I had myself an adventure last Sunday at Treetop! One of my friends who is a regular here invited me and I couldn't wait to get started. They weren't open yet when we arrived, so we waited 15 minutes for them to prep the courses. There are picnic tables and port-a-potties available for use at the entrance. One of the employees got us all checked in and provided gloves, which were free since the tickets were purchased via Groupon. You can choose from small, medium, large or extra large sizes. We stood on the deck and got our harnesses on and tightened by an employee. He went over some safety rules and we completed a trial course to ensure we understood the procedures for zip lining. Once he cleared us, we were free to navigate the park on our own! We started with course 2, then we moved on to course 4. After that we completed course 3 and finally course 1. Some of the courses were challenging but all of them were equally fun. It was a gloomy day so it wasn't busy and we felt like we could take our time completing each obstacle. The zip lining was especially thrilling and the harness is comfortable enough where you don't feel any pressure in your thighs. I'm so happy I had the chance to finally go to Treetop Quest. This has been in the making for 2 years and we couldn't have picked a better day. We came as a group of adults and one child. We had pre-booked online and confirmed our reservations. Unfortunately my little one missed the cutoff to climb even on the chick pea course by a couple months. So we then still purchased the kids course gloves and took turns being a cheerleader with her. We also purchased gloves for ourselves which I highly recommend. We are then weighed in to make sure we are below the maximum required 250lbs weight. Then proceeded to harness fitting and course training area. Then we headed to the course 2A which was not for the faint of heart as we assumed it would be...hahaha. I witnessed a few rescues before actually going but I tried not to make that discourage me from partaking! It wasn't a hot day but found that I did sweat a lot due to the activity of course. The courses are level 1 (beginners), level 2 (moderate but with obstacles through the course and some zip lines), level 3 (mostly zip lines), 4 (most challenging course). I have to say at first I was disappointed when I drove up. But once you get down the hill they have it set up really nice. I am glad they instructed everyone great but it took 30min to go through everything. This loses children's attention and it's a lot to remember. In addition it cuts down on your time to do the course. The 7 year old had a blast doing level 1-3 however he def could have done level 4 but can't until he is 12. I think if the instructor tests them they should be allowed to do it or have someone up there. It is expensive there should be a discount for multiple people doing it from your party. This was SO. MUCH. FUN! I did treetop adventures and zip lining as a kid at camp so I was excited to try it again. The staff is very helpful and makes sure your harness is in safely. After your group is all ready to go, they have a small practice course to get used to the hooks and ropes. After everyone is done, the staff will talk to you about your experience and comfort level to get you started on a good course. They are also on the grounds throughout the course in case anyone needs assistance. There are 5 courses to choose from (1, 2a, 2b, 3, and 4) ranked from easiest to hardest. We started on 2b and then decided to do 1 after. Next time I really want to try 3 since it is mostly zip lining. Some parts are easier than others and you will definitely test your strength, balance, etc. The courses were pretty long so I feel like I definitely got my moneys worth! I believe you get either 2 or 2.5 hours for your visit so you can definitely Smdh at least 2 courses (although depending on how you do, you may be wiped out). Our family had a really great time this morning. I purchased a Groupon yesterday and booking a time for today was seamless. We arrived 15 minutes early and check in was also seamless. The safety brief was thorough with time to practice. There was only one party there with us initially and we started on different courses so we didn't have to wait. I was worried this would be too babyish for the adults but I was totally wrong. We did courses 1 / 2 a+b /3 in about 2 hours. Unfortunately we didn't have time for the 4th but that was fine with me it looked beyond my comfort level. This is a great escape from the city and I'm so glad we visited. read more

