We drove from Escondido to use our Groupon on a Sunday. It was not crowded at all, and my 7-year old and 5-year old loved it. We have been to Uptown Jungle, Luv 2 Play, and Kidsville playgrounds. This one was the best structure. There was a ball pit accessible to the older kids (most places have ball pits only in the toddler area). My two loved the very long slides and the area to play with basketball hoops. I even went up to the top of the structure myself to see what was up there. Lots to do!! Took my niece here on Saturday! She had fun but it was so hot in there and she got so sweaty and was burning up! They need to have a better AC since they are located in hot east county. She had a lot of fun on the big slides and in the ball pit! It was also really cool that parents could also go into the play area with their kids! The food was OK. Small snack bar with a medium selection of snacks. We got the chips and salsa and it was really tasty! But we hardly for any chips. It was very affordable. $10 for hours of playtime! This place is great for kids! We've been coming for almost a year now, we love toddler time on Tuesday mornings and the slides and the ball room! When school is out, it gets very crowded and the big kids can sometimes trample the moms and toddlers in the ball room. Lots of running around at full speed is not relaxing for a mom at all. But everyone is really nice and the equipment is kept clean. However, there is also an ant problem lately. We'll probably wait until summer is over to come back for Toddler Tuesdays. That's when it really feels safe for ones under 3 to enjoy themselves without being knocked over by a kid that doesn't even acknowledge them. read more

I give it 3 stars because my kids love it here! It's air conditioned and have a little pricey cafe. I recently had a birthday here, my kids were excited! As was I, I booked 5 months in advanced with a $100 deposit. It's super nice that I don't have to worry about anything except the cake! Week before party I get a call after i paid and they said I still owed more because there was a price change starting the day after I booked. ( i did receive an email regarding a change in balance a while back but I wasn't informed of the package change as well, which was different) The point of booking a party, was not to stress about anything, that week of the party I was so stressed about the handling of the situation and spending more than what I had planned. I looked on here and I saw the negative reviews about bad customer service. Yes I received horrible service about the handling of the situation at the time. I was informed that they have the right to change prices without notice, but I think they should be on top of advertising the right prices at the time of change and reviewing the prices at the time of booking to prevent anything like this to happen again. During the party: the two young ladies that hosted our party were very sweet and did a fantastic job! I did have to pay for one extra child (which technically I had the right amount of kids, but with the new packages I was over one) I will take my kids here on occasion but for a party, I do not recommend or will not do it again. read more

FunBelievable is just ok. There is other inside fun centers in San Diego to take your kids that is better than Funbelievable. Pricing: Under $10 per child, second child gets a discount. They do give a military discount. Size: Its smaller than most fun centers Cleanliness: smells like pee. I doubt they clean this place regularly. If they do, then I would be totally surprised due to the smell. Supervision: NONE. Parents must watch their own children, which is fine, because I love interacting with my kids. The parents who do not watch their kids are just lounging around on their phones not paying attention to their kids pushing and cutting in line. WHERE ARE MANNERS THESE DAYS! Food: A snack bar. Coffee, juice, soda, snacks, fruits...etc...etc...Its sufficient, but do not go there expecting to eat lunch. Babies: There is a small baby pit for your 2 and unders to play. We liked it, because we could sit and have one on one time with our baby and then we would take turns hanging out with our 4 year old in the larger play area. This place is located in a business park. Which is fine, because on the weekend there is plenty of parking. The staff are just a bunch of teenagers, so do not expect to be treated like kings and queens when you walk in. The service was satisfactory though. My kids review: "Mom, I want to go back there!!" My 7 year old grandson loved this place! The staff were nice and the very large play structure kept him busy for at least two hours. The food was reasonably priced and the place is kept clean and orderly. I would have given it five stars, but I think they need some type of monitoring in the top part of the play structure. The kids love to play up there, but there is no way to see or hear what the kids are doing without climbing to the top of the structure yourself and remaining up there with the kids. read more

I love this place! And so does my toddler. I've taken my son to other indoor playgrounds ever since he was able to sit unassisted (KidVentures, Gymboree Music & Play, My Kids Clubhouse) and this is by far my favorite one. I like that the little ones (3 and under) have a separate section and the employees keep an eye to make sure older kids stay off the area (there's a sign too). And this section is not just basic toys like at other places; they actually have a big (to them) slide with steps, and a section underneath where they can hide/play. They also have largem soft lego blocks and a circular ball pit and another little fenced in area. ALL this in the 3 & under section. Wow. Impressive. The large structure itself is AWESOME! It's paddled all throughout. There's a ball pit area for several kids with a suction tube where kids fill up the top then they're released. Kids love that! There's different ways to navigate the play structure and kids don't get bored. Best part of all, parents are able to go on, too, which is perfect for parents of toddlers like myself. There are 2 slides but the large blue one is the most popular. It looked intimidating at first but it's so much fun! Theres also a fenced ball area with lots of soft balls and basketball hoops. My son loves to kick & throw balls so its great that it's fenced in. Another huge plus: PARENTS ARE FREE! I only wish it was located in central SD :( read more

