The vibes are off at this place and it's really unfortunate since so many littles and parents come here. The employees, manager, and owner are just rude and not friendly. We bought a punch pass, came a couple of times and wanted to upgrade to a membership for two kids which is over $700! Almost as expensive as Disneyland, except Disney let's you upgrade. I wasn't told an upgrade wasn't a possibility. A manager told me no, then the owner, no care in the world, they don't care to make an extra $600 by honoring $120 towards $700+. They just don't care. I'm bummed out because this place is actually really cool inside but I feel some of their policies really suck the fun out of it. Me and my son have made a full day of it and come early to play for a couple hours, left to grab some lunch and come back until they close for their private events, which is common on the weekends by the way. So we go to leave for our normal ritual and for some reason this time I was told that if we leave the parking lot we would have to pay for another admission to get back in.......really? When I asked why the change they said it's always been that way. I guess we got lucky and got away with it the last 50 times? It's also not posted anywhere or disclosed to you when you purchase your "all day" admission. The price we paid is for all day. Why would it make any difference if we went out to our car or went to grab lunch real quick? I have a 3 year old and we love this pizza place down the street. It seems they have this arbitrary rule to try and force you to eat at their "cafe". We've tried it, it isn't very good. Long story short. Rules like this make me not want to return. We are all about indoor playgrounds, we are pros at this game. But there are a few things about Funbelievable that just don't sit well with me: 1) It was our first time here and I asked if we could try it out and if my son liked it, could we apply the $12 entry fee to a larger package, which I would pay for during the same visit. (Every other children's place we have been to does this.) The staff member said no, they don't do that here. 2) They charge $12 per child and while they say you can go in and out, apparently it's only to the parking lot and back, not like other places where you can leave to go get lunch, and come back later. They wanted us to pay another $12 when we came back a few hours later! 3) I ordered popcorn and watched the staff member deal with my money and the register while opening the popcorn bag by STICKING HER HAND INSIDE IT. No gloves, no washing, not even some hand sanitizer. This has to be a health code violation! Done. Done. And done. read more

I've been to funbelievable twice now and I feel the sudden urge to leave my two cents. During our first visit, the play area seemed fairly clean. I was impressed! There was an employee walking around with a cordless vacum and another wiping down tables and chairs. However, during our second visit - this place looked like a tornado had gone by! It was a rainy day so it was stuffy inside with a weird odor lingering. The floors were wet, tables and chairs were out of order, and the lady behind the snack bar seemed incredibly miserable! This place is good for 6 and under. It's just a warehouse with a huge play apparatus. It's more geared for little kids. You can only wear your socks. If you forget them you can purchase theirs. They have a small snack bar with a bunch of crap they sell overpriced. There was a Groupon going on so I bought two kid passed for $15. Not bad because they are usually $11 each. If I had a toddler I'd throw a birthday party here. They have a separate party room or you can setup at a table which may be a little cheaper. They served pizza and juice. My kids got bored fairly fast. They said they only had fun playing tag with each other. They play that all the time at home so I definitely won't come back. read more

