Every year Buggs has been in business I have driven down to spend money locally. This year when I…read moreshowed up there was a nearly $2 fee to use a debit card. The business has a sticky note that says there's a small fee but it is not defined. A small fee is maybe 1-2% of the charge. I will no longer do business here because it's unethical to not be transparent in your fee structure and to charge so much to the majority of your customers. If you are that bad at navigating a payment processor then you have other opportunities to succeed.

Beanie babies, Lord of the Rings figures, Video games, Littlest Pet Shop, Little People (the ones we grew up with), Nerf Guns, DVDs, the itty bitty Polly Pockets (I haven't seen one of those since I was a kid), old PlayStation and video game accessories, Vintage clothing, Schleich figures, dolls, cars, and so much more--I felt like I had been transported back to my childhood. I saw toys that I or my friends had when we were growing up, and the nostalgia hit hard. As I walked around the store I felt a sense of childlike awe, and was caught off guard when I saw a beanie baby horse that I had as a child and had lost. It was a little bit like traveling back in time. Their prices were much lower than I had anticipated--especially since most of what caught my attention were toys I haven't seen anywhere since the early 2000's. The collection included a great deal of rare toys, games, and stuffed animals. They also had some toys that I've seen in the stores more recently, but Shiloh's Picks had a much more appealing price tag for them. The proprietor was friendly and approachable, and seemed very knowledgeable when it came to different toys and games. If you are looking for good toys on a budget, or rare items that you can't find anywhere else, this is a great shop to check out.

The book Exchange is a labyrinth of old and new books. Shelve after shelve you can find well tended…read moreand categorized books. They shop had so many books from even when I was kid. You can tell they put their hearts into literature and make sure you know what you're looking at and where to find it. They also allowed our dogs in so it's always nice when we can have that and wonder a book store. The price and value would depend one what ya got. Some of the older books I believe retained more value so it really depends on. They also buy , sell and trade books here so instead of getting rid of anything bring em here. It's a great stop and one of many bookstores in the area that is worth the stop.
