We went to the arcade at fantasy island yesterday since it was a rainy day. There were hardly any people there since it is the off season which was nice! They had lots of different games to choose from as well! The prices of the games are a little expensive and you have to keep refilling your card with money when you run out. The average price of games was about $2.00 each. We bought a $10 card and depleted it within 10-15 minutes. All of the employees were nice and we did end up getting some candy with our points at the end!

It has a lot to do here for all ages but some games had glitches which would eat some money or didn't work but overall a great spot for kids. out of the money you spend though you won't get any prize worthy AT ALL! LOL.

This place takes me back to childhood.... outside there is a small amusement park that has some rides that are fun for kids - buccaneer, ferries wheel etc . Nothing really for adults. Inside the arcade has a mix of some old school games like skee ball, donkey kong, super Mario brothers and YES my favorite of all time MS PAC MAN!!!! They have some newer games like The walking dead etc. I think you may find something you might like or try. What I like about this place is that it uses really money. Not tokens. Makes it easier to want to get it out of your purse and play right there and then ... then to have to go a change your money into tokens. I only spent like $1-2 and maybe 30mins to an hour but the enjoyment to play a life size old school and Ms PAC Man arcade gave me such pleasure :)

The prize we won!

Me and my kids had a blast! We won a bunch of stuff and Joshua on May 28 at the ring toss was a really nice guy and you should upper the pay for him because he gave us an extra 2 because one of my three year old threw two at the ground by accident and we won!

Flashback to my childhood at the shore. I'm still terrified by the Sea Dragon. The park is very well kept and is mostly geared towards the younger crowd. I have had fun taking my nieces and nephews here as there are outside rides, games, and an arcade. Tokens cost $1 a piece now and most rides require 4-6 tokens. This is a must stop if you're on the shore and worth the trip if you're on the other side of the island.

Have yourself a fun time at this park!…read more I visited "Storybook Land" with my mother, and 5-year old nephew on a Saturday afternoon on April 26th, 2025. It cost $104.97 for three PreSeason discount tickets. We drove almost two hours from Newark to Egg Harbor Township because we heard great things about this place. It's known for having a fairytale-themed park with lots of creative statues and interactive sets that represent popular fables like "Mother Goose" and "Goldilocks and The Three Bears." The location is smaller than most parks I've been to, which is good for little kids who want to run to every ride. In a span of two hours, my family and I got on everything minus a couple attractions. There is ample parking for cars, and the entrance is bold with its large sign and white and red castle. The park played Disney music, which was soo cute! I remember hearing soundtracks from Mulan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. None of the rides felt too scary for kids, even the roller coasters weren't extreme. There's also rides where kids can feel like they're driving a car, and a train that shows you the entire park. My favorite ride was "Bubbles the Coaster" and "The Rockin' Tug." The only issue with this park are the food selections. The lunch that my family had here wasn't good- at least from the cafe right next to the exit/gift shop; everything from the cheeseburger, french fries, and cookies tasted stale and more on the cold side than the hot side. I wouldn't recommend ordering food here, but everything else was great. I don't think I'll visit again only because it's so far from where I live, but this was a good one-time experience that I was able to have with my family. If you're in the area, I would encourage you to stop by and feel like you're in a magical world!

The arcade features a variety of both classic and modern amusements, including Ice-Ball (a variation of Skee-Ball), classic arcade cabinets, crane machines, rail-shooter games, pinball machines, and more. My family and I visited Playcade this past summer while we were on a road trip. I've turned my older son onto arcades in the past couple of years, and he was super excited when I told him that the Atlantic City Boardwalk has no shortage of them. We had visited the Lucky Snake Arcade a day earlier. That place is just HUGE, but I longed for a classic arcade experience and I knew that I could get that at Playcade. They had a nice mixture of old and modern games. The prices were pretty descent too. We played a few games of Ice-Ball and then my son and I enjoyed a few games of "Ice Man". The latter is a rail-shooter game where the players use mounted water cannons to shoot and freeze zombies. It reminded us a lot of "Plants vs Zombies", which we both love. Afterwards, my son redeemed all of our tickets for some fun prizes. Overall, we had a really nice visit. If you love classic arcades then you must visit Playcade!

There are age-appropriate games and rides for the young and mature, making this the ideal family-friendly fun park. The rides are ticket-operated like many beach town fun parks. I kept some of the tickets as a memento. There are some instant-win prize arcade games to play, which again adds to this place's charm. They also offer popcorn, pretzels, drinks, and ice cream for sale. One thing to note is the ride attendants adhere to and strictly enforce the minimum height requirements for some of its rides, like bumper cars. I witnessed attendants turn away multiple kids who did not meet minimum height requirements despite the kids crying, screaming, and their parents visibly heartbroken that that they had to console their kids. I also observed some parents even question the determination by some ride attendants to deny their child entry to a ride despite the height measurement guideline being conspicuous; which I thought was odd. I understand parents do not want to see their children upset, however it is also true that no parent wants to see their child injured on a carnival ride when it could have been prevented. Overall, a very fun experience and my rule of thumb is if the kids love it, I love it too. I'll visit again when at Rehoboth Beach.

Pretty decent price for entry as well! The food was definitely better than average amusement park food! He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests. On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season. We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills. For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB. The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from. In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides. So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience was worth it.