Came here for my best friend's birthday. It was soooo fun! They only give you 2.5 hours which was not enough for all the levels (1,2a, 2b, 3, and 4), but we ended up doing all the levels but 4. We also spent a little over time considering we wanted to get our money's worth of levels! I would recommend bringing sneakers with good traction as some of the obstacle courses made of all wood could be slippery. At first, doing all the zip lining and hooking yourself up was a little stressful at first, but by the end of the time, I was feeling very comfortable with it. I had so much fun! There's about 5 levels of ziplining and obstacles (level 2 has a 2A and a 2B). Levels 1-3 is suited for anyone over age 7, while level 4, you'd have to be 12 and over. I thought I was just going to br zipping through the park when I was asked to go. I had no idea there would be obstacle courses that challenged coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. It is very much physical, mind stimulating and did I mention a load of fun? After level 2A, I was a little rattled from having to maneuver painstakingly across a thin rope above trees!! Didn't even attempt level 4. Put your body to the test, live on the edge (no pun intended) and overcome your fears. If you like thrills and adventure, then this is for you. Of course you should exercise caution and good judgement according to your comfortablilty. Once you start on a course, it's kind of difficult to turn back! There are trained staff present and supervising. The ziplining grounds has a nice layout and with signage to each obstacle course. You will do a good amount of walking with steep inclines, so be sure to have a good pair of sneakers with good traction and comfortable clothing. Be well hyrdated before, during (if possible) and after. They do have little water coolers to get a sip. There's free adjacent parking and picnic tables for food and drinks before entering. We really enjoyed this place! So glad they did something with this park land that didn't disturb its natural state! I have been here twice with my eight year old- once watching him make his way through the course and the second time doing the course with him. It's fun and challenging for adults as well as kids which is usually a difficult task when picking an activity when various ages are involved! The paths are well maintained and the signs are easy to see and give enough instruction as to where to climbers are supposed to go. It's nice during the summer time as it's not to stifling hot! I'm highly recommend trying this place out! It's busier now that Covid redirections have been lifted so come early on the weekends! read more

Five stars for the blue shirts ONLY, Colton & Liv. Colton guided my grandson, who never stops talking & can be a bit whiney. He did a beautiful job with patience. And the set up is tremendous, very well designed & implemented. TreeTop Co on the other hand would probably get one star [or less]. We set our appointment for April back in March. A couple of days before they called to tell us they didn't have any staff that could come in on that day. I get that; everyone is short-staffed. However, when I said fine & asked for a refund, I was told they didn't give refunds? If you know that full staffing is a likely problem, you change your rules & offer refunds. They did offer other days, but my grandson was here from California & all other days were planned with paid reservations. So I was told they would MAYBE be able to get enough staff on the day of our reservation. Gheez...maybe? By that time I had been reading online reviews of scary incidents happening in other parks that did not have enough staff. Also, when I paid I paid extra for a sticker for my grandson; forgot to ask for it & wasn't offered it. So today I called & asked them to mail the sticker to him in California. I won tickets to go to Treetop, and I was initially nervous because I hadn't heard of it before and I didn't know if it was going to be too scary. It definitely not too easy to get through, but it was very fun! There are lots of kids who go, but there are also a good number of adults. You sign up for a two hour slot, and they go through a bit of training with you before you start. When you've finished that, they let you go into their "park", which includes five different courses you can do that increase in difficulty. The courses have different ropes challenges and ziplines. They are definitely hard and you really get a workout! My friend is usually really good at these things and even she was getting tired. So we did all of them except for the most difficult one. What a great way to spend 2.5 hours. This is perfect for anyone seeking an adventure. There are some things you should know first. They are VERY serious about safety. There is a strict 250 lb. weight limit - YES, they weigh you! They check every harness and provide training on a small obstacle course to get you started. There are about 2 or 3 employees on the ground as well monitoring safety and encouraging people who get scared or need direction. Obstacles are based on levels ranging from 1 to 4. Level 1 is great for kids (7 & up) and adults who don't want to go too high. Level 3 is mostly ziplines. Level 4 is super high and great for those with a strong sense of adventure. Away from the main course is a much smaller, contained course for little ones. Levels 2a and 2b are higher than level 1 and offer different challenges. Each level has about 6-8 courses. You MUST finish all of them. If you get scared or tired, there is no way to leave until you have completed all of the courses for that level. Don't start unless you plan to finish. This is a new attraction so it will be popular, but it never feels crowded. The employees control the flow of people that can participate. You have 2 hours to do as many levels as you want- even if you want to repeat the same level over and over. You go at your own pace and start anywhere you want. This is ALL outside. There is no indoor resting place or air conditioning. It will get HOT! Bring water. Bathrooms are port-a-pots. There is a shaded picnic/table area. Even though the course is shaded by trees, wear sunscreen and bug spray. This is in a public park. If you just wanted to check out the course, you can walk through it to see it. You only pay if you want to do the obstacles. This is definitely worth the trip! read more