Had a 'semi private' party for my two children ages 3/5 last weekend. Will list all as pro's and con's to keep it simple: Pros: *Did not charge me extra to celebrate two birthdays at one party *Large cutely decorated room *Very helpful staff, no problems in that area what so ever :) *Kids were having a blast and busy with play entire time, not bored for sure! *Allowed me to come in a little early before guests *Facility was very neat and clean - even restrooms *Very accommodating to babies, i.e.: high chair in party room/changing table area in restroom/vast play area for ages under 3 *birthday was at 1030 am - over at 1230 pm, allowed us free play time until 3 pm! - I believe some party times can be scheduled with out the extra free playtime after- DO NOT schedule this time, if your guest are late it will ruin the party- so glad to have extra time :) #1 'stand out pro' : GREAT STAFF!!!! 5 STARS THERE :) Cons: *The carpet in the indoor play facility did not look dirty but it smelled really rank! Almost like a daycare that spills formula on the carpet all the time with out ever cleaning it. They need to invest in a new idea for flooring with all the business traffic they get or else DEEP clean the carpets way way more often *the black couches are really really poor quality, like 'I feel springs poking my butt' bad *they can not put cake or ice cream in the freezer - these are the only food items you are allowed to bring so make sure you have an ice box; I didn't *the pizza is about as poor of quality you can get - comparable to little Cesar $5 pizza but 3x's the price *the birthday 10% discount coupon they gave me for our next party does not include a 'mini' party which I though was pretty cheesy and cheap. *Pretty darn expensive, our party cost a total of $390.00 after we ordered the adult food (one pizza and one veggie tray). Great place for younger kids! The play area is very clean and well monitored. There is a lot for the kids to do and there is a separate area for babies and toddlers. The best part is that it is inside so you can take the kids there to blow off their energy in any weather. I took off a star because I would prefer to be able to bring my own food as my diet restricts a lot of the food and drinks they sell. But if you're like me and have to bring your own food they make you eat it outside. Same goes for if you have a birthday party and don't purchase their birthday package. This place has gone downhill since we first went there. It isn't nearly as clean and the supervision is lacking. A large part of the problem is with the parents who think they can just sit and read a book or gab and completely ignore what their kids are doing. There should be at least 1 employee positioned at the top of the structure near the zip line buoy ball and the slide. Kids get on the buoy balls and won't get off to allow other kids to enjoy them too. This is a parent issue however having an employee to enforce that all are able to use them would be helpful. We used to love going to funbelievable, sadly they've sold their soul to groupon and well crowded would be an understatement. When we left after only an hour because it was crowded I asked if they had a limit on the # of people they let in and the girl at the front desk basically told me it was too crowded for her to keep track of all the people going in and out. It was impossible to safely supervise my boys because with so many people in their large structure it made it difficult to see them and know where they were. Another mom that was there with us, was discreetly breastfeeding... not showing any skin and because another customer complained was approached by an employee and harassed about covering up. Good thing this experienced mama knew that the law protected her rights to feed her baby. Shame on funbelievable!! I highly doubt we will be back. read more

When we first got greeted at the door, the cashier was extremely unfriendly just said how many sign this here you go. Went inside and asked about the food because the lights were off in the snack shack and the attendant said we only sell prepackaged foods now, so I'm assuming because of Covid right well the lights turned on and I saw someone making a smoothie so I asked her what they were currently selling and she said food. I explain to her that I was told that they only sell pre-package and she said "well yeah when we're taking a break but as you cansee the lights are on so obviously we're selling food "a little girl also fell all the way down thRacer slides Sideways and tumble the entire way down smacking her head each time and she had to have been like two and the attendant came out and said do you want ice there's nothing else we can do. It's just a horrible environment as far as service goes. I won't be going back ever. read more

