This was the best burger I've had in such a long time! The service was great and the food was delicious. My kids actually ate ALL of their food and played some games, my husband had a beer and I enjoyed my meal while watching the News. Great place to eat and very, very clean. They also had healthy options and we got our food fast. Will definitely come here again!! read more

Wanted to finally check this place out. Had a coupon for a family meal with 2 adult burgers two kids meals and 4 fries and 4 drinks. We ordered two burgers they gave us one with no fries than we asked where the other burger was and 20 minutes later got it but still missing two fries. No pickles when I asked 3x for some. Foods super greasy/salty and not much taste. Bbq burger was okay. Coating on the onion rings not impressive and super greasy with it tasting like real old used cooking oil. The only thing good was my Barqs soda. Doubt we'll be back. read more

Ordered the onion deluxe burger bread was good but no flavor at all. String beans and mushroom fries were over cooked greasy blobs. Tasted like old grease. Ranch tasted like sour cream. Door to enter the place was sticky/dirty. I hope I don't get sick from this place. Had better food with illegal street vendors. The place was dark and let's just say I felt like a needed a tetanus shot after going in there. We won't be back. Simi Valley Fun Burger read more

They should rename this place "Fun Burger Sports Bar"! Went last night with my buddy for something quick to eat as a friend told me they were under new ownership. Ended up staying for the Super Bowl and we had a blast. I ordered the "Signature burger" and the "Avocado fries" which were the absolute bomb! Never tried avocado fries before which was a treat for sure. I had one of the on tap IPA's which was excellent and best of all well priced! Did I mention the prices are very good for the quality of the food along with the excellent service from the staff? I'm local and only ate here a couple of times under the previous ownership but haven't stopped by for a while but good thing I did. I was able to meet the new owners Tony and Opal, who were happy to share the upgrades they've made to improve the overall quality of the food, drink and entertainment which was quite evident after my visit. I'm all about the beef which is the heart of any burger and Tony only sources Angus grade beef, never frozen! This makes a huge difference in the final product. For dessert I order the "Apple pie shake" and it was truly the icing on the cake with a cherry on top. All natural ice cream made the "Old skool" way...excellent kudos to Fun Burger! Highly recommended and will be one of my regular stops here in town. Happy to have you guys now in our Simi Community....welcome! Alex read more

The only reason we come here is because the kids like to play. Food is not that good, Burgers are dry, fries taste greasy and not a good vibe inside the restaurant. read more

I an giving this review without even having my chicken sandwich. They have one guy doing everything. My problem is he took my order and money then went back to cook orders without changing Gloves!!! Huge problem!! Nothing else matters when you don't handle food right. 4 different orders and still the same gloves. Really???? I can't come back. The kid is working hard but, dam the covid is real. Way to much to handle watching him touch everything without glove switch or washing hands. I hate to give one star but, peoples lives man. read more

GREAT experience!! We had a large order of about 10 Items with modifications on almost all of them. And it was spot on- perfect! Mauricio was very accommodating and even called me (online order) when he forgot one item. Luckily, I was still in the parking lot. The food itself was yummy! I will definitely come back here. Thank you for a great experience for my entire family. read more

If i could put 0 stars I would, worst experience at a restaurant ever! I just took my 15 year old daughter to Fun Burger in Simi Valley for a meal. The person who took my order, I believe was the manager. He was very insistent on up selling products which I wasn't interested in. When the food came out, the buns looked greasy and I asked why. He started screaming at me that I was so angry and prejudice and began cussing at me. He told me to return the food and he would give us back our money. When I picked up the plates and tried to give it to him, he immediately said, "You touched the food, I will not pay you. Sue me". Not the best experience to have with one's child. Needless to say, he basically stole $15 from me and tried to initiate a fist fight. read more

Really good food, clean, reasonable price, and friendly servers. Not the quickest by any means but the huge TVs help pass the time. Kid friendly even with the alcohol service! Definitely will return! read more

This place is absolutely gross. Walked in at opening and there were several half cups of old shakes littering the "fun" area. The bench was filthy with food after wiping it down myself the napkin was black. Food order was wrong. Was reprimanded by staff after complaining about cleanliness and was told to leave by Karen the manager. Never again I'm sure it will close soon anyway. read more

I had the fish burger, and it had a strange piece of rubbery something in it. My boyfriend had the original fun burger and said it was OK, but nothing special, especially considering the price. One positive was the fries, which were very good, crispy on the outside . read more

best burger ever, favorite, love it. mmMmMm cheeseburger fun burger offers delicious delectable burgers and fries at a decent price and i couldn't be happier send tweet read more

A surprising, exceptional beer selection! Always find a gem. The mushroom fries are fantastic. Never disappoints!