My 7 year old son went here this past weekend and ended up in tears because another adult guest yelled at him for taking too long on one of the courses. He doesn't weigh very much and got stuck. One of the blue shirts did help him so I am grateful for that - but not before an impatient adult really ruined his experience. Not really the fault of TTQ but overall disappointing for all of us and expect more from adults. Will likely not be back. read more

You are never too old for an adventure. Treetop Quest Philly is located in Fairmount Park. There is about three obstacles course of varying levels of difficulties and one strictly zip lining course. Compared to other tree top adventure parks I have done, Treetop Quest Philly is pretty easy and there was no obstacle that I felt that an average person wouldn't be able to breeze through. I think given the small space they are able to bring a little adventure into the big city which I think is amazing. I just wish it was bigger. read more

The zip lining and obstacle course was amazing BUT the customer service here lacks. Nobody greeted the guests after we came for our appointment. The female instructor talked in a condescending tone and some of the "blue shirts" made it their priority to talk about their previous nights' drug use instead of watching for stragglers. Oh, and if you don't want your personal belongings to not get stolen from out your vehicle, make sure you put them in the glove compartment because "you know how philly is"... Ever since Treetop Quest opened in Philly I had been asking my friends, ok begging, to go. This place was awesome. I must say that doing Treetop did make me realize how old and weak I am BUT man is it a workout! There are 4 levels of obstacles (1, 2A, 2B, and 4) and then one level (3) of just zip lining. You are given the proper instructions at the time you arrive. Please arrive at your required time slot because otherwise you run the risk of being pushed back if someone does not come in your group. The instructor has you go through a "mock" obstacle first and then you are free to go on the obstacles in any order. It's a fun time, but if there was any advise that I could share with you it is 1) make sure you are hydrated 2) eat a good breakfast you will need all the strength you can get to make it through this baby and 3) don't be scared! YOU GOT THIS! As an update, my friends have now put me on probation or what they like to call, the "do not plan" list, since I made them work out, sweat, and possibly bruise from my choice of Tree Quest hahaha I'd do it again! read more

I heard they opened a ropes and zipline course in Fairmount park and I was really excited couldn't wait to check it out. My friend and I ventured out over the weekend and had sooo much fun. There are 5 levels with level 1 being more targeted for kids, so they typically start the older groups on 2A. Each course had you up in the trees, made me feel like I was kid again in some combination of the ultimate tree house meets a pirate ship meets playing lava with the floor being untouchable as we hopped from tree to tree. Sometimes I got intimidated but I prevailed and conquered them all. Great outdoor activity and fun for groups of friends. Definitely reccomend!!! Not for those scared of heights, you are up in those trees. You make a reservation online. It looked like they can accommodate up to 20 people (can be large group or combo of reservations). They take you on a mini orientation obstacle and show you how to move along safely and then they let you loose. There are guides who are below you and you can call out to if you have questions or are unsure. You're given given about 2.5 hours but we did the whole course in about an hour. You are allowed to repeat obstacles if desired and there's still time. The only thing I foresee being interesting is parking. It was okay since there were only a limited number of us with it being the first time slot and kind of rainy, but I can see that crowding up with a full group registered. Bathrooms onsite are port-a-potties (This is all outdoors people) so be prepared. read more