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little apprehensive about taking my 9yr old daughter. I had visions of a dilapidated building and of a horrid smell. The negative reviews were pretty vicious to say the least and I wasn't sure if I made the right choice in promising to take my daughter. In the end I DID make the right choice. When I got there I was greeted by a friendly staffer who explained to me what forms I needed to sign and once we got the usual release of liability out the way we were ready to go. Took us less than 5 minutes. Once we got in we took our shoes off and my daughter was off and running. Parents were either reading on the leather couches, playing with the kids or sitting at the tables on their phones or on their laptops. Free wifi is available and a very thoughtful amenity which I used with no issues whatsoever. I wondered what the heck the negative reviewers experienced that I was missing. I took a deep breath and it smelled like nothing. They had a strong ventilation system pumping and there were signs that instructed you to use the restroom for any diaper changes and the genie that was also available. Passed my smell test. As for cleanliness the facility was absolutely clean and spotless. Once a family vacated a table a staff member was there to wipe the table clean with antiseptic spray and wipes. They did everything from high chairs to tables and everything in between. A parent notified a staffer that she spilled water on the rug and the staffer was right on top of it soaking up the spill. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive to everyones needs including the children. Their were negative reviews on bully's and kids running each other over and that the staff wasn't watching. I found that NOT to be the case when I was there. I found that there was always one staffer watching the children play and making sure they were safe. When the one staffer at the counter wasn't busy he/she would come around from the counter clean the tables or post up and watch the children as a second set of eyes. They offered food which was reasonably priced. A go gurt cost .50 cents. They offered bottle water , apple juice smoothies and sandwiches all which weren't expensive. The best part is they allowed you to bring your own food and drinks as long as it wasn't take out. Really can you ask for anything more? Now to the kids.....my daughter sweat her tail off and spent three hours running around. She had fun and made new friends. I didn't notice any bully's or unfriendly children. Kids are going to be kids and it's up to the parent to police your own children. Parents were on the structure playing with their kids and there were no issues at all. They even had a fun toddler section as well. I asked my daughter to rate it from 1-5 and she said, FIVE. The 9yr old gives it a five. As I stated, I was apprehensive with those negative reviews but I found the total opposite. Whoever had the issues clearly must have issues themselves. I was shocked to find the opposite. My 2 year old loved this place! She didn't care much for the toddler area, she went straight for the huge play structure. My kiddo is a bit fearless and after one ride through with dad, she was riding the huge slide by herself. Plenty of comfy chairs and couches, and tables and chairs for snack time or lunch time. They do have a few high chairs for the youngsters. Hubby and I enjoyed iced coffees while she ran around. It's nice option that they have a little snack bar. You can also bring in your own snacks (just no takeout food like McD's) Overall, I thought this place was great and plan on returning. Spent a few hours on my day off with my girls playing at funbelievable! Place was clean, staff was friendly and the girls had a blast. I lost count of how many times we went up and down the big blue slide which was faster than I thought it would be. They also had a nice little sports play area with a 2 basketball hoops a soccer goal with several lightweight balls in various colors and sizes. Girls also loved the ball pit which I even jumped into myself. There is also a separate play area specifically for kids 3 and under. Little cafe was decent - tried an iced latte, kids lunch platter (lunchable on a plate) and grilled ham n cheese - kids devoured it after all their playing. Cool place to take children but the cafe staff are fu**en rude. A worker called my number out so I got my meal and they called out my order again but with a different drink and I was confused. I told the worker that they had already called out my order and she tried arguing with me saying that I should've waited. I was excited to join my daughter and grandchild to play today, but right when we walked in we were greeted by a very rude lady with an accent, she seemed like she didn't want to work by her demeanor. It also didn't make it any better with the dark curly haired girl with terrible facial expressions. Owner, you shouldn't allow to be those girls to be the first people to see when we walk in to a kids place. Turns out that was the only bad thing I can say about this place. When we walked in we saw about three staff members cleaning, and i really appreciated that a lot! One was in the actual toddler area on her knees scrubbing away, awesome! We had my sons 2nd birthday here this past Saturday. It succeeded my expectations. The staff was great and for having so many kids there, it was super clean. They also have a little cafe with tons of options to choose from. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone wanting a birthday party for kids and their guests to remember. My cousins son was talking about for two days after. Thank you FUNbelievable for providing memories for my little guy. We're definitely going to come back. This place is really great for kids I would give the facility a 5+ because it such a big open space the kids can run around and let their energy drain. The best part is adults are free and we are allowed to join them in the playground. They are constantly cleaning and vacuuming which I love because I'm a clean freak. The reason I gave them 3 stars were because of the employees at the snack shack. There was a baby area where only 3 y/o kids and below can play but nobody is managing the area so older kids are also there to play. For a 14-month old boy, their price point is too much. Every kid has the same charge, unlike other places where they prorate depending on their age. Location sucked! Kids love this place but I'm a stickler for service. Paid $50 for a 5 punch card. Then with a mixture of $1s and $5s I paid $12 for a pair of slushees in "collector cups", $2 for two cookies, $2 for popcorn, and $2.50 for a hot tea. I even tipped each time. Towards the end of our adventure I asked if they'd change my $5 bill for dollars so my kids could play a little claw prize game (that's $2 per play) and they refused to change my $5 for ones unless "I bought something else, since they're short on dollar bills". They offered me a string cheese or go gurt for a dollar so I could get $4 ones back. Forget it. Won't even return for my last three punches for my kids. I started coming here in March. Absolutely loved coming here for Toddler Tuesday. Stories(if the employees felt like it) and cookies and juice. Summer started and all of a sudden no Toddler Tuesday anymore. The worst part is that a bunch of older kids are now around because school is out. I would be fine with that but I've had quite a few experiences now where the big kids don't have any thought to the small children running around too. Parents aren't paying much attention so I'm usually disciplining a kid that's not mine and picking my 2.5 year old off the ground because one of the big kids knocked him over or threw a ball in his face. Really disappointing since I have a punch card and don't want to come back because of this. Maybe there can b a few hours once a week where the younger kids can have the run of the place? Or maybe since parents don't feel like watching the big kids, there should b more employees watching and making sure things are in order. Just a thought. read more

Is this place for adults or kids because I'm 100% sure that I had way more fun than my niece. Someone should really consider making a playground like this strictly for adults! My niece is 18 months and I think she was a little too young for this. She, along with other children her age were frightened to go in the massive play structure. There is a small play area for small children but it's not worth driving to Lakeside and paying $15. In reading other reviews I have to agree that their private party schedule has no regard for the public. I arrived in the middle of a party and had to wait 30 minutes (fortunately I caught the tail end of the party). There was no notification online and no one answered the phones. I also have to agree that there was very minimal staff watching the kids play. I recall 1-2 working the food counter and 1-2 working the front desk. It didn't bother me much because I felt the safety of my niece was up to me not an employee. And...the furniture is tattered but I spent 0 minutes sitting because I was too busy being a big kid. read more

Every time I try to take my kids I look online to see if it's open. I get my kids ready and take them only to find a sign that says they are closed untill later that day. And it makes me angry because it upsets my kids and they cry the whole way back home. Maybe they should post online if they don't plan on being open during their hours of operation. It's ridiculous. UPDATE:came back and it was open this time but we decided to never come here again.. The parents don't watch their kids and neither does the staff. Me and my husband caught a kid trying to choke our daughter and the kids parents were sitting on the couch right next to us and didn't do anything!!! They have a designated area for children under 3 which is a padded area with some balls and a slide, its neat but too many people in such a small area....my kid wasn't able to play adequately. Plus, I can hardly see 3 year olds playing in here, my 15 month old was bored in 5 minutes. This place would be fun for 4+ where they can get use of the big play structure, if you want to fight the crowds. On another note, this place is not clean. Floors and couches are gross. I bought a deal through Groupon or whoever it was for 5 visits for like $20. Good deal if you look at what they normally charge. BUT!!! That's what a thousand other family's thought too and every single time we've gone (2 out of the 5 so far) it's been PACKED. No place for my wife or I to sit except the floor. They seriously need to expand. We looked at the cost for party packages and holy smokes, they are expensive. WAY too expensive for what you get.