My son and I ate here before Covid19 and it was really good. Ordered today, through Postmates, and very disappointed. I asked for my salad dressing to be on the side, so it wouldn't be soggy when it arrived. There was no dressing in the bag. I don't have dressing at home, so it's very blah. Fries tasted horrible! They were soggy. Needless to say, I won't be ordering to go from this restaurant again, too many other choices, who pack the items correctly. read more

Fun Burger is awesome! The owners and workers are the best and so nice. The food is tasty and made with care. My favorites are the grilled chicken sandwich, the BBQ chicken salad, the fried cauliflower (these are the best I've had anywhere), and their chocolate shakes. Im now a regular here, but came in yesterday and they were having a grand re-opening and everything was 50 percent off. They even had free cupcakes and a free candy bar.. It was so crowded, but they made sure everyone was well taken care of and smiling. They have huge tvs inside and out with Dodger games and other sports. Can't say enough good things about this place! read more

Just left this DUMP. One star is three too many. Ordered a "Beef Califun Burger" with fries. The fries were NOT fresh potatoes and were so greasy that when I put a napkin on them to remove some of the grease, it got SOAKING wet with grease. That was just the beginning. The burger was SUPPOSE to have Avocado but none was to be found. The "lettuce" was sopping, limp. The pickle (?) was a vinegar advertisement. Worst of all, the whole thing was coated with a TERRIBLE sauce (coated isn't strong enough!) that was a bad imitation of 1000 island. I left the plate and complained to the cashier who offered to refund my money until someone who looked like a MacDonald's reject, said no way...let him eat somewhere else. TERRIBLE food and Terrible attitudes. One star is overrated. By the way, I HATE MacDonald's but this place is actually worse. read more

Omg! So good! I went because my friend recommended it to me for their salads. I ordered on their website for pick up and they have a discount promo code. I ended up getting the Chipotle chicken burger for myself and the beef Chipotle burger for my husband. We were blown away by how good it was. Its restraunt quality with quick friendly service. Great outdoor patio eating area. Wish they had wifi because so many places are closed right now but the food was fresh and delicious we will continue to try their different items. read more

You all... I have got to tell you! My son is in high school and about 2 times a week, he goes to FunBurger. This man knows my son now so well that he treats him like family. He gives my son free drinks and takes a percentage off of his bill and makes sure there is plenty of food for a teenager. My son has told me many times that I need to go there but I also have another child that I am tending to, so unfortunately I haven't had the time. Today I went in with my son to thank him for his kindness. He hugged my son and said he is like family! He hugged me and told me how well mannered my son is. This so much makes my heart full! This man has helped my son for 2 months and treats him like family! This is absolutely what a community does. I am so grateful for FunBurger helping me know my son is safe and feed good. Yes I feed this boy but if you have a teenager you know that they are always hungry. I always know where he is and we have great communication. It's just really nice to know that there is a village! My son loves the onion rings, fries, and sweet potato fries! He says that their burgers and chicken sandwiches are better than the fast food drive through places. Even though there are a few fast food places next to his school, he chooses to skateboard over here. He loves this place! read more

The burgers were okay, not great. They just seemed to lack any flavor. The fries were also just okay. The pricing also seems a bit high. I understand that it is a good portion of food but it's hard to spend $13-$14 on a burger and fries. Also, I had some issues with the cashier. She imputed my order incorrectly, didn't know how to use the coupon that I provided, and didn't provide me drinks with the combos I had ordered. I really wanted to like this place because it's so close to home but it just didn't do it for me. read more