I am so dissatisfied . I am livid. Where to start? The employees are really slow at the cafe. They often put easier orders in front of a more complicated one that came first. Truly, they will stop working on your blended mocha and make someone elses sandwiches. I have waited 20 min for a drink, and 17 for grilled cheese. Really painful but I thought i should suck it up. But no more. The worst part of this place: the lack of value and flexibility. The play structure itself is awesome but do not host a party there. Highway robbery. The package that is the least expensive is a minimum of $25 per kid. For that, wouldn't you expect a decent amount of food and drinks for the kids? Maybe a cheap bag of trinkets or a cheap cake? No on all accounts, also, no matter how far in advance you let them know that there were fewer RSVPs than anticipated, they will not let you transfer your $100 deposit to simple admissions( only got 4 rsvps and asked to use the $100 I paid weeks earlier as credit to get those kids in and them buy them food. Nope, not even for credit in their own ridiculously overcrowded, overpriced place. You must pay the additional $175 ( $275 total for a party of 5 kids and they will still only give you 5 juice boxes and an anemic sandwich platter!).parents, do you want some party food? Sorry, buy it. Nevermind that the hosfess got screwed into $275 for 5 kids ( one is bday boy). I am furious. My husband is beyond furious that the only option we were given is simply to just let them keep the $100 deposit. I wish the jungle Gym in Santee didnt go out of business. They were much more fair, more value, flexible, friendly... Oh and woukd you like to bring extra games or a pull-string pinata ( the non messy, don't have to hit it) and agree to pick up any mess? No again! Also, bathroom is digusting unless you are the first business of the day. BOTTOM LINE, GO TO PLAYTOWN OR EVEN CHIC-FIL-A ( just saw this am that they have new playstructure lots of food etc for $12. At chick-fil-a you know you will find clean playground a d bathrooms and the friendliest workers you can imagine.The food itself is worth it, but they also give each child party favors and stuffed animal cow. Should be called "Lord of the Flys" bad parents dump their kids here while they sleep or are otherwise uninvolved with their children. The staff consisted of 2 people (I only saw two): 1 for the register and 1 to run the restaurant. The age range of this place is 0-12 just think about that for a second, what does a child of 1, 6 and 12 have in common?. There is an area for younger children, my kid was in this area when he was assulted by a 12 year old. The kid ran by jumped into the ball pit slipped and hit my kid, before I could do anything the older kid was off. This happened twice more each time I grabbed the kid and told him to leave the area, the next time after some searching I found the mom who was annoyed that I would bother her. I see only three reasons to come here: 1) your a bad parent and your kids a bully; in which case this is a great place to dump your kid. 2) your kid needs confidence building and has been taking self-defense classes, this is a great place to test out the new skills. or 3) you're a childless parent and you want to reach out to a child in need; just stand in the corner for 15 minutes. A dumped child will be more than happy to latch on to you. read more

