Diggerland USA - Diggerland -- Nov 2023 parade

Pretty decent price for entry as well! The food was definitely better than average amusement park food! I would recommend doing the wet rides early in the morning and opting for the dry rides on your way out.

It was thanks to Tiktok that I learned about this place! I was scrolling the app like usual, when I…read morecame across the park's official website, and thought, "This is perfect for my nephew!" He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests. On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season. We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills. For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB. The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from. In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides. So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience was worth it.

Have yourself a fun time at this park!…read more I visited "Storybook Land" with my mother, and 5-year old nephew on a Saturday afternoon on April 26th, 2025. It cost $104.97 for three PreSeason discount tickets. We drove almost two hours from Newark to Egg Harbor Township because we heard great things about this place. It's known for having a fairytale-themed park with lots of creative statues and interactive sets that represent popular fables like "Mother Goose" and "Goldilocks and The Three Bears." The location is smaller than most parks I've been to, which is good for little kids who want to run to every ride. In a span of two hours, my family and I got on everything minus a couple attractions. There is ample parking for cars, and the entrance is bold with its large sign and white and red castle. The park played Disney music, which was soo cute! I remember hearing soundtracks from Mulan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. None of the rides felt too scary for kids, even the roller coasters weren't extreme. There's also rides where kids can feel like they're driving a car, and a train that shows you the entire park. My favorite ride was "Bubbles the Coaster" and "The Rockin' Tug." The only issue with this park are the food selections. The lunch that my family had here wasn't good- at least from the cafe right next to the exit/gift shop; everything from the cheeseburger, french fries, and cookies tasted stale and more on the cold side than the hot side. I wouldn't recommend ordering food here, but everything else was great. I don't think I'll visit again only because it's so far from where I live, but this was a good one-time experience that I was able to have with my family. If you're in the area, I would encourage you to stop by and feel like you're in a magical world!

The workers on each ride also did a great job. This place turns into a whole party at night - they even had a DJ. The kids really enjoyed themselves and it was great to see so many smiles all around. We didn't try the arcade since everyone was so tired from all the outdoor fun. Definitely give this place a try when the kids are bored, lots of fun!

I was there today and left extremely frustrated and disgusted. I know this place is a money trap- that's not my issue. I loaded $30 each on my daughter's cards and $60 on my own. They went through that money so quickly and this was a big activity for spring vacation so I added another $30 each to their cards. So $60 x 3=$180.00. In all, we played maybe 2 hrs and all the money was spent. We tried to get the 9 Wizard of Oz cards from the machine, only to find out one is super extremely rare and you can play a whole game to get the one missing card if you want but the game seems impossible. My issue is the 3 female staff members who were at the check out desk talking to each other most of the time and seemed annoyed when we came to get the incredibly underwhelming prizes. Turns out my 9 y.o. Had like 19000 points and wanted this tiny nothing toy and a slime that retails for $7.99 on amazon but cost 18500 points there. In the end we were like under 300 short for both and I asked if they could possibly overlook the pts and the two women were so incredibly rude. I get it- you don't owe me anything, I was just asking- but don't be rude. I've had other staff do this when it's not many pts and they can see you've spent a bunch of money. So my daughter put back everything and just got the slime which she had more than enough points for and the lady hands it over all rude like she was doing us a favor and didn't even mention she had like 600 points left. There was one younger male employee who was super cool and helpful. A little kindness and engagement goes a long way. Games are overpriced and the fun atmosphere from the 80s and 90s is long gone. They only care about money. Won't be back there again. Even my 9 y.o. Walked out asking why the women had been so mean to her, even before I asked for anything.

They weren't open yet when we arrived, so we waited 15 minutes for them to prep the courses. There are picnic tables and port-a-potties available for use at the entrance. One of the employees got us all checked in and provided gloves, which were free since the tickets were purchased via Groupon. You can choose from small, medium, large or extra large sizes. We stood on the deck and got our harnesses on and tightened by an employee. He went over some safety rules and we completed a trial course to ensure we understood the procedures for zip lining. Once he cleared us, we were free to navigate the park on our own! We started with course 2, then we moved on to course 4. After that we completed course 3 and finally course 1. Some of the courses were challenging but all of them were equally fun. It was a gloomy day so it wasn't busy and we felt like we could take our time completing each obstacle. The zip lining was especially thrilling and the harness is comfortable enough where you don't feel any pressure in your thighs. Treetop Quest was a blast and I hope to be back in the summer months!

We came as a group of adults and one child. We had pre-booked online and confirmed our reservations. Unfortunately my little one missed the cutoff to climb even on the chick pea course by a couple months. So we then still purchased the kids course gloves and took turns being a cheerleader with her. We also purchased gloves for ourselves which I highly recommend. We are then weighed in to make sure we are below the maximum required 250lbs weight. Then proceeded to harness fitting and course training area. Then we headed to the course 2A which was not for the faint of heart as we assumed it would be...hahaha. I witnessed a few rescues before actually going but I tried not to make that discourage me from partaking! It wasn't a hot day but found that I did sweat a lot due to the activity of course. The courses are level 1 (beginners), level 2 (moderate but with obstacles through the course and some zip lines), level 3 (mostly zip lines), 4 (most challenging course). We walked away feeling accomplished and proud of ourselves with the motto "I can do hard things"!

After going through a bag check area, your tickets are scanned. There are bathrooms and a locker area in case you want to store items...this is helpful, particularly during the colder months when you are carrying around heavy coats. You head upstairs where there are a few food areas selling the the typical snacks you'd expect, popcorn, pretzels, drinks...there was also a "grill" area but it didn't seem to be open on our late morning weekday visit. The aquarium itself is lovely with some great exhibits throughout. Wide variety of fish as expected but also some other unexpected sea creatures such as a variety of eels and jellyfish and a giant pacific octopus. The large central tank that contains various sharks, stingrays, sea turtles and other sea animals was great...and viewable from multiple sides. There are touch tanks containing smaller stingrays, smaller sharks and some reefs. There is also the "Shark Bridge" which is a cool concept. The Hippo tank is massive and offers some great up close views of them. Overall, I would expect to stay 2-3 hours, depending on how many exhibits you want to read and see. A quicker view-only walkthrough can be done in about an hour. Admission prices are about $34-$42 for adults and $29-$36 for children depending on the day...weekends are more expensive than on weekdays. I think that is a bit high for what you get...prices of about $25-$30 may be more appropriate. Be sure to check for discounts...we saved about 15% by getting tickets through AAA. Parking was $10 but there was a $5 credit when paying using the kiosk inside the aquarium. All staff encountered were great...except the parking lot attendant, who wasn't.

There's also $8 lockers right inside if you need to store something for the day (like a giant winter coat!) Some of the tanks felt very small for some of the animals, but others were massive! So I guess it varies. The mermaid experience was meh. There was an underwater mermaid swimming in a shark tank. I've seen pictures of mermaids at aquariums, and the giant oxygen pump she was using really ruined the illusion compared to other experiences I've seen pictures and videos of. You could also go see a mermaid near one of the touch tanks, but she was just sitting on a rock waving. I'm sure it's exciting for very young kids, but maybe not for 8+. I loved walking on the shark bridge, which was a wobbly netted plank over the shark tank. I knew I was safe but it was still scary in the best way possible! Overall, it was a nice few hours, but I'd say it's a bit overpriced for the amount of time it takes to go through.