Finally made it back out to FunBurger Simi Valley.... Service was great and the food was delicious. The cheese bomb was delicious!! And I could not pass up the avocado fries. Soooo good!!! Oh! Shakes are amazing too! I'll definitely be going back! read more

What happen to drive through? Not set up and blocked front door opening with a chair? Lost out on my order

Been there a couple of times. the Burgers were pretty unremarkable, but they has some hot sauce out if you want to Jazz it up and you will probably want to. good fries though. I cant say anything bad Its OK, not much of a vibe and considering both times we were there during what would be the lunch rush, the place was deserted. Hopefully they read some of these reviews and make the food more flavorful, maybe have some music going to create some atmosphere. A couple of tweaks and this place could be hopping read more

My husband liked his burger. The sweet potato fries and chipotle sauce were tasty as well. The only downside were the chicken strips I ordered were undercooked and pink on the inside. I unfortunately noticed this after I ate a couple because I was starving. Iam 8 months pregnant so this is potentially dangerous for my unborn child eating undercooked chicken. Please check the temps on things like chicken before serving to customers. Food poisoning is no joke. Especially for expecting moms and young children. read more

First of all I am writing this review as requested by my son. My family and I recently ate here excited to try a new place. We ordered 1 adult chicken sandwich that was decent. A salad that was pretty blah. An over salted kids meal cheese burger. Last and certainly worst an absolutely inedible kids meal chicken sandwich. The chicken was beyond over cooked. My son could not even bite through the over cooked patty. It was a struggle to even cut through the dried out meat. Here's the real kicker my husband presented the inedible meat puck to the owner of the restaurant who made excuses as to why we were not enjoying our meal. Apparently we ordered the wrong thing and most kids do not eat chicken sandwiches according to him. He talked & talked our ears off about the chicken his grandma made and her recipe. My husband did not want his money back and we did not have enough time to wait for another meal. He just wanted to let them know there business will not survive if that if the quality they are offering up. He was not rude or condescending in any way however the owner seemed to treat us like we were in the wrong. read more

Best burger that I have had in a while. I didn't expect such great food and service from a fast food restaurant. If you love burgers, you must try this place. That's going to be my new burger place from now on. read more

This is one of the best burger joints in all of Simi as well as the surrounding areas. Delicious burgers, and friendly staff who go over and above. My first time I ordered the original fun burger, double, with no barb Q, added mushrooms and avocado, with garlic fries and a chocolate shake. When the food was brought to the table, the waitress told me that she was very sorry, the shake machine was having issues, and she was going to make my shake by hand, so it might take a little longer than expected. about 2 minutes later she arrived at the table with 2 containers of chocolate shake and told me they were on the house due to the issues with the shake machine. The burger was absolutely delicious, as were the fries, and the shake was the icing on the cake. I drop in at the location now whenever I get the chance and it's always top notch. More often though I order this same lunch via doordash, and it's always phenomenal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a burger aficionado, and I am anxiously awaiting the opening of their new location in Valencia, in my own neck of the woods! I would say pay no attention to the few naysayers who were having a bad day and left less than sterling reviews, I can tell you, I've eaten here at least 40 times in the last year and it's never once been poor quality or bad service but exactly the opposite, 5+ stars from me (I'd give more stars if possible) Keep up the good work Fun Burger and we'll see you in Valencia soon! read more

So disappointed. The burger was a frozen patty and the bun was stale. The kids ordered some kind of chicken nuggets that were old and fried way too long. I feel bad but I had to write this because it was just so bad. I have two stars because at least it was clean in the dining area. read more

Burgers were okay but not nearly good enough for the high price point. Probably doesn't help that I compare it to hook burger which used to be at this location and was much better quality of burger. I'll probably skip this place for plenty of others when I want a burger. read more

Honestly I was really excited to try this for the first time coming from Oxnard I heard really good reviews from this spot but I got there a week ago from today I ordered my food and got it all wrong i went back and talked to the manager and told me he was going to refund me my money and fix my order and ended getting a raw burger as they replace one of them I got some gift cards from the manager but probably won't be back here I don't really like doing these reviews but this is by far the worst spot I've been too. read more

