar. Not their fault since it's the same design as hook burger but I'd rather not have that type of smell as I eat or watch the game. Don't know how long it will stay open but worth a try. read more

let me just start off by saying that i've lived in simi valley my whole life and I support the local businesses needless to say that FUNBURGER is defiantly one of my favorite spots the food is exceptional very fresh and good the place is clean they also have a nice variety of draft beers and something that I really liked was the pac-man machine I can see why people love this place it's really got something for everyone the burgers are so good and tasty I got a cali fun chicken burger and the smell and look and taste of it were all perfect the fries were very good and I got a Saint Archer beer and is was refreshing the cashier who took my order was very nice and helpful exceptional service she checked up on me making sure that I was happy with my visit her name was Karen then I asked her if I could meet the cook who made my burger his name was Mauriso he told me he was happy that I liked my burger overall my visit at FUNBURGER was great a well earned five stars. One thing I would like to note is that I believe it would be even better if there was a more variety like some wings because I feel like this place has even more potential to be something more than just a fast food restaurant. Thank You :) read more

I haven't had a tasty and juicy burger like that for awhile. Thank you very much it was so delicious!

Delicious burgers and salads. Fun burger turn what once was Hook burger and made it delicious and a more friendly establishment. I congratulate the new owner for putting the effort and hard work on his business, by being the face of Fun Burger. Very friendly guy and cares for his staff. Thank you Mr. Ron! read more

From what was previously a Hook Burger comes Fun Burger here in the local community. I had experienced the former establishment's fare and found it quite appealing. The service offered by Fun Burger provided a wonderful expansion. The interior has a simple, but good metropolitan feel with concrete walls and cushioned seating along the edges. It's the kind of place where construction workers and other heavy labour types would go to enjoy big food that fills them up and tastes good, too. Against such an adult perspective, it has a good family aspect in providing games, both video arcade and that of coin prizes. Four large screen TVs are available for a variety of entertainment including political discussions, local and world news, talk shows and sports. Music also creates a good upbeat ambiance for the dining experience. The food itself, saved for last, comes as highly satisfying. Both beef and chicken sandwiches are available from a simple menu with around half a dozen varieties for both, with my own personal experience being a simple double beef burger with cheese, plus an excellent sampling of the triple fun fries in original, sweet potatoe, and spicy Cajun, the latter being particularly enjoyable. Malts and shakes are also available in over half a dozen flavours. The service itself was very gracious, both from what I believe was the owner/manager and that of the accompanying staff, who were all pleasant in their communication and promptness. I thank them for providing this dining experience with a 4.9 of a five-star rating. Why so? To declare anything perfect, there remains no chance for improvement, one which will be discovered in its own time by the respective staff. May they continue to provide wonderful service to the local community, and have both peace and prosperity in their business as a burger shop. Thank you, Fun Burger! read more

Ordered chicken sandwich. I felt it was too stretchy. Im going to skip this one next time.

I have lived in Simi Valley for the past 28 years and naturally I do support businesses in the my city. Therefore, I am always on the look out for new businesses. Fun Burger is a new addition to our city and as a consumer and a burger lover wanted to try it out for myself. So, here it is, the food is good. Better than good. The friendly employees always with smiles and the service alone will bring me back and again. Today was my 3rd visit and will absolutely go back again. read more

I would prefer 3.5 stars to be an option. This was our second visit since it because FunBurger. We enjoyed our food both times. This time, there was definitely a staffing issue. Just one person in the front managing taking orders, running orders, and making shakes. She was struggling as there was a table with a problem and we waited a while for our order to be taken. And then when our order was ready, it was sitting up there for some time before she couldn't bring it to us because she was busy making shakes. The food was hot still and we enjoyed our meals. She also brought one order of the wrong fries, which was ok because I don't mind the other kind, but would have required more waiting if I didn't want them. Overall we just think more than one person needs to be helping up front. We will probably wait to come back only because we have toddlers who have a hard time waiting, but everyone enjoyed their meals. Also the cashier was kind and helpful. read more