I could not wait to write a review, I haven't even showered yet after the amazing experience we had. We purchased five tickets for today and although some of our party was late, they made accommodations for us. Very quick check in and easy as well. Our instructor for the course intro was a gem. She was very straight to the point, loud and clear on the rules and how to safely navigate through the trees. She definitely takes her job seriously, and as she should. I am in pretty decent shape, but I expected to get winded by the course. Level one was a breezy, not too tough and I would recommend starting front level one every time. I got stuck at level 2a and this wonderful "blue shirt", Came to my rescue. She has ginger colored hair and she walked and talked me through the rest of the way. She was patient and encouraging and exactly what I needed. I felt like a champ after that. My kids 13 and 14, had a blast they showed no fear and enjoyed it to the fullest. I tried to conquer level four. That's not for the faint of heart I should add. Very tough on the body and mental. I ended up freezing after being exhausted and scared, so I had to be lifted down from the trees. I got caught at the green ropes on level four. A nice man in a "blue shirt" again came to my rescue. He talked me through the steps and landed me safely on the forest floor. I still feel like a champ. I found this place on yelp while just randomly looking for something adventurous to do. I have heard of something similar in poconos but driving from Philly to Poconos just for treetop quest was not something I intended to do, so I am so happy this place has opened up near Philly. As soon I found out about it, I booked online reservations for the next day and it was extremely easy to find a spot and book online. You save $2 if you book online ($49) vs walking in ($51). These are the prices for adults over 18 years old and they have different prices for different ages. I didn't think $49 was expensive but it wasn't cheap either. We booked our reservations for 1pm, and we arrived a bit late and they had no issues with letting us in with the 1:30pm group. You get to spend 2.5 hours there for 4 different levels of obstacles. 1,2A,2B, and 3 levels are mostly for kids and level 4 includes adults. Although level 4 doesn't really seem scary, it's just that the obstacles are just more higher up so if you're scared of heights, I don't recommend you do level 4. Level 4 ends with option of exiting before going through their most toughest obstacles or going though them. There was 4 obstacles at the end of the level 4, and these are the most challenging ones out of them all, so it's nice that you get an option if you wanna go through them or not. Staff is all young, and they are usually at the bottom center to guide you if you get stuck or have any questions. They will also yell at you if you're doing something wrong or acting stupid. They also encourage you and motivate you if you're scared. The only annoying part was that once you start a level, you cannot exit out, or let others go ahead of you. We were lucky enough to not have anyone ahead of us or behind us so we were able to go at our own pace. read more

I brought my students from our school's emotional support program here for a field trip. It was a group of 12 middle schoolers with a variety of disabilities and needs. Everyone had an incredible time!!! The staff was super accommodating and the kids really enjoyed themselves. The kids (and staff) pushed themselves to try new things and challenges! You've tried the rest, now try the best, This course has something for everyone. And if you do all the obstacle courses you will use up the 2.5 hours as advertised, but depending on your level of comfort with height and how much challenge you want to take on your milage may vary. It's nice that they have different price points for kids as some of the courses are extremely challenging even for adults. Granted this adult has almost no upper body strength so take it for what it's worth. So the beginner course is level 1, level 2a and 2b are both good intermediate level of challenge, level 3 is all zip line with 1 or 2 obstacle courses. level 4 is OK until you get to the choice of doing the "extension" or "exit". If you want the full challenge, go for the extension, but you have been warned. It is extremely difficult so save it for last if you want to get the other obstacles done first. The one thing i don't like about the course is htat you have no option to pass someone if there's someone slower than you in front. some of the other courses have bypasses at the connection points between obstacles so you can pass someone along the way. I think other reviewers have covered key elements of this place; process, safety, challenge, etc. I will just share some of my experience to bring more perspective. I went with a group of 8, 4 dads and 4 8 year old girls. We had an amazing experience. Both the kids and adults had a blast. Part of the safety system they have requires participants to stay attached from start to finish for each course. We did the first 2 courses (1 and 2a) alternating kid/adult to make sure all the girls were comfortable. By the end of our session they were off on their own and some of the dads did the 4th course. It was not very crowded, so we had lots of time to move around and rarely felt hindered by other groups or rushed from behind. It was good exercise on a hot August day and really a great addition so close to downtown. read more

Went for Mother's Day as my daughter and I very much enjoy these activities. The staff were very helpful and the reservation process was quite easy. However, it seemed they booked WAY too many for our session... I even heard the staff members asking each other why there were so many of us. This was not ideal with COVID, and for keeping to the time constraints. While we had a great time, I definitely would have loved these courses to be a bit more challenging. I had a great time participating at the treetop quest in philly. The instructors did a great job teaching the very basics of zip lining, and I felt more than prepared to try the course independently. The courses are fun,exciting, and challenging. However during the first course I tried a little girl was too freaked out to continue the course and I was stuck waiting for about 30 minutes until a staff member came and lowered her down safely. Later when completing the last course I was told to exit the and I could not complete the extension on level 4 because "I was past my time". I tried explaining that the reason I am passed my time was because I was stuck waiting for a little girl to be rescued. I paid $50 for two hours on the course, but a large chunk of the time that I paid for was wasted by circumstances beyond my control.