FUN burger? More like inedible burger. ordered Doordash from here and it was abysmal. the hamburger i got was like a hockey puck that sat out in the sun for a week. ordered it for two other people and they both were equally displeased. I understand the labor shortages and ill effects the pandemic world has created, but the fact you have the gall to charge nearly $60 after delivery fees for a bunch of garbage is truly despicable. read more

I had high hopes but was disappointed. Found out about this place from coworkers so I decided to give it a try. Garlic fries arrived at the table luke warm. We sent them back and the second delivery they were good. Onion rings were over cooked. My burger was burnt. Ice tea tasted funny, switched it out for Diet Coke, it was off. My husbands chicken tenders were burned, employee told him that while he was refilling his drink at the soda machine. Tenders that arrived at the table were good. Food took a while to arrive and the water faucets in the women's restroom didn't work? Won't go back read more

Not anything like hook burger! It seems like they are trying to keep some of hook burgers item, but the food is disgusting. They claim it's fresh, which may be so but there is no flavor. And the flavor profile they are trying are disgusting. It seems like who ever made the menu has no culinary background. My family and I will definitely never be back. Also they forgot our French fries that we ordered and it took forever for my kids milk shakes even though we were 1 out of 3 tables in the res read more

FunBurger has some great Burgers! We ordered the BBQ Burger and the original FunBurger. They were both great and delicious. Their ranch was fabulous. We also had a side of parmesan garlic fries which was their only down fall. They were the opposite of fun... not a lot of garlic, parmesan was just sprinkled on top, and it was soggy. read more

came by for the first time after a few of my co-workers recommended that place. Ambiance was cool, very lively and cool music. Good selection was good and I got the signature burger. Definitely a unique, delicious burger that was juicy and delicious. Highly recommend read more

It looks tacky from the outside, but the food is great and very modestly priced. Definitely worth a stop

I went yesterday. I ordered a Messy burger off the menu. It looked fairly good until I bit into the burger. Again, I was served an uncooked burger. After a few bites, I just left the rest of it there. I don't think I'll take my family there again. read more

I went to fun burger and it was not very fun I had to wait 30 mins for my to go order, on top of it the patty itself was very hard to chew, the French fries are basic with no flavor. Won't be wasting my money here again. read more

The wife and I stopped by Fun Burger for dinner tonight. I hadn't had a burger in a few months, so a good time to try a new burger place. We stopped by tonight at 6 PM and we weren't sure if it was open as there were no cars parked near the restaurant. Anyhow, we parked and walked up the steps and we were immediately greeted by a young employee who opened the door for us and welcomed us to Fun Burger. As we entered, it was pretty slow with only one other customer inside. I ordered a chipotle burger combo with fries and a drink and the wife ordered a grilled tuna sandwich combo with onion rings and a drink. The young lady who took our order was very friendly. We placed our orders and filled our drinks and sat down in a booth and our food arrived in 5 minutes. The burger was okay. The wife said hers was just okay as well. The fries were good. I thought the price of $25 for both meals was a little steep and personally I can't see a return visit. The staff are all very friendly and the restaurant was very clean, but the food was just okay. read more

First time trying this place, order was half right but not sure if it was restaurant or Grub Hub guy but we made the best is it as it was late and didn't want to call to reorder plus we got a free burger in our order. Giving the benefit of the doubt here because this place is new and I totally can appreciate working through the bugs. The food was incredible, burgers fresh my wife took advantage of the free burger which was the Fun BBQ, she loved it! The fries have a really good seasoning. All packaged really nice for delivery and it didn't take too long. We will definitely be coming back. I really hope this place makes it, that location has had a tough time...love supporting local! read more

Our first visit to Fun was good. It's nice that they retained the service crew! However, burgers are good, not great, for the price point. Odd thing, ordered the tuna steak sandwich, a little pricier, and I could not get it on sour dough bread (weird, could do this at Hook)...also, they did have sour dough in stock but they were not accomodating to my request. Personally, I did not find the value of the food commiserate with the price point...perhaps others feel otherwise. Again, it's good--not great. Food quality doesn't seem to meet the same threshold as with Hook. I do feel they have some refinements to make with service but perhaps that will occur in time. Food is good...oh onion rings were soggy and greasy, not crisp. read more