Not very impressed with this place. Kids had a good time but that was the only upside to it. Parking situation is a bit rough as it is located in a lot with other businesses. Food was pretty bland and a bit pricey for what I got. And they ran out of ice cream! So no milkshake for me, even though it's on the menu and its summer. Also, place was crawling with ants. They were on the wall and table as I ate my food! Air conditioning is either broken or they didn't turn it on as well. Staff don't even say hi or send a smile your way if you make eye contact with them. Anyway, I guess I'll be taking the kids to Urban Jungle at this point! I am not a huge fan of writing online reviews, but as a guest at a recent birthday party at this place, I feel like I need to since the owner decided to personally attack their guest as thieves and liars. I am not going to get dramatic about it, but as a small business owner myself, I will verify the facts to some other reviews below as for I again was a guest at this party. -Staff left the people who booked the party waiting outside (while it was starting to rain and was cold) along with arriving guest until well after the opening time of 10am. A well managed business has employees on location and ready to open the doors well before their posted opening times. -bathrooms were not stocked properly. The soap and paper towels were empty in the mens room. Female guest complained of the same thing....which their staff was told about. I myself heard this twice. Again, the bathrooms were not stocked properly and this was within an hour of them opening. - I personally watched their staff make sandwiches and handle food without wearing gloves. Bare hands touching bread and sandwich meat then being handed to guest to eat....during the cold season. - The floor to party room was indeed filthy. I am guessing the place wasnt cleaned correctly before closing the night before and since they opened late with guest waiting outside they didnt have time to correctly clean it when it opened. The filthiness of the floor was brought up to one of the employees as she was passing out plates to which she rolled her eyes and said, "there is something wrong with the floor, we get that complaint all the time" I understand maybe some structural issues with the glue and the tile, but what I saw on the floor looked to be dried up pieces of cake and frosting. And as far as the actual filth, the stickiness and dirt shown on the bottom of socks and shoes does not lie. -besides the staff not clean, stocking the bathrooms or keeping the health code in mind when handling customers food, their overall presence resembled the mess and disarray of the establishment. Look, I was 18 at one point and can't say I didn't wear dirty, stained clothes at some point. But I can assure you not one place that I have worked would have allowed me to dress that way to represent their company. Again, this was within an hour of them opening so its not as if their shirts were stained and dirty from working. -pertaining to other reviews about children supervision, I have to highly agree. if you are a parent that is looking for a place to work or relax while letting your children play, I would advice to choose a park or the backyard instead. -The children's safety inside the play place isn't my only concern, but also the ability of children to walk out of the establishment with someone they didn't come with or all on their own. This place suffers from a major case of bad management. When it comes to the safety of your kids, do you really trust a group of young kids themselves (the staff) working part time to keep your children safe? I showed up to the party without any children with me, but easily walked out with my daughter in my hands and not only did they look straight at me, but allowed me to leave without even checking who I was. The exit and entrance was also backed up with people arriving and leaving. Completely unsafe. - the mom hosting the party didn't forget to pay. She was actually busy doing everything that the staff at the place was suppose to be doing....to which they apologized to her countless times. She mistakenly thought her husband had paid and vice versa....far cry from calling someone a thief. Lastly, this comment is directed solely at the owner of this place. The same owner who replied to a bad review by calling that person a liar and thieve. I think its funny that you did have the time to write up your CAPS loaded lying reply to this customer and member of your community but have YET even failed to call her personally. Maybe if you actually talked to a customer that had a complaint directly and not ignored them then these reviews wouldn't even be on here. Do you know how many parents were guest at this party and now not only are they privy to how you conduct your business, but as well as any other person that checks your yelp reviews. Going into a public forum and calling an upset customer a liar and a thief without even talking to them first is not only petty, but also an ignorant thing to do. Again, as a small business owner myself you are doomed to fail if this is the way you handle things when they dont go as planned. Anyone can be the nice guy when people are happy, but your true character shows when things don't go your way. In this day in age of review sites and social media this is the last way you want you want your business to be represented. Looking at all of the comments on here I can tell the person that owns this place does not care about making the improvements that are being requested. Hardly any employees working here....and the parents are all sitting around chatting with each other or staring at their phones like zombies. This can be extremely dangerous considering there are all ages of children playing..... .and children need to be supervised or monitored. If you're going to own an establishment where children are going to be, it is your responsibility to have enough staff to ensure the children's safety as much as possible. It definitely looks a lot bigger than it is in the picture, and I really did not feel it was very clean. It didn't seem disgusting, but it definitely could use a lot of improvements. Seems to me they just threw play equipment in there a few tables and couches and called it a business. Definitely am NOT interested in coming back. All I can say is that for $10 it was meh. The structure is pretty big and they have a nice little ball area where you can kick and throw. I all honesty, all the three star reviews pretty much have it covered, so rather than beat a dead horse I'll just touch on a few things. Though the food prices are somewhat reasonable, do not expect any level timeliness or "reasonable" service. It was nice to find out that we could have brought our own food and drink from outside. If we go again, I will be following my kid around the playstructure. A lot of these kids are running around with little to no supervision. On several occasions my child was borderline "bullied" one child in specific. On other occasions, he was pushed, pulled and so on. I realize that this sounds strange and that "kids will be kids" but since my son doesn't have the tools to stand up for himself it is up to me to do so for him. Anyways. With no TV's or video games, we have tons of fun with just their imaginations and all the cool things to do, we survive shark attacks then have some smoothies from the snack shack! I love this place. I brought my 1 & 4 year olds here and they played for hours. I was able to play with them even being 7 months pregnant which says a lot for the size of the play structure. You can easily locate your child inside the structure because everything is see through. Great for kids from ages crawling to 12! Food prices are cheap for the amount and quality of food you get, most everything is hand made. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that it isn't open 24 hours :-) read more

The first time I visited Funbelievable with my son we had a great time. We went about an hour before closing on a Friday night and had the place almost to ourselves. The second time we visited, it was complete chaos and horror!!! It was extremely crowded, sick children puking on the play structures and parents not even paying attention. I never understand taking a child to play when they don't feel well! The facility staff only wiped the puke up with paper towels and continued to let the children play in the areas. They probably have the best and newest indoor play structure around town. My boys particularly like the ball court at the back of the structure for playing dodgeball and other games. However, I bought a voucher for several playdates over the course of a a month or two and it was hard to use because this place is closed so often for private parties. They extended the voucher for me once (but they weren't too happy about it), and they make no apologies for all the closures. I woudn't buy another voucher since it was so hard to find days when they were open that I was also available. Also, their snack bar is unimpressive. read more
